Hi ladies, I'm new here :) I posted a seperate thread saying hello but was advised to jump in here!

I'm 29 and It's my first month off the pill in 14 years! I stopped taking it 2 and a halfish weeks ago, and have no idea if I've ovulated yet. Does that make me "Cycle 1" or do you wait until you've had a period to start counting it?

We've DTD a fair few times and my obsessive nature is already going "Could it happen that quick?" But my logical side is telling me to shut up!

I'm hopping on! Have posted on several threads so hopefully I can keep up!!

I hardly notice ewcm. Tried taking evening primrose this month but made me feel sick so stopped. Hopefully the amount of bonking has mitigated this!!

So this is today's opk cd 16 why isn't it getting darker we didn't have a chance to dtd this morning as baby woke up early and oh mum is coming to stay tonight scared I'm going to miss my chance. Please calm me down befor I loose my mind

You will have dtd yesterday so try not to worry, Wanting. This is why I have stopped using opks, they stress you out.

I'm on cd 20, 6 dpo and have had a little cry. I feel so emotional. I'm scared it isn't going to happen and I feel sad today.

I feel like crying everyday it's stressing me out so much were going to have to try and do it tonight some how I hope it gets darker tomorrow I don't want to miss my chance what's making it worse is both of my best friends have just recently announced there pregnancy who are also sisters now I feel like an outsider even thow I already have a son.

Hoping for this month too. TTC#1, cycle 3, CD 12! Fingers crossed for all of us x

My opks never got any darker than your wanting. I know I ov'd because if got dd. I just have very hydrated pee!

ow god hope I don't miss it they've been this dark today and yesterday.

Last month I lost my mind with the excitement of finally TTC and tested 9 times before AF def need to get a grip and manage my expectations from now on! Somebody please slap me in the face if I try to test early again. Fingers crossed for lots of November BFPs

Woke up to AF this morning (boo!). One day early which makes for my shortest cycle in a long time. Better a day early than a day late I suppose. So my test date's towards the end of the month; hoping to see many BFPs on the thread before then

Hi everyone,

AF finally gone so time to get on with cycle#2. Haven't been putting much thought into this so far but am going to use OPK's to try and catch my ovulation this month just to reassure me that everything is working ok. When should I start testing for LH? Is there a best time as I am used to testing in the morning but think I missed my actual surge last month? I am on CD7.

Having a bit of a wobble about ttc#4 - me and my DH seem to be working flat out and find it a bit of a struggle at times. I work with children all day, had 6 kids between 18mths and 9yrs for 9 hours today! I must be mad to want another one that never goes home!

I'm stepping away from the science for now, I get a bit stressed out with it. Took 19 months for #1, 6ish for #2, so hoping it will be even quicker this time!

We are going for the every other day method at the mo.

OMG I'm so bloody annoyed my oh won't dtd well his mother is here and she's staying till Saturday which means I'm going to miss my chance we did it on cd 15 and I'm now on cd 17 I feel so annoyed with him

wanting maybe you should try to relax and just get all frisky with him once you go to bed. I think a lot of men feel pressured if dtd is planned but if it's just natural they tend to forget about everything.

AF has finally gone for me now and I'm a bit nervous. This is my first cycle and after 34 years of trying not to get pregnant, this is the first time in my life I haven't been on birth control. Slightly freaked out but I'm sure I'll get over it.

Runner, I completely know what you mean - it's weird, isn't it? I realised the other day that despite three pregnancies and one daughter (there's a whole list of birth control that does not agree with me) this month is the first month we've actually deliberately not used any birth control. Very odd.

Yep, thurlow it's just a bit surreal... I keep thinking, I'm not sure I'm grown up enough for this shit lol

We had a chat about it befor and he said he just feels abit pressured to preform and when he's tired he can't I think I just need to relax abit and hope that I haven't missed out this month we dtd the day befor yesterday and hopefully will tonight how long is sperm supposed to live for??.

Hi wanting Im pretty sure sperm can usally live for 3-5 days as long as they have fertile CM to be in. Hope that helps.

Thanks grace I'm hoping so as I did another opk tonight and it's lighter so looks like I've ovulated already I'm on cd17 and we last dtd on cd15 do you think I'm in with a chance or not ??.

Waves to all newbies. Wanting, you are in with a chance because you dtd during your fertile time. Try and relax. Opks are not an exact science. The 2ww is horrendous so try to take some of the pressure off yourself and be kind to yourself.

It's cd 21, 7 dpo here. I'm really trying hard not to symptom spot but it feels like the 2ww is dragging on and on!

2 days before ovulation has the greatest chance of fertilisation statistically so don't worry
