We've been fannying around ttc#2 for a while now, and I'm starting to feel deflated

What do you think? Have you tried it? Doing it? Can we even do that much shagging?

Failing that, can you kick me up the arse to cheer me up?

Hope your scan goes well All. Are they looking for something in particular or is it exploratory? I'm due AF between Tue and Thu. Don't feel pregnant at all (I knew before I took the HPT last time) so looking forward to cycle two of Smep. Hopefully will do it properly this time and life won't get in the way so much! Looking forward to 1st Dec too - that's when I'm officially allowed to start feeling Christmassy! Will be having wine or a BFP in early December!

We have not been particularly good at smepping either this month. Got a few goes in around the important times though, so fx.

Guess they are looking for any damage from a surgery/complication I had whilst pregnant last time and I suppose just to have a look at it all. It says "Pelvic Ultrasound". I'm hoping that's not the one that goes ~ahem~ inside

We are putting our tree up tomorrow ~festivedance~ DH wants us all to do it as a family, so tomorrow it is!

If I'm not pregnant, I shall drag DH underneath all the trees with mistletoe in them and make him kiss me until I am. Not really sure what else to try

Hello again smeppers! I am crossing all my fingers and toes over here because I'm 12dpo with AF due tonight, no BFP but no spotting/AF either. Got a frer at the ready for if I'm late!

Oh no All - the things women have to go through Hope it's just a plain old through your tummy ultrasound and nothing too ... ahem... intimate! Sounds exciting Queen - any news? I'm holding off testing until Thursday (so tempted by the FRER I have tucked away) but fully expect AF Tues or Weds. I'm going to make an effort to do a bit of romancing the old DH this month (as well as making him stick ridgidly to SMEP too of course!).

Still no BFP or AF

Very uncomfortable tummy tonight though, all churny and nauseous! Mild cramps though so guess it is just AF preparing to turn up.

Twelve DPO today, but I've got my usual period pain so think it's just a waiting game. Hate hate hate waiting!

Me too :( slightly ahead of you at 14dpo and (usually) a 12 day luteal phase! All tests bfn so have accepted AF is coming, just wish she would hurry up!

Gah, I managed to trip over and have badly damaged a muscle in my shoulder - meaning I can barely move one arm. Which has coincided with the flashing smiley faces. I'm thinking this might not be my month

Yay! Congratulations! We managed to follow Smep mostly this cycle and AF due New Year's Day. How is everyone else getting on?

Hi Bugmuncher, we've followed the plan for two consecutive months without success but hoping this month will be third time lucky for us! I'm on CD6 so let's see!

Oh wow Cam how have you found it? We're more of a once or twice a week couple so I hope I don't find it too much DTD every other day x

Hie bug and cam.if im not mistaken guess got a bfp too.so it's worth the try.unfortunately for me af came on cd19,don't know why so now am on cd5 and want to try again.good luck everyone.cam how long are your cycles ?bug what cd are u on ?

Sorry to hear that mimi do you usually have short cycles? I am on CD 13 but my last cycle was 40 days so it might take us a while!

My cycles are usually 27-28 days but ever since ttc ,they are getting shorter with last cycle the shortest.dtd eod is hard but let's give it a try and see.im on cycle 7 so getting really frustrated.hope we have luck on our side this new year bug!

It is quite exhausting but at least I can feel assured that I've done every I can to give us the best chance each month! I have had a positive ovulation test on days 13 the last two months, so the every other day hasn't been too long into the month.

We've been TTC for 7 months now and I found this month really tough when AF arrived on boxing day. I think I had been holding out for a christmas miracle and found it really frustrating after reading so many success stories about SMEP. But feeling more positive this week - just got to keep on going...

Oh and Mimi I had a similar short cycle about four months back. I started my cycle again and it's been back to normal since so hopefully yours will sort itself out. It's frustrating though when you're ticking down those days
