I'm due Wednesday so almost cycle buddies! I'm not sure if I'm regular or not as my cycle has just settled down after having implant for 7 or so years. It's annoying how you notice every little thing about your body when TTC that you normally wouldn't bat an eyelid at. It drives us to crazy!

Ni4444 · 04/01/2016 12:33

It's either my eyesight or my phone but I cn never seen faint lines so I'll stay out of it Indi. Tomorrow morning should give you an answer hopefully. Do something nice for yourself today while you play the painful waiting game!

Hi Space! You just reminded me...I had a dream last night that I got up to pee and there was implantation spotting Grin... But then I think there ended up being loads of blood! I decided to ignore that, put on a pad and go back to bed! I actually had to check this morning that it hadn't really happened!! Weird stuff

Chocaholic88 · 04/01/2016 12:39

indi test again tomorrow... OH is marching me to Superdrug to buy some more after lunch lol. Will test tomorrow I guess!! You should too!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 04/01/2016 12:39

I agree with shelb indi I see a 2nd line on the first test and would be cautiously optimistic! Test again tomorrow with a FRER! Ooooh exciting times and a half!

dr don't worry easier said than done I know he was probably trying to make you feel better, but I know what you mean about the "does he really want this?" My Dh says things like "oh I hope you get what you want this year!" And im like "no, WE....what WE want...darling!" I know if it happened he'd be worried about money but he'd be over the moon really! And im sure your Dh is the same! Sometimes they find it tricky to emote in the same way we do!

Welcome space !

jam that looks like the lines are going the right way towards being dark, definitely dtd as much as possible!

I feel sick today! Probably because I woke up freeeezing!

Hello all! And welcome to newbies. Sorry I've been silent for a while. Still here just lurking and enjoying reading! I got AF and am now 10 days into cycle 2.

indi I see it too. I'd be optimistic but would wait and see what tomorrow brings. I know it's impossible to remain calm though!

Ni4444 · 04/01/2016 13:04

Dr I agree...we sometimes forget how enormously scary this is for them too! They worry about providing... Money, and good sperm, they worry about us and how we're going to be if it's a bfn or BFP. My other half refuses to get excited about anything until the BFP comes...but I know it's just because he doesn't want to feel disappointed and hurt if it doesn't work out. I need to remind myself of that sometimes though when the I get emotional and the negative thoughts try to tell me some sort of rubbish!!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 04/01/2016 13:24

ni and dr I think Dh is a bit like that too, although he really wanted to buy the chewbacca baby onesie from tesco a few weeks ago! I've purposefully been quite vague when telling him about ovulating and when I'm testing because until I get a bfp, I don't want him to feel like I'm putting too much on him. He's a sensitive soul really and I think it would make him question his own ball capacity if it did take us a year to get pregnant even though I know this is a reality he still sort of thinks he's got super sperm! And with my odd lh fluctuations I'd rather understand my own cycle a bit better first.

IndiX · 04/01/2016 13:30

Thanks ladies, going to test using another sensitive super drug one tomorrow. I havnt really had symptoms that I've taken much notice of. I am sleeping a lot more though so maybe? I'm trying not to get excited who am I kidding really?!
I understand about the DH issue, men are funny ones to read/understand anyway. Even though we were both really excited about the possibility of a line DH is refusing to get too excited until I test tomorrow..I did see a little tear in his eye before though bless him.

Ni4444 · 04/01/2016 13:41

Aw Indi that's so cute! I can't wait for the moment when I can tell my OH that's it's a yes!! Grin hurry up damn body!

IndiX · 04/01/2016 13:44

Well I can't wait for the moment is a confirmed bfp and not a faint line that I have to contrast on my photo editor haha!! Sending you all lots of love and luck for this month, it's a hard slog this TTC and makes you seriously question your own sanity!

Runner05 · 04/01/2016 13:52

Indi I think I see a line on both of the black and white ones. If you can get to boots I'd get a FRER as they are super reliable. Expect a update first thing tomorrow morning! I miss telling people to get their ass to the grads page lol

Hello newbies Grin

Jam I don't think that opk is quite there yet.

Stark for the sake of my mental health would you test already?! Wink

spacepoodle · 04/01/2016 14:29

Starky MY DH is the same. He refuses to believe he might not have super sperm and obviously he doesn't need to change his diet or drink less alcohol because of that reason.

