We've been fannying around ttc#2 for a while now, and I'm starting to feel deflated

What do you think? Have you tried it? Doing it? Can we even do that much shagging?

Failing that, can you kick me up the arse to cheer me up?

Bug Did you use conceive plus everytime you BD? I am on day 3 of smep but my order of conceive plus won't be here until Thursday. Do you insert it or just use it as a lubricant? Keeping everything crossed for you, keep us updated!!

village I used it every time as a lubricant. It came in a bottle rather than applicator. We used lube normally so we just carried on using something that didn't have spermicide in it. It probably doesn't make a huge difference until just before and during ovulation x

Mimi Sorry to hear Af is on the way She's a bitch & i'm sick to death of her in my house. I know the feeling, it's been 17 months for me. This is my first month properly doing SMEP though, and i'm taking pre pregnancy vitamins plus my conceive plus lubricant arrived in the post today. Hoping this makes a difference & I get my long awaited BFP. Do you mind me asking how long you have used the SMEP approach?

Good luck everyone. AF is due on Sunday and i've been getting really sharp pains on the right side of my ovaries which I don't think can be a good sign. I completely agree with you mimi, it's taking it's tole on me too. I broke down at my acupuncturist yesterday and he reassured me that every couple gets there in the end! This will have been my third cycle on SMEP and using conceive plus. Think a month off TTC next month might be in order as well!

Morning everyone. An update from me! I've took a test this morning and got a faint positive. Took another and it was the same! So fingers crossed this is good news. Will test again tomorrow before we head off on our weekend break :-) X

Wow, Cam HUGE congratulations!!! That certainly looks like a line to me. How many days past ovulation are you? This gives me hope, as it's my first month doing SMEP and using conceive plus! Please keep us updated.

Thanks!! I'm being cautiously optimistic! I cannot concentrate at all at work though...keep staring off into space thinking about it. I'm 12 DPO. Tested on 10dpo and got a BFN which upset me. The only reason I tested his morning was to rule myself out so I could drink beer in Brussels this weekend! This is month 11 TTC and cycle 3 on SMEP, so definitely hang in in there

Thanks. Just spoke to my husband who was asleep this morning and we've agreed to keep it to ourselves until next week in case. This was third month SMEP and month 11 TTC bug

That is an interesting question,when do u tell pple.(so much excitement mixed with a bit of fear) hmm.

I know it's so strange! I felt a bit foolish earlier when I googled what do you do after a positive pregnancy test. Seems like advice was wait until after the date you are due AF so you are 'late' and then book in to see a GP. I think I'll book one on Monday when I'm back from my weekend away.

cam I also had to google what to do! I have been testing every day as AF isn't due until Sunday . I still am a bit crampy and also have a horrible cold but don't know if that's related. How about you?

That's so funny bug that we're on exactly the same dates! I've got cramps and a runny nose but no nausea. I have got sore boobs but I had that the last two months so didn't think anything of it. I tested with a different brand when I got home and had a solid second line so felt confident to call my mum and tell her. I'm going to call the doctor on Monday when I'm back and book in!

Hi all, I've been lurking and sending you silent fairy dust!

I just want to add hope for you all. Using SMEP helped me to get my two gorgeous girls. I was told I had a 5% chance of ever being pregnant naturally me with a combination of SMEP and pre seed I have been pregnant 4 times (1 mc and 1 chemical preg + 2 DD)
It works, just keep going! It look us 5 years together our 2, but my odds were very poor!
