Starting the boarding for the December Bus...

My history if anyone is interested:-

DS1 in October 2012. Started ttc for dc2 last September. Got BFP in the November but MC'd at 5 weeks.
Fast forward to July, got another bfp. Started bleeding on August Bank Holiday weekend and found out we had MMC at 11 weeks. Had ERPC a week later. 5 weeks later after still getting positive hpts, found out the ERPC had been completely unsuccessful and had to have whole bloody procedure again.

Anyway. Now got my first proper period after all the above bullshit and hoping for bfp on or before the 18th December

And yes, my friends think I'm crazy too!! I conceived DS first month after coming off the pill so I'm getting quite impatient now!

mama my EWCM was still there first thing but nothing since, so I reckon my egg has been well and truly catapulted away!

English We used pre-seed first time too, but haven't this month so far. But if I get a BFN in Dec, I will definitely be using it again!

Mini I have wondered if stopping suddenly would make it happen quicker... But decided it would probably just give me a nice case of mastitis! That's lovely that you're so close in age with your siblings, fingers crossed for the same for our potential bubs

Expat, AF returned for me as soon as DD stopped night feeds, at about 8m.

As for tips, well pre-DS I conceived pretty easily (about 3 months each time - I've had four pregnancies) by DTD every other day from AF's departure (usually about CD8 or 9) until she turned up again. Seems harder this time, but I expect that's because I only gave birth six months ago.

Hi all, I'm hopping over from the November bus. AF arrived in her full glory 5 days early, what a bitch.

This cycle my strategy includes the same as last time which was OPKs, folic acid, vitamin D, B6, brazil nuts, pineapple juice in 2ww (yeah I know, but it can't hurt can it?) and loosely sticking to Sperm Meets Egg Plan. Also adding in evening primrose oil up until ovulation this cycle. I've been quite good this year so hoping Santa brings me an early xmas pressie in the form of a BFP.

Crunchy fx Santa gives u your xmas present !! I know just what u going through.i was so counting day the days to poasing and af decided to show 1 week early.i felt so low and had to go out to get my head back in the game.good luck and hope u feel better soon.we need to get our bfps for christmas !

Crunchy - pineapple juice? I've never heard of that one! Might have to try it, like you said it can't hurt!
For all those tracking CM - how do you do it? Without meaning to sound stupid, my DH and I are DTD every day or every other day, how do I know what's mine and what's his if you know what I mean?

Thanks Mimi, fingers crossed for you too! A week early, that's nuts. Glad you're back with avengeance now! Honestly what are our bodies all about? I've been like clockwork (without the pill) for years, now since starting ttc AF seems to be coming earlier and earlier. Last cycle was just a 9 day luteal phase, it's ridiculous. I know it's probably cos I'm thinking about it too much, but I feel like I've been reasonably chilled out about it all so who knows. I'm gonna up the B6 I think this month in the hopes of countering it.

bailey yeah I read somewhere that it's supposed to help with implantation but I can't for the life of me remember why. It's probably an old wives tale but I'm quite partial to pineapples so it's no hardship. The other one was grapefruit for CM around O time. I might try that but I'll have to force myself with that one. As for the CM tracking, as long as you're not checking within a few hours of dtd I'd guess you're probably safe in assuming that it's yours. I have no luck with the CM tracking though so I'm not one to advise really. Still haven't had proper EWCM yet, hoping that the EPO might help with that.

While we're on the topic, what is the deal with pre-seed anyway? It's put me off a bit that it comes with applicators. Seems a bit clinical? For those who use/have used it - do you apply it on your own and then go and start seducing the other half or does it necessitate application rigmarole immediately prior to getting it on?

Bailey and crunchy - you're both right, in my experience pre seed is not popular at all with DH's as they find it way too clinical and a turn off. So my advice would be to not mention it and use the applicator in private before DTD!

Should really try and DTD tonight as, according to FF, I could be OVing 21, 22 or 23...but I'm so tired and it would mean waking DH up...

My cycle is all over the place at the moment, must be the effect of coming off the pill. AF came after 34 days this month but previous month it was 26 days. Taking my conception supplements, using pre seed not and have DH taking selenium and zinc supplements - I think I need to chill a bit!

DH works away from home a lot and will probably be away for 4 days before / while I ovulate so not holding out too much hope for an early Christmas present. We need to at least try though!

Oh and like crunchy I've stock piled some brazil nuts, sounds like I need some pineapple as well - I guess it can't hurt!

We have been using preseed this month. I found the applicators intimidating at first but they're ok really!

Hie ladies ,im already going insane on this rollercoaster ride of ttc.had just gotten over sadness of af showing up a week early and knocking me off cycle 4.last night i did not sleep cause of cramps like af is imminent.now i have nausea and checking occasionally if i started bleeding already.could af be coming bk again?HELP,before i go bananas!

Got loads of EWCM this cycle, dtd late cd12 and early Cd16 (today), I hope it's enough. I've been fighting a nasty cold and dh hasn't been over enthusiastic (probably because of my snotty nose and hacking cough)... he doesn't know when it's my "fertile window". What about you guys, do you tell your dh when it's time?

Hi Sakura Iv been temping for quite a while so my DH kind of knows my cycle. Though a couple of times i.e last night he has not been in the mood and I have said we have to DTD tomorrow then as im probably ovulating and he is not best pleased and says I need to calm down and not pressure him. I swear I was never this mad before TTC!
