just checking in and catching up on all your news. It's been a crazy month for me work-wise, and we just about managed to dtd over my fertile window despite being away at the in-laws' (wince) and then with friends (double-wince)... wondering how people are getting on with lengthening lp's? I am back on the b-vits this month for the second part of my cycle, got so desperately upset with my 7 day LP that thought I had to do something about it. So far I am on cd31 which is looking good, I think I ov'd on cd22

Hi Flymo, that sounds positive you have already reached 9dpo so fx AF stays away.

I have been trying to keep busy and distract myself lately, I can't cope with the disappointment every month and I think that I've come to accept it probably won't happen until we get any medical help we may need. According to FF I didn't even ovulate this month though I'm not sure I trust that 100%.

sunshine, do you opk too or just chart bbt? I found my chart went a bit haywire this month and I wasn't able to chart my temps while away, then when I got back I was a bit under the weather and my temps went up so it moved my ovulation to a totally random time

Sunshine, FF said i didnt ovulate and i got a BFP!!

3 cycles of cyclogest have arrived! Hurrah! Peak on cd20 so dtd 20,21 and 22 so fingers crossed. Cd23 today and 6 days until AF usually appears!

Advise me! Private appoinment on Friday which would be cd27, however what if (if....) I got a bfp and I waste £130! Should I rebook? Thing is if they give me clomid if have to take cd2 or cd5, so don't want to miss it. Id have to get an appointment Monday or Tuesday.. Hmm

Ok I've moved the appointment to Monday. I hope (wish....) by some miracle I don't need it and I get to keep my pennies!!

Got my letter from the gynae too, it says they've reassured me that I will probably go onto have a healthy pregnancy in the future, that me and DH must be ok as we got pregnant so they will see me in 12 months if this is not the case. So that's the nhs route it well and truly blocked for a year!

Flymo, I hope its your month. When you testing? Sunshine as Sanch has said strnager things have happened. I got a BFP when I was told I hadn't ovulated (by a doctor)!

Sunshine fingers crossed for you. Who knows what crazy things our bodies do. Try to relax. Apparently more babies are conceived in colder months (true fact) so just stay positive!

Mascara I really hope you don't have to wait a year, that you get your bfp and its healthy.

A friend of mine recently went to see a medium and said she was great and knew thing she couldn't possibly have know and so she's going to go back. I'm sceptical but I'm going to go in a few weeks! Hopefully she doesn't say something like I see no children in your future haha.

Oh and flymo my LP has gone from 9days, 10days, 11days and last month 12days. Not sure if that's my body getting pack to normal post pill (came off mycrogynon 30 in January after ten years) or as a result of me trying to be healthy and eat the right things etc. my GP said my luteal phase shouldn't change so who knows.

Thanks girls, I suppose theres still a chance but atleast if I don't get my hopes up I won't be as disappointed (who am I trying to kid??!!)
I don't overly trust FF anyway as my temps have gone up and are what they usually are after ovulation. I'm just trying to focus on planning christmas and breaks for next year.

12dpo here so a good LP, hopefully that aspect of my fertility has settled down! AF due tomorrow

Sunshine12 I've tried to adopt the same attitude but I know I'll be gutted. Got a family party the day AF if due, it'll only be 9dpo so slightly too early to test, not sure how I can it cover up!

When is AF due Mascara? Mine is due sometime over the weekend. We are away this weekend for my bday though

Due Sunday, cd29. My LP has not changed from 8 days since I started ttc. However I imagine the cyclogest may lengthen my LP and give me a false hope

Anytime from friday to sunday, I'm not 100% sure as I don't know if/when I ovulated, but i'm going to enjoy a couple of glasses of bubbly in the meantime.
Do you take the cyclogest everyday after ovualation until AF arrives? Or fx you get your BFP xx

It says take day 18-28 of the cycle on the pack but I'm guessing they assuming most people ovulate day 14 and AF arrives day 28. So I've take cd23 and I'll do it for ten days yet and then test as it delays AF x

Morning ladies, if I go by my last LP of 12 days then AF is due today. Stupidly took a test this morning which was, of course, a BFN. It has hit me even harder this time after a 50+ day cycle. My temps are on their way down to which kind of confirms it

af was due sunday which means I'm now on cd 32, have been poas and all BFNs (three days in a row). but am at least well chuffed that my lp has lengthened... don't have other symptoms though am looking out for them

Oh Shary if nothing else you've extended your LP which gives an egg more time to implant. Fx you get a BFP soon xx
