Shiny new thread and this time I got the title right!

We're all waiting for baby cupcake to come along

Are you in your own room?

No Lulu I'm in a bay on a ward.
Where all they newborn babies are :( u can hear them all crying. And see them in the family room. They are all so tiny!

Oh I hate it in hospital when you are stuck with noise especially at night. Still, you will be hearing your own newborn baby enough in the next few hours/days.

What sort of night have you had?

I know Lulu, luckily I haven't had regular check ups as there is technically nothing wrong with me so they let me sleep last night. But there's an awful beeping noise constantly going on.
I slept okay tho. Can't complain.
And yes so glad it's nearly time for him to be hear :)

So so so sooooooo proud of my DS!!!! :)
Just received a text from exH and DS slept from 7:30pm till 6:30am!!!! :D how amazing is that! He's such a good boy and I'm so proud of him :) just hope he's as good for my mom tonight as he's with her tonight

Your last section wasn't planned was if? I've heard good things about planned sections

At our local hospital in the maternity suite, most of the rooms are private with their own bathroom - were really lucky like that here. I was in with hg last time and I was in a ward but there were only 2 beds in it and I was alone until about an hour before I was discharged.

I know ducky I'm so pleased with DS!
Tho it's weird knowing exH was in my house last night. But it obviously was a good decision for DS.

Yes DS is coming this evening to see me and we are going to go up to the restaurant and have dinner together :) then he'll go home with my mom.
My last csection was emergency after 2 days of labour! So as I've not laboured apparently a planned csection is a lot less dramatic and recovery is better so I've heard. I'm more scared of the recovery tho, I was very bad last time.

When I was in for induction I was on the Mac, they put me on a ward with 2 other beds but after reading my notes gave me a private room. Strange your with babies.

Do you have a time for the c sec?

I've heard good things about them, I looked into a planned c sec a lot as I had the options of induction or c sec but I'm terrified of surgery so opted for induction I'm a right wimp when it comes to that

It's mixed like, the top end of the ward is where all the babies are and the bottom end is all is pregnant ones lmao!
But u can hear all the babies crying.
Well the doctor has seen me and I'm going for a scan tomorrow morning to officially determine baby's position, if he's moved head down I'll be induced straight away, if he's still transverse they want a csection tomorrow, or Saturday at the latest. Depending on how many emergencies happen that day. So he'll be here tomorrow or Saturday :) can't wait!!!!!

It's so exciting! Really hope he's moved for you

Are there many people on the ward with you?

The ward is full, there's loads here. But there 4 of us in a bay.
It's rele busy here tho, been waiting since 10am to go on a monitor and for someone to have a quick feel to see where baby is

Hope they get round to you soon. The waiting around really sucks. At least your not alone

Nothing worse than just sitting waiting! We've been for a walk today so jut relaxing now before I make dinner. Boobs are tingling today. Hoping to hear from the drs tomorrow with confirmation and appt date.

Oo, no news from cupcake for a while, wonder if that means things have started moving!

DS has a cold and cough so I am staying at home and DH is going to the funeral. FIL should not really be with colds and coughs because of his immune system. DH is going to come home on Saturday morning. So it is me and DS from now until then.

Will they give you a provisional time? Or is it just when they can get you in? Will exh be coming in with you?

Ducky I'm not sure about DS missing me! he's having the time of his life :) he seems to be rele enjoying himself. I'm just so shocked at how grown up and well behaved he's been these few days.
As for the csection I will get an estimated time when I'll have it, but it'll all depend on emergency ones how close to that time I'll go in. And yes exH is coming into theatre with me, he wants to cut the cord so only way he's able to. Tho he hates blood and he never came in with DS 2 years ago

I've ordered him a new toy from Argos that I've told my DM to pick up on the way to hospital to see his new brother and I'm going to let his baby brother give it him. And say it's from him for being a new big brother :)

Ha, when I went into hospital to have DS, DD stayed at home with Grandma. DD enjoyed it so much she kept asking if I was going to hospital again
