Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2458534-Prtys-Gang-and-The-Festival-of-Foof-Fun-when-they-not-being-cray-cray?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Caved and tested tonight. Bit daft. BFN.

Im starting to hate that dark pink control line as much as the sodding blank window next to it. Although I swear the area where the BFP would come up was whiter than the sodding test strip.

Bah.

Sad
MrsKittenPie · 10/11/2015 22:42

mummy - sorry for bfn Flowers
I hate the pink control line and bright blank space next to it too. I hate it all, I hate trying to convince myself there's ever a faint line (there never ever is) Sad
Fingers crossed for you still though

glitterpoppy · 11/11/2015 07:49

Sorry for the BFN bex, yes I too hate that control line, holding the test in all different directions to see if I can see a faint line.. Totally rubbish!!

More baby bombs for me yesterday, the friend I know who got married before me who announced her pregnancy the other week was updating again as she'd gone for a gender scan. Think I need to give Facebook a wide berth for a while..

MummyBex1985 · 11/11/2015 08:05

Lol I do both, holding the test in every direction with the hope of finding a squinter!! At least it's not just me that's bonkers.

Going to try with FMU on Friday and then write this cycle off I think.

Sorry about the latest baby bombs.

Sad
MrsKittenPie · 11/11/2015 08:06

glitter - yes definitely give it a wide berth. I've never been on Facebook but from what I've heard it's just full of scan pictures and announcements - would be my idea of hell!
I'm pleased to say my app with my chart on has said this morning I ovulated! It's a big plus for me as I don't think I have ovulated for the last couple of cycles! I'll try and attach a pic

MrsFlowers82 · 11/11/2015 08:20

Sorry for the BFNs and latest baby bombs.

I have inadvertently agreed to host a get-together for my uni friends in December for our annual festive meet up...including the friend who baby bombed me by text a few weeks ago. She will no doubt announce it to everyone else and I will have to coo and ahhh and be all pleased. To say I am dreading it is an understatement Sad

CD28 for me and more cramps. I usually spot for a few days before AF (always calculate it as a 32 day cycle starting from first day of real bleed) so expecting that to kick in today or tomorrow Angry

BittersweetRose · 11/11/2015 11:10

CD22 dawns and I'm out. I f*ing forgot how short my cycles used to be are. 21 days is really about two to three days early though. I thought we did so well, timing wise, on this cycle too. NM, back to DTD from around Sunday onwards, I guess.

Thanks to the arrival of AF, my mental health is through the floor today. It took me fully 30 minutes to talk myself into putting clothes on to go to work. I'm doing ok now I'm here, but really not sure if I'm strong enough for this TTC lark... really wishing DH and I didn't want kids right now.

MrsKittenPie · 11/11/2015 13:00

mrsflowers - I totally get how you're feeling about that get together. I absolutely dread situations like that where you have to put that fake smile on and coo over the news, it's absolutely vile CakeFlowers. Fingers crossed your spotting doesn't appear and you have your bfp in the next few days though.
rose - big hugs for you lovely. I know how devastating af arrival is, glad you're doing okay now though, just allow yourself some time, try and have a relaxing evening. It's utter shit though, I hate ttc so much. You're one cycle closer to your bfp, keep telling yourself that xx

hippybird · 11/11/2015 13:11

Hi all! prty good to know you're still alive, sorry you're still feeling low. I swear it's heading into these Winter months too that is making us all more low than normal!! But YAY for the positive OPK!! Go for it like dog on heat!!

Bex sorry about the BFN!! I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that examines that blank space with ridiculous scrutiny!!

Flowers sorry that you're not feeling hopeful. Remember, you're not out yet!!

Well, guess what news I just had!? A huge nuclear baby bomb!! My sister is pregnant with her forth, after having sex ONCE unprotected!!! I'm sorry to even share this news with all of you. It is so freaking annoying!! I'm happy for her any everything, but really, WTF!! Anyway. I just hope I'll be able to join her soon. I hope we all will be in the BFN club soon!!

hippybird · 11/11/2015 13:14

P.S. Rose sorry about the arrival of the witch too!! I sympathise, I also have a short cycle (I got mine on day 23 this cycle! I know we should be pleased that we have more chances I suppose, but it makes me worry it's unsustainable for a pregnancy to "take". But apparently it is within the normal range. Just means more disappointments as far as I'm concerned!

MrsFlowers82 · 11/11/2015 13:14

Hi Rose. I am sorry you are out for this month lovely. Remember you are not alone in feeling like this; we all understand how absolutely, devastatingly crap it can be. Give yourself some time, have some Wine, have some Cake and indulge yourself for the next few days. Then you can come back all refreshed ready for the next cycle.

