I just stumbled across missed miscarriages on Google and now am freaking out... :S

sunshinegirl12 · 28/12/2015 15:31

Mrsrose, I know its easy for me to say but please try not to worry, its all out of your hands now so you just need to relax and look after yourself. xx

mrsmugoo · 28/12/2015 16:40

Don't worry yourself about symptoms Mrs, I had zero symptoms until 7 weeks then 24 hour sickness until I turned 10 weeks then back to nothing. My only symptom now is bump and a handful of very light movements felt. Sonographer at my 12 week even said it looked like I would have an anterior placenta which makes sense as I was feeling more movement with my first by this stage!

mascaraisamust · 28/12/2015 17:07

Mrs it's all out of your control, unfortunately what will happen will happen and there is nothing you can do to prevent it, either way! So sit back and relax. P.s exhaustion is a symptom and I've only been sick once!

Thanks sunshine12, I talked some sense into myself after I posted...sorry to be a nightmare!

mrsrose33 · 28/12/2015 17:29

Oh sorry, didn't see the other comments until after I posted my reply to sunshine! Thanks mrsmugoo and mascara - I know worrying won't help anything and it's out of my control, that part of my issue - I'm a massive control freak lol. Got my GP appointment tomorrow so hopefully they will talk some sense into me then too :)

sunshinegirl12 · 28/12/2015 17:32

Mrsrose, its normal to worry and I know I will be exactly the same, but thats what we are all here for. Hope all goes well at your appt tomorrow. xx

mascaraisamust · 28/12/2015 17:46

Also I am a self confessed worrier... (Easier said than done)

Mrsrose I know I'll worry a ton when I get my bfp but I agree with mascara what will be will be but I'm sure you'll be fine!

Sunshine I just googled hot water bottles TTC and stuff about it being good for implantation came up but then also things that said its bad so who knows.

sunshinegirl12 · 28/12/2015 23:05

Thanks Sunshine, I'll jave to have a google. I'm starting to take a probiotic this month as I've read a couple of things about it helping the ph level down there and making it more friendly to sperm. The things we try eh! Smilex

DizzyMerry · 29/12/2015 23:49

Just caught up after a very busy few days. Many congratulations mrsrose. What wonderful news. As others have said it is out of your control and as hard as it is please try to relax and enjoy this time. Wishing you an uneventful pregnancy.

AF is due here on Thursday and I'm fully expecting her what with my usual pre AF cramps. I'm 13dpo and had no spotting this cycle so at least things have settled down now.

FuzzyOwl · 30/12/2015 11:59

Sunshine12 my view is every other day in the lead up and every day from when you get a positive opk (or including the day before if you are regular enough to predict it) and do three or four consecutive days.

Mrsrose pregnancy is a massive worry. I have had a missed miscarriage, so feel free to ask away with any questions. But in some respects, I had more symptoms with my mmc than my successful pregnancy.

Please can I have some advice or your thoughts - I started what I thought was AF on Christmas Day. I had expected it around that time and had two heavy days, two days of no bleeding and then bled again yesterday. This is really unusual for me, as I usually have four to six consecutive days of bleeding. What is stranger still is that I have spent three consecutive days feeling sick (badly enough to wake me in my sleep or prevent me from sleeping) and feel as if I have a hangover/travel sick. The first day possibly could have been a hangover, although I only had three glasses of wine over twelve hours so it would be surprising, but not the last two days. Do you think it could be pregnancy related? I got a definite BFN this morning and no other symptoms. I am about 15/16 dpo.

mascaraisamust · 30/12/2015 16:49

What did you test with fuzzy? Maybe try a frer? Sounds bizarre!

OP posts:
FuzzyOwl · 30/12/2015 16:52

The cheapest of the IC mascara so I shouldn't really expect anything less! Grin I begrudge spending so much money on FRERs but I know I have a supermarket test somewhere so will hunt it down and test first thing tomorrow or Friday. I probably just have some nausea bug and had a weird AF but being a symptom spotting addict, I can't help but wonder otherwise.

mrsrose33 · 30/12/2015 22:09

FuzzyOwl sorry to hear you've had a missed miscarriage in the past. I've had an awful bout of nausea tonight (plus diarrhea - sorry TMI) so symptoms are definitely back - nausea hits me any time from 4pm onwards it seems! However now you've said you had more symptoms with your mmc I'm a bit worried again, as I've had queasiness from 9dpo, so very early, so is that in fact a bad sign? My GP didn't have anything helpful to advise about my lining, just said it shouldn't be an issue, but frankly I think what he meant was he doesn't know lol.

