We weren't supposed to start till January! But we did!
Join us as we ttc #1 after pill/contraception etc.

We've got a boat, it makes frequent stops for wine, pissy sticks, wool, slings, cake and all manner of shit we don't need yet but we buy anyway!

Dh goes to the gym 5 times a week, he's a bodybuilder/weight trainer and he boxes so it's his happy place. I used to train 4 times a week with him and I worked as a podium dancer up until last January so I was quite fit. I might go back to the gym, I enjoy weight training but I hate with the fire of a thousand suns cardio! I've really got to be in the right mood to do any cardio other than swimming or dtd Grin

Thanks Runner. Due on Friday I think. Hard to know for sure first month off pill I guess. Always knew it was unlikely this month but it's funny how you start to convince yourself! I'd decided I felt dizzy. Maybe imagining it!

I should do some exercise, but chocolate and apprentice seems more appealing Grin

Runner05 · 18/11/2015 20:32

Berggamot I'm crossing my fingers for the spotting to bugger off.

Purple I'm scoffing chocolate now.

Bloody hell Stark!!! I used to do cardio and weights about 4 times a week but I like food to much to have ever been fit Confused

Runner05 · 18/11/2015 20:39

New I know what you mean. I'm due on Sunday, I still have skittle tits and walking around Tesco I really was struggling with the smells. It makes you feel as if you're going mental.

Newmrs22 · 18/11/2015 20:45

Yes I feel completely mental. Fingers crossed for you Runner! The skittle tits and smells are promising!

I know I'm not out until AF arrives, but I think 2 days before it's due I'd be producing some hormone if I was pregnant and I used a sensitive test, so now assuming I'm not. Want AF to come on time now so I can get started again next cycle!

Runner05 · 18/11/2015 20:51

It does depend, you do hear about people not getting a positive until well after AF is due. Don't count yourself out you, you may well have ovulated later than you thought Smile

StarkyTheDirewolf · 18/11/2015 20:56

I boaked at funny smells the other day, Dh goes "ooh is it a baby direwolf howling?" ...He's dead now. Grin I'm clearly having sympathy symptoms for those in the running this month!

Newmrs22 · 18/11/2015 21:00

true. I need to chill out a bit. I didn't expect a negative to feel so bad. This chat has helped though. Thanks

Runner05 · 18/11/2015 21:05

Hey, you're talking to the queen obsession, anyone kept count of how many pissy sticks I've used? Blush

StarkyTheDirewolf · 18/11/2015 21:16

I'm quite proud as I haven't actually used one yet! However, I haven't had much reason too, Dh is back and forth, I reckon I'll have him cracked by Christmas though Grin one of his mates has just had a baby girl so I'm making them a sort of little sleep sack, and he's been awww-in at it!

OP posts:
Runner05 · 18/11/2015 21:43

You can do it Stark you wear that man down Wink

Have just invested in 30 pissy sticks for £5. I have a problem but I knew I was an obsessive control freak, I've learned to manage my problem lol

Newmrs22 · 18/11/2015 22:15

stark I reckon the way forward is to wait until AF is actually late before testing. Less stress that way!

Ooh 30 for £5! You could easily justify one each day Grin

StarkyTheDirewolf · 18/11/2015 22:22

I'm not testing at all until we actually and seriously start, the odd go at it we have had at unprotected are unlikely to have resulted in a baby, and if I start obsessing more than i am now, I'll have the nursery decorated by Christmas before we're even pregnant Grin we're both still getting used to the idea I think at the minute as far as Dh is concerned anyway but I know I've got to ease him into the idea, he's a slow burning flame and quite sensitive despite the masculine appearance so I don't want to freak him out too soon, basically I'm equating my Dh to catching a skittish horse!

OP posts:
Runner05 · 18/11/2015 22:30

Lol Stark one of my friends describes convincing a man to do something important as coaxing a skittish woodland creature.

Morwenna1 · 18/11/2015 22:57

Fingers crossed for Monday for you Runner, but if it doesn't happen don't get too down about it Smile Just think, more sex! 30 sticks for a £5 - good move! I've got some cheap ones stashed away ready. The FRER ones are now on offer?! Damn it.

I'm with you Mrs22 - if I test before AF is late, that way madness lies. Thing is, you'll just doubt what the stick is telling you until AF does or doesn't arrive; whether you think it's a positive or a negative....

