Yes at 10 weeks my sickness basically stopped overnight and I'm pretty sure that's the placenta taking over.
It feels like forever until I can share the news. No scan appointment yet as my booking in isn't until this Thursday - they'll send off for it then. I don't even exist as an antenatal patient until then!

Sunshinegirl2015 · 17/11/2015 22:41

Hey sunshine I'm CD28/8DPO. Temp has dropped last few days so think I'm out. Felt on and off like AF was coming today but holding out for another 12day LP like last month. Shortest LP was 9days.

Mascara what was the new gel thing in the end?

Mrsmugoo that's great that you're feeling better. Think I'd do the same weaning myself off.

Mrsunsure good luck for Thursday xx

mascaraisamust · 18/11/2015 20:12

No idea what the gel is yet. Called gynae for more cyclogest and got told to call gp. They haven't called back Hmm so I'll have to call in the morning. Want to ask about the amount of vitamin d I'm taking too! Thinking I should cut down!

Sunshine, hopefully you will know either way soon, I hate all the waiting about, maybe I'm just impatient Confused fingers crossed

Mrs thinking of you, hope you are ok x

Ah Mrs. I've not told the midwife either, going to wait until 6 weeks this time. Probably get an appointment at at about 8 weeks then. Got my early scan the week before xmas on the 17th Dec, it can't come quick enough! But between now and then busy, busy, busy...

Hope you are all ok, you've gone quiet. Where's everyone at? Is there only sunshine in the tww?

mrsmugoo · 18/11/2015 20:31

I've got my booking in appointment tomorrow and I'm starting to get really nervous about my scan. I'm back to feeling completely normal again and I'm thinking irrational thoughts of getting bad news :(

I just want it all over and done with.

Bloody hormones.

iamabear · 18/11/2015 20:40

I'm still here, I love reading all of your updates.

Mrsmugoo and mascara it's exciting hearing about your booking in appointments and scans.

sunshinegirl2015 shame your temperature is on it's way down. I do find it's best to take temps and have the heads up so there is no nasty surprise when AF arrives.

sunshinegirl12 you said you thought OV was on it's way? FX.

I've had a nightmare day. Went to the sexual health clinic and didn't even consider needing change for parking. Didn't have enough and it was an ANPR one so I panicked. Tried calling the payment line but it kept saying my credit card number was invalid (definitely their system's problem and not my card). I then went in to the security desk and he said if I'd been in the car park less then 10 mins then I could just leave and not get fined.

So I left without having my tests done, and in hindsight think I was faffing for longer than 10 mins so am waiting for a parking fine too Sad.

On the plus side I think I'll OV in the next few days after all so the b vits haven't messed with it too much, will just have to wait and see whether they have an effect on my LP. After reading your experiences though I'm not expecting much.

Take care all.

sunshinegirl12 · 18/11/2015 20:57

Ah Mrs, try to stay positive, I know its easy for me to say but you've no reason to think bad thoughts, you've no symptoms as the placenta has taken over, you've had an early scan and all was ok.

Think I'm on CD 10 so gearing up to ovulate, still a negative OPK though I'm not sure why but things feel a bit different this month with a lot more CM than normal. The past month or so I've started eating dairy again and I wonder if I've put on a teeny bit of weight (which for me would be great news) maybe why my boobs might feel fullerBlush and maybe a stronger ovulation. I've also started on Vit C and D3 so could be down to that.

Ah Bear, that does sound like a nightmare you've had, how frustrating that you didn't even get to do the test, fx you won't get a fine.

Mascara, I can imagine it must be almost impossible not to get carried away thinking about baby names, if you'll find out the sex, how many more etc etc (I already have to hold myself back without even seeing a BFP) but not long to go until your scan and then you can get planning all that sort of lovely stuff. Smile

Mrsunsure, thinking of you tomorrow. Let us know how you are. Flowers xx

My day 21 pg was 1 too Mascara My cycles are long though, so it was way before ov for me anyway. I'm going to have to see what Clomid does for me. Have also started my prescription of high dose Vitamin D from the docs so I'm hoping that will help too.

I'm so sorry for your loss Mrsunsure This whole thing is so cruel at times x

MrsC2013 · 19/11/2015 17:53

Just catching up on the posts-

Sunshine and Mrs- I've been taking Vitex/ Agnus Castus for 5 months to shorten my cycles and help ov, which it has done. I've been pleased with it but as you say, there are lots of pros and cons from different stories online. I didn't see the harm in trying it as my cycles were messed up anyway.

Hope your scan went well Mrsmugoo

SharyBobbins · 19/11/2015 18:48

Hi ladies, just catching up with you all. Mrs, I hope you are okay Flowers Mascara, how are you? CD16 here so nothing to report as it's still early days with my cycle. Big week next week though, OH is dropping off his SA & I have my gynae appointment Confused

mrsmugoo · 19/11/2015 19:07

It was just a booking appointment today but my scan request has been faxed to the hospital sonography department so I should get a date through soon!

sunshinegirl12 · 19/11/2015 19:10

Mrsunsure, glad today is over and done with for you, hope you're ok.

MrsC, when do you take Vitex, just before ovulation or your whole cycle?

