We've got a boat, it makes frequent stops for wine, pissy sticks, wool, slings, cake and all manner of shit we don't need yet but we buy anyway!

Pink I can see a very faint line on that but yes, it's safe to say you're not ovulating yet.

EWCM happens around ovulation for a couple of days. If you've got it then you are probably fertile but I sometimes get it randomly too.

New I got the ones I'm using in Superdrug but I've got some plain old dippy sticks coming in the post hope I don't need them!! which were just Amazon cheapies.

So, I got a couple of twinges low down this morning. Like pinching. I'm now wondering if that was ovulation pain if so I think I've missed my window for getting more swimmers as OH is shattered bless him.

I'm kind of pleased I gave it a go, just so I'm familiar with how to use them etc. Only on CD 11 now so will try again in a few days. Ovia has fertile window starting on 12th.

I found myself being very old lady like in the supermarket and grumbling to myself about how much things were - £30 for a Clearblue digital ovulation test . Needless to say I didn't get that one.

So exciting that a few of you will be testing at about the same time. Don't cave in Runner!

Our baby will have OH's surname with my mum's maiden name as a middle name because it's a lovely Irish name and my mum had no brothers to carry it on. I'm keeping my own name because I prefer it to OH's. Don't really mind us having different names.

This has been the most arduous tww so far....symptom spotting like a maniac, so hard to focus on anything else...1 day to go, sigh! If things don't happen this month, I'm wondering what to do about the next cycle...fertile window is bang on when we're staying with the rents over Christmas (sexy). And will be difficult to avoid drinking lots of alcohol. What is everyone else's plans?

Also, does anyone know how to turn off text notifications from Ovia? I'm getting my phone going off randomly. Today Ovia wanted to know what's going on down there even though I'd put my data in!

For those using OPKs how often are you testing and what time of day?

I got cheapies from b&m, 3 for a pound! I'll get one "good" test and save that till I've got a bfp on the cheapies! Baby Starky will have Dh's last name, but I took his too, so we'll all be the same.

Mor I tested this morning...simply cos I thought it would be a waste of wee not to test!! It was obviously another bfn so no more tests for me. Pretty certain AF is coming (would die and go to heaven if that turns out not to be true but not likely) Looming forward to hearing your results though!!

I'm just sat on my bathroom floor trying to work out whether today's opk is darker than yesterday. I think so, the line is fatter and more defined. What do you think?

I'm starting to understand why people tape their ic opk's together for comparison!

Oh it's hard to tell Runner. It does look fatter though. Are you able to break them open then can compare next to each other?

I thought about it but I think I'm just going to do another one this evening.

Ovia which must be flipping out by now has now moved my fertile window again. It now thinks I'm still fertile until tomorrow. And I'm testing on 21st.

Runner, Pink, I'd carry on as normal next month whether we were at the rents or not if it wasn't for the fact that there will be so many occasions where we'll be expected to drink! The 'I've got a banging headache, so I'm driving' excuse will only get me so far! I don't really want to miss a month if I can help it...I dunno, maybe I'll just carry on (with no pressure to dtd every other day!) and carry on drinking as well.

Just been on a thread that asks women what symptoms they had before their BFP's:

1. Gas - check
2. Bloating - check
3. AF type cramps - check
4. Heartburn - check. (Had this on and off for a few days)
5. Breathlessness - check. (Just climbed to the top of our stairs and needed to pause!)
6. Crying at the most ridiculous things - check (Disney film and for no apparent reason!)
7. Heavy boobs - not sore, but they do feel slightly heavier
8. Sleeplessness - check (could be down to bloating, but I have struggled to get to sleep because of discomfort for the last week or so).
9. CM is now somewhere in the middle of being watery and glue-y (sorry, tmi)

10. Thirsty - check. Really thirsty. 11. Lack of AF - check! It's still not here and today is the day ladies. Will most definitely be testing tomorrow morning if it's not arrived.

With a list like that, you can see why I'm driving myself insane!

A few more:
12. An itchy scalp (apparently one woman had this)
13. Spots on face (around mouth and chin)
14. Sweating. Bunch - I think you mentioned this, tmi sorry, but I could smell my pits (after deodorant and no excessive workout!) the other day.

My sense of smell hasn't altered though.

Well, I've decided to go with Ovia as both yesterday and today look clearly positive to me. so much for people missing the hormone peak, mine seems to be going on forever!

My cycle has been what the medics term 'regular', but I did have a 32 day one before, so I'm just holding out till tomorrow morning! tears hair out

Just caved and did another opk. The line is now barely visible. I've had quite a lot to drink which will account for some of it but I think my surge is now over.

Last month I was excited at this point. Now I'm kinda deflated.