Hello to the newbies Grin

Oo - stats
Name: Morwenna
Age: 32
TTC: no 1.
Cycle: 3
CD: 9 (just entering into the window - and we all know what happens in the window ladies!!)
Been off Pill since July, but didn't start trying properly till end Sept/October time
Fitness: practically non-existant (although like walking, does that count?)
DTD: Got back on the wagon last night after a break due to headcold. Don't worry, I'm not suggesting that we keep public tabs on how often we DTD!!! Feels slightly odd inputting it into my app! (I do wait until DH has left the room!)

Runner05 · 18/11/2015 23:02

Haha Mor I wait until OH has fallen asleep before I add dtd. Have been surprised to see how much more frisky I am during the window and not just because of ttc.

If you can hold off testing until you're late then it's the best thing to do skips along ignoring own advice

StarkyTheDirewolf · 18/11/2015 23:14

Haha I loudly sigh until Dh says
"what are you doing?"
"listening to my fertility ebb away and my ovaries rattling...I'm subtly tabulating my periods and our sex life!"
"It's not subtle if you tell me"
"I'm being as subtle as I can be! Can you not HEAR my body clock ticking?!"

Yeah, so it's safe to say I'm not over-dramatic, he's hardly noticed Grin

Runner05 · 19/11/2015 07:51

HA! Stark that made me laugh! If I did that my OH would tell me to shut upConfused

So how are you ladies this fine and lovely morning? I haven't looked out the window yet so in imagining the day I want

Today is the start of Dr ordered daily exercise. As soon as I can convince myself to get out of bed I'm getting on the treadmill. I've got a terribly productive day planned out culminating in watching OHs band at the pub tonight.

I'm now pretty sure that I've had a chemical pregnancy. Skittle tits are nearly nonexistent this morning so I'm fully expecting the witch to appear on Sunday... Bright side blue cheese and wine hear I come... Should be able to indulge in my usual drunken tree decorating in 1st Dec too Grin

Anyone else here a fanatic who insists on putting the tree up on 1st Dec?

shelbTa · 19/11/2015 08:16

Morning ladies! Missed loads, tried to catch up.

X

BunchOfBobs · 19/11/2015 08:47

Oh Runner I hope not. But as you said if so there's cheese and wine!

I am very fanatic about Christmas. I have been known to do it the 30th of November Hmm

Good news. I'm just headed home, job finished early aaaannnd I'm still in my fw with an ovia score of 9!! eek.

Runner05 · 19/11/2015 09:11

Woohoo Bunch best get busy Wink

Morning run ok it was a fast walk complete. I will have a productive day today dammit! Grin

purplesmiler · 19/11/2015 13:03

Hi Ladies.

Runner I am also a Christmas fanatic but like to do the decorations on a weekend day so it generally falls in the first few days of Dec. I insist on a Christmas film while doing it luckily my OH is the same. We are going decoration shopping tonight.

Ni4444 · 19/11/2015 13:26

Runner, dont diss the walk! For me walking is something I'm much more likely to do so I'd rather focus on doing that than setting myself up to fail with running! Although if you're talking stress would you consider yoga? Lots of stuff on YouTube, and it feels so lovely to have a good stretch! good for ttc too

Christmas, yes love the decorating with Xmas movie or tunes and mulled wine if i get to drink it this year and mince pies Grin

Bunch that's fantastic news!!! Wishing you lots of dtd over the next few days!!...

Ovulation test still says no for me today, but it's gonna be this weekend I reckon. OH has been warned!!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 19/11/2015 13:33

My dsis says we can't decorate till the 15th....I'm totally doing it next week! I LOVE Christmas! I'm going to start on making some Christmas decorations now! Woooo!

Grin He's used to me runner I think I'm fairly low maintenance! I can be some what drama queeny when the occasion calls, but he knew that when he married me! He's very laid back, and he loves me, I'm lucky!

It might just be your body adjusting it's hormone levels and whatnot runner buy the forbidden treats and have them ready if you need them, and if you don't, bonus! Flowers

OP posts:
Runner05 · 19/11/2015 14:08

Ni I find yoga deadly dull but I do enjoy body balance which is a mix of yoga and a few other thing and is a bit higher impact.

Stark totally agree with the decorating OH says I shouldn't decorate for a couple more weeks but stuff that! Can't decorate next week though as sis is here... So much for avoiding stress Hmm
