You can't beat a Freddie Mercury-themed title to get a new thread going Grin

I love the "z" Jags. Very hip hop. Hope the Jaggybabies are well.

Belle how are you getting on? 13lbs is totes loseable. Have you joined Weightwatchers or similar or are you going it alone? My sister did the Cambridge diet and got on really well with it.

loops any news from you? And Far??

Hinks what about Elliot?

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 17/11/2015 15:10

Hi Imps and everyone else lol

Crap couple of weeks here, ds1 was ill and in and out of hospital and in and out again. Doing ok now and will be going back to school this week but was rather worrying at the time.

I still managed to make it to Coventry on Friday and it was worth every penny. Won't have the NK results for a few weeks but they have told me I definitely have PCOS (my local hospital did a scan in June and said I didn't) and Coventry also said I have a number of small fibroids. And a uterus that is tilting really far forward. Not sure of any implications until I get the phone consultation but the prof did say he would be writing to my doctor to get me put onto metformin. Unless the results mean I need to wait, we plan to ttc in Jan and use our first months supply of clomid.

Will keep my fingers crossed Imps for your bfp. Is anyone else in 2ww?

QueenMolotov · 17/11/2015 17:43

Yes, I'm in the 2ww Loopy! Finally took the plunge this month when I was ov'ing and the day after. AF due on Sunday. I have managed to avoid wine ever since ovulation, but am treating myself to a glass this evening and then no more, I say!

Very sorry to read about your son. Fingers crossed that he is now 100% recovered.

Good news for you re. Coventry. Perhaps now there will be a base to work from in order to secure a future pg. Brooking for you.

Hi Jaggy (or Jagz Grin), how far along are you now? Love the hip hop vibe. We have quite the musical trend to this new thread!

Hi all, can I join?

Just recovering from my second MC in a row, it's been 6 weeks since I miscarried at 12 weeks (baby died at 7), so just waiting on AF so I can start tracking again.

Really losing my wits with all this waiting SadThanks

Congrats lolly x

Imps9 · 17/11/2015 18:43

Oh boooooooo Found that is a massive shitter. But now you are here you are destined to get a sticky BFP - we don't let Brookers leave empty-handed. We will hold your hand every step of the way (apart from during The Sex - you probably wouldn't want us to do that).

Loops that sounds oh so positive! What does the metformin do? That might be something I need to take for my next IVF round. Heaven knows I've got enough other drugs to take.

Mol well done on no wine! That rule went out of my particular window several years ago! Have enjoyed quite a number of bottles glasses this 2ww and I've had a thoroughly nice time.

Hink what about Arthur?

FoundIt · 17/11/2015 18:50

Imps I'm all for spicing things up and all but I think that's a step too far ;)

QueenMolotov · 17/11/2015 19:20

I didn't drink when in the 2ww for dd1 purely out of circumstance (had been on antibiotics when I conceived her). We were on holiday when dd2 was conceived and I remember I might have had the odd glass here and there before I knew I was pg, but not much.

I've been very relaxed with my alcohol consumption since then, and I'm not sure where this new government recommendation (for women ttc to abstain from alcohol) comes from. It all seems to work in such idealistic circumstances. Plus, it just adds more pressure to assume you're pg each month.

And hello Found. Sorry to read about you MCs Thanks

jaggythistlez · 17/11/2015 19:22

Oo imps I was going to suggest Elliot. Dh wouldn't let me have one even though I suggested it all 3 times.

Also your hand holding made me Grin

Baby jagz no 3 is 5 months old already. What happened there? She's getting all big and wriggly.

QueenMolotov · 17/11/2015 19:39

Bloody hell Jaggy ... When you said "getting huge already", I thought you meant YOU!

I can be so dense sometimes!

5mo is so lovely Grin All squishiness, love and gummy smiles

OP posts:
jaggythistlez · 17/11/2015 21:27

Mol she is quite lovely. (I'm her mummy so I've got to say that) Her big brothers seem to quite like her so far, my 3 yo would like to cuddle her all day. I predict chaos when she crawls into the Lego etc in a few months though. Grin

I'm still fairly huge if that makes you feel better. Wink

You might have been taking a break from the thread when she made her rather dramatic entrance. We had to speed to the hospital and the poor midwife didn't even get to introduce herself before I had my sneeze birth. Blush

Hi found. :) Brooking lots that this thread works for you too.

keepitgoing · 18/11/2015 07:32

Hi found, I'm so sorry about your miscarriages x Brooking AF won't show because you're diffed with a sticky one!

Surge here so had better smack it tonight!

QueenMolotov · 18/11/2015 09:28

That right, Jaggy, I had a break from the thread in June due to my head being done in and some other health problems.

Certainly sounds like a dramatic birth! A sneeze birth sounds good to me though, so please have my belated congratulations Thanks My dd2 was a human Hoover when she was crawling. Dd1 couldn't have any tiny toys at all because they would ultimately find some way of getting into dd2's mouth. Dd2 is 3.7yo now and I still find myself asking her sometimes what's that in your mouth? It's probably only her tongue but ...

Af due in 3 days :) x

Don't stop us now! We're having such a good time, we're having a ball and BROOKING NO ARGUMENT!
Imps9 · 18/11/2015 13:01

Have you still been ovulating despite not having AF then Lol, or do you think you've been pregnant all this time and it's only just showing on the tests?

lollyb20 · 18/11/2015 13:08

Hi imps assuming your last message was for me lol. I have no idea to be honest i normally no when i have been ovulating plenty of cm and get ovulation pain... last two months i noticed i was not getting any of that. :/ very odd x

Imps9 · 18/11/2015 13:23

Oooooooh I wonder then if you've been pregnant all along! Will be v interesting to see your bloods/scans!

QueenMolotov · 18/11/2015 13:35

So you could even be between 5-12/13w pg, Lolly!

When I was pg with dd1, the only way I knew I was pg was by the many BFPs (couldn't believe my luck, so I did loads of tests). I had no symptoms at all; I didn't even start to get a bump til I was about 24w! I pretty much went for the scans to make sure a baby was actually in there!

OP posts:
keepitgoing · 18/11/2015 15:05

Hmm they are still faint so I wouldn't think she's 13 weeks!! Congratulations lol

QueenMolotov · 18/11/2015 16:50

I'd noticed that they were faint Keep, but as Lolly said she hasn't felt ovulation for a couple of months, it is quite possible she could be as far along as 12/13 weeks. Maybe unlikely, but still possible.

Hopefully Lolly will report back with her dates once she has a scan to stop us all guessing!

OP posts:
lollyb20 · 18/11/2015 16:53

Im guessing myself i really have no idea whats happened really weather im 5 weeks or 13 im over the moon! But if i have concieved within the last 2 months im very confused about my ovulation.

My friend a few months back got a faint positive when she went for a scan she turned out to be 18 weeks pregnant x

Imps9 · 18/11/2015 18:49

Well given that I'm nearly 5 years pregnant, 13 weeks seems entirely possible ;)

butlerbabies · 18/11/2015 21:47

May I join?

First AF arrived today after my miscarriage at 12 weeks (6 weeks ago). Feeling positive Grin

Fingers crossed everyone has a magical Christmassy BFP Thanks

Remember though, no WineAngryEnvy

keepitgoing · 18/11/2015 21:48

Are you going to try and get a scan lol? :)

imps 5 years... You are ginormous!

keepitgoing · 18/11/2015 21:50

Hi butler sorry about your Mc. Welcome! Er, I've just had some wine... Let's be sensible about this!