CD11 for me and just got my smiley OPK. Wink DH is going to call up tomorrow for his SA results, we haven't heard anything from them so fx its good news. I've been trying to distract myself this month with planning a trip for early next year, its somewhere we would never go with a little one, but as much as I'm desperate to go there there's still a part of me thinking what if I'm pregnant by then. Having a baby is our priority but I don't want to feel like I'm missing out of making the most of life while we are waiting. Its so hard not to put life on hold while ttc. Confused

mascaraisamust · 19/11/2015 20:07

I said you'd all gone quiet and today it's comments galore! Lovely to hear from you all! Where to start...

mrsm its natural to worry but you've had pretty full on symptoms until now, I've got to agree with Sunshine that you should start to feel better now so try to relax, get your feet up and enjoy. Hoping your scan comes quickly for you.

iambear what a day but fingers crossed for a strong ov!

sunshine12 hope you get that positive soon and that this is the month. Those symptoms sound promising, I'm all for the vitamin c and d! Remember calcium helps the vitamin d absorb, without the calcium youre not going to get much from it. Exciting about your trip too, you can't out you life on hold but no doubt as soon as you book it you'll get that bfp Wink

mrsunsure I'm glad today went ok, been thinking of you. Take it easy and I think a relaxed approach is a good strategy.

mrsc another vitamin d taker. When are you due to start clomid? Have they considered progesterone, Mrs and I got a BFP first month on it.

shary next week is a positive thing, it will be interesting to here what the gynae says. Remember to bombard them with your facts! And get them to take action.

Nothing to really report here. GP has prescribed cyclogest (the same one who said they couldn't but now can after the gynae gave me it). So I've got it until 12 weeks. Not got my private prescription as the cyclogest appears to be working and I don't want to change halfway through. Still taking folic and my vitamin D, asked about it being a high dose and she said I needed to carry on. No symptoms here apart from soreness, this make me nervous but ita out of my control. 5 weeks on Saturday so it's still early days for me.

MrsC2013 · 19/11/2015 23:25

Sunshine I take 1000mg of Vitex daily all the way through my cycle. Read a lot online that say to take it all the way through and others that said to stop at ov. To me though, it makes sense to be on it continously as it'a supporting the hormones so I wouldn't want to come off when I need help with prog after ov too.

I'm due to start Clomid in January mascara Should get the prescription next month but expecting AF the week before so will have to wait for the following cycle which, due to being long, may be mid to late Jan! Just glad to finally be doing something now.

MrsC2013 · 19/11/2015 23:27

They haven't mentioned prog yet, except for it being low on day 21, but this was a while before ov for me anyway due to long cycles. I think I might need it and will probably mention it at the appointment next month, though she'll be prescribing the Clomid then so I'm not sure if she'll want to try one cycle of just that first.

mrsmugoo · 20/11/2015 05:46

Mrs C the "day 21" test is supposed to measure your peak progesterone level which is at 7 days post ovulation. If you have long cycles and hadn't even ovulated on day 21 the results would be meaningless and of course, low! My god the NHS are so clueless when it comes to fertility.

They cannot draw any conclusions from this :(

Ah Mrsunsure, hope you start to feel better soon. Glad you have a nice holiday to look forwards to and hopefully give yourself a good rest. I will wait until this AF arrives to book so then if I do get lucky the most I would be is 9 weeks (i don't know if I'm being a bit naive thinking thats an ok time to go?!)

I have had a positive OPK today and yesterday, so rang up today to book my day 21 bloods for next Friday (for 7dpo) but they had absolutely nothing available for friday so I'm booked in Thursday morning, not sure how being a bit early with the test will affect the results or if its even worth it if they aren't going to be accurate.Confused

Sunshine, how are you getting on? x

mascaraisamust · 20/11/2015 19:47

Ah jealous of your impending holidays!

I've got mouth ulcers Sad what can I take?! Not sure what I'm allowed to use... Chapped lips too. Rundown I think...

OP posts:
mrsmugoo · 20/11/2015 20:43

Stinking cold here and can't take anything! Would murder a lemsip :(

Look after yourself mascara. Gargle with salt water for ulcers?

Officially having to unbutton my jeans past 7pm now ooooh shit!

sunshinegirl12 · 21/11/2015 18:08

How is everyone today? Mascara and MrsMugoo, hope you start feeling better soon.

Mrsunsure, hope you are doing ok.

I'm 1DPO today (CD13), already feels like a ridiculously long cycle. x

mrsmugoo · 21/11/2015 18:29

Still feeling coldy and under the weather and it's been a long day as my DH had to go to London for work today so no sick day for me, a day running around after DS not really what I needed :(

I can definitely notice the start of a bump as of today. It's the first time my jeans have been tight even first thing in the morning. A LOT earlier than last time!!

GinFuzz · 21/11/2015 18:42

Hello, please can I join you all? I have a nine day LP and due to test on Thursday.

sunshinegirl12 · 21/11/2015 19:16

Ah MrsMugoo, thats a good sign with your little bump, I can't wait for the day I have my own.

Welcome GinFizz, how long have you been ttc? x