Indi Good luck for your next test!

Runner I like your style. Tough, positive love. It's what us crazy TTCers need.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 04/01/2016 14:40

Dh is a fitness weirdo person space I've tried telling him that this could actually negatively affect his sperm and he's having none of it! Completely annoys me! His words this morning were "I'm surprised you're not pregnant yet" ..."darling, we started trying three weeks ago, the egg wouldn't know if I was pregnant yet" I'll explain it to him again later, I'm not even due af till the 12th, but a 37-40 day cycle is a mental mine field!

OP posts:
StarkyTheDirewolf · 04/01/2016 14:51

runner I will test soon, probably! Maybe next Saturday! I'm terribly defiant! Grin Flowers

IndiX · 04/01/2016 14:53

I've got to say I'm excited for you to test Starky, you must be going mad with this wait!

00Bubbles00 · 04/01/2016 15:00

ni I think we are the same age (I'm 32)? Am feeling slightly panicky (after one cycle which hasn't even ended yet) that I have left it too late. ARGH.

Indi FX for you! Its all a bit nerve wracking.

Stark/Space - I had the same conversation with DH - apparently he DEFINITELY has super sperm and so it will take no time to become upduffed. Amusing.

DPO, AF due somewhere between 10th - 12th (I vary on each cycle). Did a FRER at lunch and BFN. Burst into tears in work loo cubicle. I AM AN IDIOT.

DrWhy · 04/01/2016 15:01

Right - so conclusion seems to be that DH behaviour is pretty typical and I shouldn't panic! 😀 Another day of cramps and brown spotting - I'd feel daft buying a test just for AF to turn up bang on schedule tonight but then I guess at least I'd know!
Starky your DH sounds hilarious - you might have to find him to factual websites to read...! Mine reads up on all sorts of daft trivia - his latest being whether it's practical to buy a plot of land and build a house rather than buying one Hmm but not on this subject!

spacepoodle · 04/01/2016 15:22

Dr Mine is currently doing some research into boats. We don't live anywhere near the sea Hmm

Mileymoocow · 04/01/2016 16:07

Ok, couldn't resist the urge to test. BFN Sad as expected I guess!

IndiX · 04/01/2016 16:16

Was it your first morning wee miley? Try again in the morning? How many dpo are you?

Snowdog37 · 04/01/2016 16:20

Finished the 5 days of soy isoflavones and now to wait for ovulation, predicted to be Friday so the dh is on high alert for servicing me at least 5 times over the next week.

I haven't had any side effects from the soy, maybe a niggly ovary feeling like the follicles are pumping iron so they'll be super strong. Will start with opks again tomorrow. This will be my month, I hope.

Hope everyone else is enjoying their ride on the crazy train!

Mileymoocow · 04/01/2016 16:39

I'm CD 27, 14dpo. I'll check with morning wee tomorrow Smile

StarkyTheDirewolf · 04/01/2016 16:52

He's a muppet dr sometimes I despair of him! Most of the time I think I'm lucky because he outs up with me! He watches mostly training videos, occasionally he'll find a subject most recent being astrology and watch YouTube documentaries usually WILDLY inaccurate ones produced by some redneck out in the arse end of the hicksville bayou decide that it is absolute fact, and produce ridiculous "facts" I just "yes dear" him a lot! But in fairness to him, he taught himself to read when he was 18 he's dyslexic plus shockingly bad school system in the Welsh valleys when he was a child

Sorry to the bfners, best bet retry with fmu tomorrow, or give it a couple of days and go again. I've been another weepy plonker, you're in good company ladies! Grin

Chocaholic88 · 04/01/2016 17:03

spacepoodle lmao sorry that made me giggle so much!! Typical male 😉

So... came home from a nice afternoon out to my booking letter from the midwife congratulating me on my pregnancy... looks like the midwife is still sure I am 😕 got some more tests from superdrug whilst I was out. Will test again tomorrow with FMU, if it still doesn't show then I'll push for a sooner blood test... eurgh!

IndiX · 04/01/2016 17:11

Yeah I would really push them for an earlier appt choc, can't imagine how frustrating this all is for you? I'm driving myself mad with self doubt that my possible second line is a false positive. Crazy how different I feel now then this morning when I was looking forward to my AF and health kick!
Hope you're ok, sorry for any bfn's but I would deffo use fmu with any test or you'll just doubt the result anyway
