We're on the 4th thread! Oh come all ye symptom spotters! And a fertile new year!

Well I found the pregnancy test eventually, and other than the control line, there wasn't a sausage on there! I'll do another okp later to see what that says! Managed to get Dh to come shopping with me, body care have okp's 5 for a £1, and the cheap equivalent of FRER for £2.99 ( I was doing some research on them and they're called 'answer' apparently they're quite good. So I got one of those too!)

Even though I've got a really long cycle runner ? I'm not due af till the 12th, but I do agree that cd23 seems late to ovulate. I've got a weird pinching in my side again which I would usually equate with me ovulating, but now I'm not so sure!

Haha indi I get like that with my Dh, I tell him "I love you till the ends of the earth but today I really just want to punch you square in the chops!"

Awww snow sorry you're feeling rotten! Creamy cm could be a really positive sign though!

kat I dtd with dh every day if we can! I know the recommended wotsit is every other day but it only takes one sperm! So crack on!

That's my okp from just now, the test line is darker again! It's stealing dye from the test line! How completely odd! Going to dtd again tomorrow just in case I'm ovulating!

Ah starky if you've got long cycles then ovulation now would made sense - dtd like crazy!!

So...my af arrived early, checked and was actually atleast 2 days early. I'm glad, now I can move on and crack on with the next cycle!! Fx for you though snow.

Ovia predicted ovulation later than it actually was! (WHY are bodies so awkward!) Oops. Suspect we missed the window. Never mind, we DTD a couple of times so V minimal chance but good practice for next month!

Read through the thread, sorry for the AF appearances BUT the best month for it to happen in so you can enjoy NYE! Then we can all be sensible in Jan!

Stark - I think an OPK can pick up HcG so it might be reading that? Even if the pg is negative. On the other hand, ovulation most common 14 days prior to AF, which might make more sense if you have a long cycle, counting back from Jan?

Pink- CM sounds super positive (something I never thought I would say/even knew about 4 weeks ago!)! Fingers crossed!

Starky I have a good feeling about you, I'm the same I am 8dpo so maybe too early for a pg test but I read that ovulation tests can pick up hcg levels?!
So I think I have some yellow/white cm tmi sorry I don't know if this is a sign of AF or pregnancy? I'm cd23 so not lot until I can test. Really want to hold on this time and not test too early.

Starky what is your estimated cycle length? The luteal (post ovulation) phase is pretty much 14 days all the time I think so I guess if you are running on long cycles you could be ovulating now? I'd be dtd'ing as much as you can just in case!! And maybe take another pg test in a couple of days.

I got this OPK just now. Darker line but took it much later in the day than yesterday as been out. However have been drinking wine in the last 3 hrs so thought it would be more dilute. How many days do you get a positive OPK for? This looks the same as yesterday so no idea if I have already ovulated/am ovulating/am just about to. CM seemed a bit more erm eggy a few days ago than today though.

Still no af, another stark white bfn just now, loads of yellow watery/creamy cm 😜 Will test again in the morning or maybe the witch will get me overnight. Hope so, as I don't like limbo!!!!

Kat you can get several days of positive opk's but you consider the first one to be the actual positive which means that if yesterday was positive you can expect to ovulate any time between them and tomorrow

Stark I agree, cover your bases by keeping an eye on your opk's, dtd and poas in a couple of days.

I've googled til I can't see straight. Yellow cm seems to mostly be an early symptom but I've had it for a week now and no bfp. My temp is still up above the cover line according to ff. Beginning to wonder if the ic's are faulty lol. I've not tried a FRER or any branded tests. Only the cheap internet pissy sticks. (I could be grabbing at straws here)

Will give it more time I guess and splurge on an expensive pussy stick tomorrow. That'll bring af on fast I'm sure.

When are you due to test Snow? I've just been googling until I went cross eyed about yellow/creamy cm..I think I saw some before but now I don't know whether I'm clutching at straws myself.
Yeah maybe get a branded pissy stick tomorrow, I heard the super drug ones were just as good as FRER and half the price. Fx for you X

kat that's what my okp looked like last week when I thought I was ovulating! Get dtd-ing! I've got an approx 37 day cycle. So longer than most average cycles. So I do think it would make sense for me to be actually ovulating now, especially counting backward oke bubbles said.

runner I'm really pleased because I dtd today, and I know I'll get a chance tomorrow and Wednesday too! Will keep okp-in, and see what comes of those,and then maybe start obsessing over pregnancy tests next week! I had another complete vivid dream about ding a free last night, woke up on to of the world thinking I'd got a bfp again! Probably why I woke up and immediately did an okp and an ic! Cause I've not okp'd since last Wednesday! Must have been my body telling me to do an okp!

24, TTC #1, cycle 1. 6dpo and farting like an absolute trooper, and who knew nipples could hurt so much?

Think it's all to do with things going back to normal after implant removal but you never know! ;)

Get cracking, girls - whether you need to POAS or DTD! Fingers crossed for good news and fun times all around! I'm on CD 7 and we have made a start on getting upduffed this month. I thought we DTD exactly when we needed to last month around my fertile window but no luck so we're trying to just consistently DTD every other day throughout the month now that AF has gone. I hope we've got the stamina!

Snow during my extensive "pee on everything" phase I found that ic's didn't appear to be as sensitive as they claim. I'd say mine were less sensitive than a FRER and the test lines only really became darker than a squinter when I tested at 5 weeks.
I would also recommend FRER over Superdrug own. Superdrug ones are better than average but with FRER there is very little margin for doubt. If there's a line, you're pregnant end of. With Superdrug and other brands there is a lot more ink seepage and so room for error.

Stark if your opk's looked like Snows last week then I'd still say you ovulated last week. I ovulated around cd10 of a 35 day cycle. The 14day rules are just a average based on a 28 day cycle so they don't count for everyone and your luteal phase can be either short or long (there's quite a lot of people on mn with short luteal phases that go to a great deal of effort to make them longer) the bright side is that if you ovulated last week then you have a long luteal phase like me which makes it easier to get pregnant as the egg can implant at leisure without your body deciding to start breaking down your womb lining before its finished implanting and started producing pregnancy hormones.
I read an article a while ago which advised that you can have multiple positive opk results however the first one is the actual indication of ovulation. Another possible explanation is that you've ovulated twice. Not so knowledgable on this one (not sure if it would cause two distinct positives on an opk but you would assume so) but it is possible as releasing 2 eggs within a single month is the most common cause of twins.

Indi once you get your BFP you'll spend all your time as a bloated, burping and farting mess! I've stopped even trying to be polite about it at home, but then again OH "accidentally" farted in my face today so all bets are off lol
