We were talking about cervical mucus the other day Snow do nothing is TMI on this thread!!

Runner - yeah to the bloatedness as a possible symptom, but hope you aren't too uncomfortable Flowers

Pinklily1 · 09/12/2015 20:04

Haha, cross post Runner and both on the delightful subject of cervical mucus!

I have felt more 'wet' this week but no EWCM as yet.

Snowdog37 · 09/12/2015 20:11

I don't get great ewcm so my ob gyn recommended I try Preseed. Will be using it over the next week and see what happens.

leoniethelioness · 09/12/2015 20:27

I think I had EWCM when I ovulated but can't be certain as only guessing about ovulation. Seems to have passed now so I think it was there for ovulation.

456hana · 09/12/2015 20:32

Congratulations Mor and Bunch!

We wont start tying yet – I hope someone will still be left on here when we finally do! OH had a job interview on Monday, so fingers crossed about that. He wont here for another week, as they were interviewing again later this week. He has another interview next week too, and has found a there are quite a few companies are hiring, even though its so close to Christmas.. Hopefully we cant start tying next month – though it’s just temping to think let’s just go for it as there will still be at least another nine months of me working.

Pink – your ovulation tests look easier than mine! I was planning to start using them this month – I will try tomorrow and see what I get.

Runner – I also wonder about a preconception appointment. My surgery are very rude / unhelpful at the best of times so cant see they would offer such a service. I know they are standard in most other countries though, I guess its worth a try.

Ni4444 · 09/12/2015 20:54

CD34 pink. This is my second month off the pill. First month was all hormone headaches and chaos with CD32, second month absolute calm-no symptoms except abdom cramps and EWCM at CD20.

Guys I tested again this morning...still said no! Been googling reasons for false negs! Gentle period pains/cramps since Monday -wish I knew what was going on in there!

shelbTa · 09/12/2015 21:06

Runner - I had a tiny bit of EWCM when I had the ov spotting and that's it. Fingers crossed you stay like a floatation tank, gotta be good!

Speaking of cm i seem to have loads tonight vomit.

Runner05 · 09/12/2015 22:33

456 give your surgery a go. They can't be worse than mine!

Ni that really must be maddening. Do you think maybe your cycle is a bit dodgy and you ovulated late?

Shelb I'm sure lots of cm is a good sign.
Really do want to reduce the bloating though or I'm going to look like a beach ball squeezed into my cocktail dress tomorrow!!!

Feeling slightly better about my lack of ewcm this month now I know I'm not the only one to get little/none Confused

leoniethelioness · 10/12/2015 06:41

Sorry to hear that, Ni. I hope your cycles sort themselves out soon.

shelbTa · 10/12/2015 08:01

How frustrating ni - keep poas until AF arrives I'd say.

Runner05 · 10/12/2015 08:15

Morning ladies, how are you all today?

The symptom spotting game is still in full swing her. I can't do much as hiccup without wondering if it's s symptom.

10 days until testing and counting! (I think the Ovia testing countdown to testing is stopping me from going quite as crazy this month as last)

Ni4444 · 10/12/2015 08:35

Thanks for the support ladies. AF finally arrived last night! So at least there's the relief of knowing where we stand
.and hopefully the delay has pushed next ovulation back so we have a chance next month (OH and I are apart for 6 days over Xmas .. Which just happens to be my FW!! But hopefully now we should catch the end of it!)

How are you guys doing this morning? Almost the weekend thank goodness! Grin

Runner keep resisting those too early tests!

Pinklily1 · 10/12/2015 08:37

Morning all!

Runner have you got more symptoms? I am massively bloated today but too early to be a symptom for me!

Ni, so frustrating. Maybe your cycle is still settling down post pill but I'm with Shelb, I'd test again in a few days if AF doesn't arrive.

harrietm87 · 10/12/2015 08:39

456hana I will be here in jan! Got lots of parties and events over Xmas and new year so don't want to raise suspicions!

mor congratulations!!! Heartening to see some of you managing it so quickly!