Even though I am positive that AF is on her way it hasn't stopped me from reading a week-by-week pregnancy countdown all morning. It's like I am torturing myself on purpose!

funnybeanz · 11/11/2015 15:18

Hi all, just catching up whilst I'm on holiday. Sorry to hear of your sister''s baby bomb hippy - that must be difficult. Happy for her but difficult to take at the same time. My latest baby bomb was yesterday, my cousin is pregnant with her first, she has been trying for 2 ish years so I have to be happy for her. Very envious though!
Hold tight all those on the tww thi's cold be the one. Hope those for whom af has made an unwanted appearance are coping OK and being gentle to themselves it's OK to feel shit I think! This is all just too frustrating sometimes....
Back to my book and cocktail!

SharyBobbins · 11/11/2015 15:53

We're all so down Sad I'd love to come & sprinkle some positivity but I have none! I've conceded that I'm not going to get a BFP until I'm having some sort of medical intervention (clomid maybe) so I'm counting myself out until the New Year at least. Think I'm going to be less precious about drinking the odd glass of wine. I've had nothing since January (I hardly drink to be fair) but if I go to a party and I'm not ovulating around that time then I don't really see what different it'll make to me Wine

SharyBobbins · 11/11/2015 15:54

*difference

BittersweetRose · 11/11/2015 16:28

Thanks everyone. Have got as far as Cake and Brew, but no Wine until later when I'm home from work.

I've been feel bad all day for being so freaked out when this is only cycle #2 (if I even count the first one off the coil as #1) - so many of you have been at this much longer than me and it seems like you are holding it together so much better than me. It's really hard not to beat myself up about being so down today!

MrsFlowers82 · 11/11/2015 16:56

Shary I only stop drinking during TWW. I am already going mad from TTC and to deny myself a glass or two of wine would seriously push me over the edge!

Rose don't feel bad. It is amazing how quickly and deeply it gets to you!

glitterpoppy · 11/11/2015 19:41

Ooh beanz I don't know if I've missed it but where are you? I'm jealous.. Live holidays!!

Sorry to hear about the baby bomb hippy.. Happy for your sister but annoying!

I'm cd50 today Sad got abit of a pain in my side.. Hoping AF is here soon and so can get on with my next cycle!!

I've had another baby bomb today too, luckily nobody too close to me it's a couple my DH works with. They've announced they're having twins.. I'm desperate for one and they get two!!! Unfair!

glitterpoppy · 11/11/2015 19:41

*love holidays

MrsFlowers82 · 12/11/2015 08:57

Baby bombed hard this morning. Colleague. Got married six months after me. As well as feeling annoyed that she managed it so quickly I am now feeling resentful; feel like my face will be rubbed in it everyday. Also got the usual "when are you going to have a baby?" questions. Really fed up now. Just want it to be my turn!!

MrsKittenPie · 12/11/2015 11:54

Sorry for the baby bombs Sad. mrsflowers - that's so rubbish - I bet you will feel resentful. I had a colleague back in January who was pregnant and she went on and on and on - in the end I confided in her we were ttc and had been for a number of months in the hope she would have some sensitivity but no she asked me to go baby clothes shopping instead! Because that really helped how shit I was feeling Hmm. Hers was a 'surprise' pregnancy - oops how did that happen kind. I'm glad she's on maternity leave now. I know I sound bitter - I am after so long ttc.
So how is everyone else today? Who is poas this weekend? I'm 5dpo today so very boring here.... The craziness will kick in next week - but this month I've temped for the first time so will know there's no need to poas as my temperature plummets

MrsFlowers82 · 12/11/2015 13:38

Kitten that is hideous! I already feel like punching the next person who tells me they are PG, if someone asked me to go baby clothes shopping I would completely loose it!! ShockGrin

No POAS for me. Still no spotting but CM has dried up so even more sure that AF is on her way.

Gonna start my temping after Xmas. Feel it will help with the crazy last few days before AF - even though I know that I am not PG has not stopped me fantasising! How are you getting on with it?

SharyBobbins · 12/11/2015 15:41

All these baby bombs!! Shock

MrsKittenPie · 12/11/2015 17:44

mrsflowers - I know - it was horrendous! I am definitely nearly at the punching stage too!
You're not out then if no spotting - fingers crossed for you. When is af due?
Temping is good - it drove me a bit crazy at first when temps were up and down but then it gave me an ovulation date so I was pleased with that. It'll make a difference seeing my temp go down rather than staring at negative tests this month as when they go down it'll mean I don't need to bother wasting my time with the tests! It should definitely help with the crazy Smile

neetie1 · 12/11/2015 18:00

Hey all god I feel sorry for my class when af is here I am such a cow lol
Have ordered internet cheapie OPK and a thermometer will try temps for a month and see how I go then I might just not do anything for a month and see how it goes.
Will need some help with the temping not sure when to do where to record it etc
throws in large selection box for everyone to enjoy -but mine's the maltesters--