From what you've said about your current symptoms it sounds like it might be worth investing in a frer! :)

FuzzyOwl · 30/12/2015 22:26

Thank you mrsrose but I didn't have nausea at all with my mmc although I did with the 7 month old I am feeding as I type this! As awful as I found the nausea (all nine months of it 🙄) I quite liked it as it made me feel everything was fine inside. There were lots of occasions with my successful pregnancy when my symptoms stopped altogether for several days at a time and I had a massive, and completely unnecessary, panic. The only thing with my mmc was that I knew with an absolute certainty that something was wrong - it was enough for me to pay for a private scan to confirm it - and my symptoms remained exactly the same every day, with the exception of breast tenderness that went away. However, in my successful pregnancy my boobs never hurt in the first place and I could lie on my front if I wanted to until the end. In my experience, fluctuating symptoms is a good thing because they come and go with your hormone build up and your body adjusting to it. My queasiness began at 11 dpo according to my app, so I think everything sounds fine.

I think I just have a stomach bug that is combined with a weird AF and obsessive SSS (symptom spotting syndrome). I made a slightly early new year's resolution to stop testing and wasting money on FRERs so I can't break it already when 2016 hasn't even begun! Even by my standards that would be bad so I am going to assume AF began on Christmas Day and get DTD to get my BFP in January.

mrsrose33 · 30/12/2015 22:38

Hi FuzzyOwl, ah I see! I misunderstood what you said initially. My boobs aren't hurting much at all, unless I prod them and then it's a slight burning sensation and tender. I also love it when I get queasy as it confirms to me I'm pregnant and that something good is going on with my hormones :) I feel better now thanks :) I've started having a weird taste in my mouth today too. I'm going to make a determined effort to relax and enjoy this day by day.

It might be worth taking another cheap test in a couple of days? Good luck for January if not, 2016 is the year for you guys I'm sure of it!

FuzzyOwl · 30/12/2015 22:40

Glad you are feeling better mrsrose. I hope you are able to relax and enjoy it. Smile

mrsmugoo · 31/12/2015 07:36

Mrsrose - I didn't get any boob symptoms until 10 weeks first time and 15/16 weeks this time. I'm 17 weeks now and I have NO symptoms! I feel completely and utterly normal.

mascaraisamust · 31/12/2015 10:53

First ended in an early mc for me too and I had soreness all the way through.

This time I've had no symptoms really up until 8 weeks apart from being cold and tired and I was sick only once, then I felt fine and now I'm 10 weeks I'm really nauseous again. You really cannot predict it through symptoms. I know one friend who had every symptom going and it ended in mc unfortunately. Get to 8/9 weeks and the odds reduce dramatically. Highly recommend an early scan at around 8/9 weeks if you are anxious. Mine was only £35 and put me at ease after seeing the heartbeat. Now I've got 12 days until my 12 week scan and maybe then I'll start believing this is happening!

Mrs you're nearly halfway Grin do you feel like it's gone quite quickly?

OP posts:
mascaraisamust · 31/12/2015 10:56

Sunshines, seen another preseed thread. You tried it yet?

OP posts:
sunshinegirl12 · 31/12/2015 11:10

Thanks Mascara, I did try it in the first few months, am currently using conceive plus but will be switching back to preseed again when its done.

Am also sticking with the agnus castus this month as it seemed to help with CM last month, and have added in a probiotic supplement to hopefully get the ph balance right.

Only 12 more days Mascara, bet you can't wait to tell everyone, it must be a hard secret to keep esp over the xmas period x

mrsmugoo · 31/12/2015 11:52

Yes mascara it's gone really quick, especially since my dating scan. Can't believe we will know sex in just 3 weeks!!

Sunshinegirl2015 · 31/12/2015 13:59

We tried conceive plus for four months. Not tried preeseed yet..

Have the forms for cycle day 2-5 bloods and day 21 bloods and DH has a form to get semen analysts done.

Results from my second scan don't mean much. I still have fluid they're not sure why.

Doctor did explain to me though that you ovulate and then you bleed 14 days later and I tried to explain that I had a 9 day LP this month as she was adamant I must have ovulated earlier even though I said I used opks, monitored BBT and CF she was having none of it lol.

So I'm going to get day 21 tests done 7days after I ovulate is this right? I don't have to book here either just turn up at the pathology lab and get a test done there and then.