No news from me. I've bought some opks but foolishly not the cheapies so gonna wait till next month to try them!

shelbTa · 10/12/2015 08:48

Me too runner! It's good to be able go crazy on here, although deep down I know it's prob only due to the natural estrogen and progesterone rise after ovulation.

What are you feeling??!

X

Runner05 · 10/12/2015 09:00

Ni sorry The witch got you but every cloud has a silver lining. Like you say, hopefully you'll now have a chance next month.

Shelb feeling exhausted, bloated, constipated aren't you glad you asked and generally a bit weird.

Still going to drink at the party tonight but I might take it a bit easy says the woman who's hammered after two pints!

How are you doing with the symptoms today?

shelbTa · 10/12/2015 09:03

Hmm.....they do all sound like possibles.

I don't feel exhausted in the slightest, energised if anything. I've got - sore boobs and nips, lots of school glue cm vomit, zero appetite, period pains, bit bloated....which as I've read can all be due to the progesterone spike.

shelbTa · 10/12/2015 09:43

Do you guys share your symptom spotting with your OHs? Or do you keep confined to on here? Just wondering...

goldenpineapple · 10/12/2015 10:20

Hello! I'm new! So glad to have found this - I'm going mad symptom spotting and its such a relief to know I'm not alone - how can the tww be sooooo long?!

This my third cycle ttc and AF due this weekend, resisting early testing but so many symptoms (real or imagined?!) its tough not to. Sore boobs (mostly the right one?!) and lumpy nipples, cramps PO and yesterday I got a rash on my forearm, which I have decided is definitely a sign?! (almost certainly unrelated...!) Oh lordy. Wishing I didn't have a day off work today as its too much time to go crazy and over think things!

goldenpineapple · 10/12/2015 10:22

shelbTa - I do talk to my OH about symptoms but to be honest, after the last time I was 'sure' I was pg and turned out not to be, I feel like I'm just making it up... do you know what I mean?! Its hard not to talk about it all the time when its constantly on your mind though right?

Runner05 · 10/12/2015 10:30

Hi Golden welcome to the nut house.

Shelb the cm situation sounds promising as you're supposed to get loads of it worked. I've got none which is why I'm not getting too excited about my other imagined symptoms.

I don't tell OH about my symptom spotting. He'd just tell me to wait and see anyway. He's not really into the over sharing on the ttc front lol
I did tell him about the opk but he wasn't really interested and I've spoken to him about my suspected chemical pregnancy last month. He was interested in the science behind it but not really fussed about it.
I think it's pretty difficult for men to understand the crazy women go through when ttc as they haven't really got anything to compare against.

It is difficult to act normal when your heads full of ovulation and wondering if that twinge in your belly is a sign. Confused

shelbTa · 10/12/2015 10:44

Welcome golden!

Yeah I nearly just messaged mine with 'oohh guess what I'm feeling' but thought no, get a hold of yourself woman.

If I get any bleeding or real signs of implantation over the next week then I'll get excited, until then I'm putting everything down to progesterone.

Ni4444 · 10/12/2015 13:23

It's a difficult one Shelb.. I tell him some stuff...especially fertility signs, but I think it's just all so alien to him that he doesn't really hear it if you know what I mean. I think until there's a BFP it's all too distant and abstract for him...so I share my symptom spotting and craziness on here instead! Thank God for mumsnet!

Do you know the weirdest thing about having natural AF again after so long on the pill...it kinda feels good..weirdo like I can feel my body is alive and working , rather than rather sedate and somewhat numb on the pill. I can feel my uterus working again! Anyone else know what I mean?!

Ni4444 · 10/12/2015 13:25

Mind you I'd prefer if it was working in terms of getting up the duff...but at least I know it's all in working order!

shelbTa · 10/12/2015 13:33

Totally know what you mean ni re getting back to normal.
