I'm waiting now to hear back from the labour ward. I might be going down soon to be induced.

I'm definitely pregnant the Dr has confirmed it - booked into see him next Thursday where he will take my bloods etc and refer me to the cmt

Definitely not sat here constantly refreshing the page waiting for an update on baby cupcake

Woo great news iamdid they say how long the wait will be?

No the receptionist said the Dr will have an idea. I'll be 6+1 on Thursday so probably a few weeks anyway, they like you to be 8+ here

Right well... Doctor came to examine and put a propess in but there was an emergency and he's rushed off.
So I'm having that done at around 5:15 now
I hope the propess makes me dilate n have contractions fast!
With DS I was having painful contractions and on gas and air within 12 hours, but it could work sooner this time round. We shall see!

My friend had that Cupcake- she had SPD too- and they used it instead of a pessary. She had a pretty quick labour with it- 10 hours.

What is a propess? Never heard of that before. Eagerly awaiting updates as I will be in same position in about 9 weeks

Had planned on an evening of crap TV tonight but think I'll be preoccupied with Cupcake's live birth story - might even have to have a

It's in :) on monitor for 20 more mins then I can walk and roam free! I'm allowed in the pool only for early labour pains I'm not allowed in for established labour of birth but I'm ok with that :)

He said because I've been having regular braxton hicks it may not take long to work but it could take 12 hours.

N a propess is a paper thing soaked in a hormone that get slowly released to dilate me :s my water will be broke as soon as I'm about 1-2 cm dilated! Come on baby!!!! :D

Take lots of pics cupcake! I always wished I took more.

DH took loads of photos from the minute we went into the room. I get increasingly irritated lookng in them because he was telling me to smile and I was in pain. Me walking round, leaning against the wall, scowling, suckng gas and air, scowling, talking to the midwife , drinking water, coming out of the bathroom. Nothing I would ever want to see again.

Then when DS was born he was so overwhelmed he hardly took any for about an hour and then we took a lot.

Funeral went well and he is taking his other grandma out for lunch tomorrow with SIL and BIL then coming home.

DS is watching TV - Great British Bake-off Masterclass- no idea why but it is fascinating him.
