Shiny new thread and this time I got the title right!

We're all waiting for baby cupcake to come along

Hi. We were discharged a few hours later from the hospital after baby was born so have been home since. It worked out pretty well because we put the kids to bed before we left and had the baby and were back before they woke up. They were over the moon.
We are doing ok, just getting used to the routine and getting used to a baby again.

I've been so tired all day as well
Tonight's no better DS1 is so poorly and temps so high he's hallucinating in his sleep he keeps waking up and saying things and then cries and falls back to sleep.
Don't dare put him in his own bed tonight. :(

Wow sunny!! That's like the perfect way to have a baby! u timed that perfectly!

Oh no cupcake! Has he been Drs recently to get a check over? Poor thing seems to have one thing after another.

Nope not been to the doctors again only because I've taken both kids once or more a week for a while now
They will most likely say a virus :/

I also had a bad night again too :( running on empty now I'm so so tired. DS2 slept from 9:30 till 7am!! He's such an amazing sleeper!
But DS1 woke up almost every 10 mins to cough and ask for his drink.

No ducky didn't tell them I was in labour so they got a lovely surprise when they woke up the next morning. It was really cute, seeing their reaction.

Aw bless them sunny I bet they loved waking up to that news!

DS1's eyes are droopy and red. A that normal with a cold??

I'm so done :( :( if I don't get sleep soon I'm not going to be able to function :( :(
DS1 has been up all night coughing and because he's coughing he's being sick everywhere yet again :(
Why is he so ill all the time? I don't get it :(
What should I do? Take him doctors? Or will they just say 'he's a toddler so will catch all sorts' cuz he's seriously ill every week, he has a day where he's better then boom! Another illness the day after.
His stupid stupid dad won't have any of the kids at night to give me a break either!
All I get is 'why don't u get a job like me then you'll see why it's important for me to sleep' I have a job! It's called being on maternity leave from that job because looking after children is harder than work !
Sorry for the rant. I'm just at my whits end :(
Got my docs appt next week to prescribe me medication as well.

Oh no cupcake I have no idea about the eye, try 111? I would take him to the Drs though, just say he's constantly ill. Surely that's not normal. Is he on vitamins or anything? And as for your ex, what an absolute idiot. You should say 'you should try being a parent then you'll see why I need sleep'. He makes me so angry

My h has been 'trying' harder, but I'm past it now, I just can't be happy with him. I'm trying to organise somewhere I can go but it's so difficult because I have my dog too. I think not next week (he's off) but the week after I'm going to try and arrange a solicitor appointment just so I can get some more advice. I did have a solicitor but he is near impossible to contact and takes forever to reply.

It's all so stressful. I'm just worried about his reaction when it all comes out.

How's ds1 doing cupcake?

My ds has been poorly too. He's had a reaction, no clue to what. He's been unsettled all day, his eczema is all bright red and has been sick with the runs he's just watching in the night garden then I'm going to make an attempt at bed time

Got advised to give DS1 vitamin drops. So far he won't take them !
He's still feeling ill currently trying to get him to sleep.

Ds is awful with vitamin drops too! Could you sneak them in a drink? Although I tried them and they are awful.

I have no idea cupcake. I have a few contacts I'm trying but I need somewhere to go before I tell him. Some days I can't wait, others I feel like shit as I've been with him 9 years. Why does it have to be so hard

Can u do that? Cuz it said on the box to make sure the drops go to the back of the throat as it can corrode teeth

It's the right thing waiting till u have somewhere to go ducky. And u and DS need to be happy. If ur not happy DS won't be either. So ur doing the right thing for u both. Big hugs ducky xx

Thanks cupcake. I just hope I get it sorted soon. I hate to think of ds growing up in this atmosphere.

Oh I don't know about the vitamin drops. Ds had some that could be put in his drink too. Or have you tried a different kind? You can get them chewy ones which are really nice

Might have to look for those vitamins then as he won't take his drops at all.

And he's been Coughing and forcing it out him all evening and night making himself sick over and over! Why force it? He's making himself so ill he's throwing up nothing anymore! It's like water!
I don't get why he's doing it :( I'll have to take him to A&E if he carries on and I just can not cope anymore :(
I am doing all this on my own. Hardly seen my mom as she just booked a wedding so is more involved in that so I've not seen or spoken to her and I could rele do with Her help. Maybe just have DS1 for a night.
DS2 is no bother he sleeps 10:30/11 till 7am
He's fine.
But since Tuesday I've been up nearly all night every night with DS2 coughing and throwing up :(

Awful ducky :( he's still not sleeping. Got an app on Thursday to see if there's anything I can do about his sleep.

Has he got over his stomach bug? Don't let them fob you off, tell them you know people who have been referred to sleep consultants, that's the only thing that worked for me. They told me they didn't exist until I said someone I know had been referred.

Ds sleep has been quite bad still. Last night though I don't remember anything. I woke up and his monitor was off so I must have been up in the night without realising which scares me.

At first I jumped out of bed because I changed his sleeping bag and it kind of blends in with his sheets, it was dark and I couldn't see him so I thought I had fallen asleep with him on the bed and he must have wandered off, I almost had a heart attack!

I've sent her a message, I'll let u know if she responds. So hope she's okay.

I broke down this evening whilst cooking dinner. I'm exhausted and I don't understand why his tantrums have got so bad and why he just won't sleep. I'm just desperate for a good nights sleep!

Oh no, hope the Drs can give you some answers on Thursday. I moan on but you are there looking after two yourself. You are doing such a great job.

I have no idea if I am sleep walking. It has really worried me. I used to sleep walk quite badly, I also used to suffer from frequent sleep paralysis which stopped when I got pregnant with dd but I randomly had an episode of it the other day so really hope all that crap isn't starting again

Thank ducky, it's nice to hear that as haven't rele heard any one tell me I'm doing a good job since splitting up with exH. Always worry I'm not doing well
It's hard with 2 but I think if I didn't have pnd I'd be a lot better. It'd be easier to handle. So hoping these meds I get Friday help chill me out a bit.

Oh gosh ducky :( that's so scary! I've never had sleep paralysis before but know people who have and it seems terrifying, I hope they doesn't start up for u again.
Not getting much sleep doesn't help either I guess :/ hope u gets DS sleep sorted soon

The sleep paralysis is horrible, but most people say they see/hear horrible things when it happens, I don't, I just see what's there.

Gosh that's still quite scary tho.

She's completely disappeared.

A lot of us have gone. We had Tori, Lill, Steph, Siarie... Lots more of us.
But now I think it's just me u and occasionally sunny left

I know everyone has vanished completely! I often wonder about kitkat, I think it was her that started the thread to begin with wasn't it.

I hope lulu is ok though, it's strange to not hear anything at all from her in this long.

I know :/ I'm worried about her. She always says she has a cup of tea and browses mn on her iPad
