Yes would give 111 a quick call to ask cupcake. Poor ds1, one thing after another.

Lulu the weather always sounds so nice by you, it's grey and miserable here.

Ds has sprouted 4 teeth out in the past few days with a few more about to break through. He had two very runny nappies this morning, am hoping it's because of his teeth and not that he's coming down with something.

I don't know where you get that impression of the weather from Ducky- all I have written about is rain for weeks. But it has been nice today- if very cold. We had a good walk. DS fed the ducks and then we had tea and cake.

We are tucked up at home. DH and BIL are taking his dad to the pub later on and I am having the house to myself. Smile I am going to have a nice long bath with some of the bath stuff I got for Christmas.

Hope DS1 is not feeling too poorly Cupcake. Chickenpox is horrible.

zombiemeow · 27/12/2015 18:00

Ha lulu but you make the rain sound nice too, you paint this cosy picture Smile

Will dh be coming back in a similar fashion to last time? Grin

I've called 111 and the nurse called me back. She's said DS2 will deffo get it as well but she said ive got to be careful because it will make him very ill because he's so young. She said I've got to call and speak to a doctor on Tuesday to get advice and also to check I can give him some paracetamol as she said he will 100% need it :( I don't want him to be rele ill :( DS1 is fine lol! He's not feeling ill at all! He had a temp last night which I thought was weird but obviously it was the chicken pox lol.

Ahh dear me.

LuluJakey1 · 27/12/2015 19:47

He says he is drinking shandy so I hope not. Smile His dad can't drink much because of medication he takes. BIL has only just been forgiven after last time.

DS2 might not get it Cupcake if you are immune to it. He might still have some immunity from you.

DS is in bed asleep. I have just had a bath and am lying on the bed with a glass of cold diet coke and ice in the dark.

Will go downstairs to watch 'Then There Were None'. I thought it was good last night. Quite scarey.

zombiemeow · 27/12/2015 20:21

Oh no cupcake, that's crap. Have you got some of the stuff to put on to help the itching?

A that a movie or tv series lulu?

I am just catching up on the walking dead.

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 27/12/2015 21:27

Oo that glass of Diet Coke sounds yummy Lulu! I've got a glass of shloer ! In a champagne glass because I have no champagne and I got the glasses for Xmas Grin

Yes ducky I've got camomile lotion and some cream called virasooth :)
He's asleep atm.
I've not washed his bedding yet as I thought it's best to wait till his spots scab as I'd be washing the sheets every day. What do u think?

LuluJakey1 · 28/12/2015 00:27

I have watched 2 scary things tonight, both excellent. 'Then There Were None' followed by 'Harry Price Ghost Hunter' . DH came home - sober- half way through the second and tried to persuade me to go to bed but I was too interested in the programme. He is asleep now it is finished. Smile

I would wash the bedding Cupcake if there is any chance of any of the infection being on the scabs. If not, just hoover it. Hoovering beds is good for them anyway.

PIL have asked if I would like to go and stay with them for a few days one week and then DH could come down at the weekend. I think they just want to spend more time with DS. Their house is big enough and they had the top floor converted for DH and me so it has a big bedroom with room for a sofa and tv and an ensuite (it was all DH's attic bedroom) and a study- now a nursery. So I would not be in their way all the time. His dad co-runs a playgroup at the church two mornings a week for children with special needs aged 1-3. He would like to take DS along I think. And I get on well with MIL- we like lots of the same things. I am quite tempted to go. DH thinks I should. They live near the River Aire but where they are hasn't flooded.

zombiemeow · 28/12/2015 07:46

I would wash them cupcake just to be sure Smile did he sleep ok?

When will you be going to pil lulu?

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 29/12/2015 11:53

Are u going to go to pil Lulu?
So would DH stay at home by himself?

Ducky DS1 has slept awful as he's so uncomfortable :( he's super itchy today. I've been putting calamine lotion on him and virasooth on him and he won't stop itching still! :( he looks awful he's covered.
Doctors called today with DS2's results from his swab they took from his eyes and he now has an Infection in both eyes :( :(
Eyes drops for a week now. Honesty it's never ending for both of them. I feel so bad for them

LuluJakey1 · 29/12/2015 13:49

I might go in a few weeks time. Yes DH would stay at home and go to work Smile and come down at the weekend. We would probably come home on the Sundayso PIl could have 5 or 6 days with DS and I would get a little break from DH. Grin MIL is a great cook and FIL is excellent with small children - he was Deputy Head in a primary school that had a nursery attached.

LuluJakey1 · 29/12/2015 16:57

DS is 1 year old tomorrow. Can't quite believe it. He is having a tea party with PIL, grandma, SIL&BIL and us.

Hope DS1 feels better Cupcake.

I haven't felt well today- very tired and shivery. Have slept this afternoon. DH is Dad-in-charge.

zombiemeow · 29/12/2015 18:09

Cupcake, they really are in the wars Sad any sign of ds2 getting chicken pox? I have no idea how quickly these things spread, you can only get it once can't you?

Lulu, that will be a nice break for you. Hope ds has a lovely day tomorrow.

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 29/12/2015 22:22

Aww hope ur DS has a good day tomorrow Lulu :)
DS1 is s bit better most of the spots have scabbed over today.

Ds2 hasn't got the chicken pox yet ducky! I'm shocked! I'm waiting for it to hit any day now. If ds2 gets it now he will get it again apparently. Because he's so young.

Cupcake92 · 29/12/2015 22:25

DS2 looking rather cute :)

April 2014 ttc thread - come on baby cupcake!
zombiemeow · 30/12/2015 06:27

That's a lovely picture! Grin

How long do they have it for? Ds has been awake since 3am. He's just decided to go back to sleep Hmm

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 30/12/2015 09:06

Well the spots take 5 days to properly scab over. Then he stops being infectious and we can actually go out Grin
Not sure how long it takes for the spots to go? Confused I know they are the most itchy when scabbed over.

Gosh 3 am ducky!Shock bet ur tired.
DS2 woke at 4am n asked me to put cream on him. He's since being very destructive and has pulled out every single toy from his toy box..... And there's a lot!!

Happy birthday lulu's DS!!!

zombiemeow · 30/12/2015 21:21

DS2 is having his last bottle now :)
I can't wait for sleep!

I'm off to view a house next week as well :) drove past it today and looks perfect from the outside!

zombiemeow · 31/12/2015 05:33

Ha the dc's.

Hope you got a good night sleep. Is the house close to where you are now?

Ds was so bad last night Sad I just don't know how he does it or what causes him to wake up but it's really making me feel ill.

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 31/12/2015 23:54

Oh haha Grin yes they are okay thanks ducky.
DS woke up again at 2am 😩
And ya a the house is about 2 mins walk from me atm, but it's in the catchment area for the school I want the DC's to go to :)

I know how u feel ducky about the sleep :(
DS1 is being awful arm waking up in the night. DS2 sleeps more than DS1 ! And he's only 9 weeks old!

I'm just waiting at my moms for midnight so I can rush off and go straight to bed! I'm exhausted!

Happy new year everyone :)

zombiemeow · 01/01/2016 06:40

I made it to 11 which is the latest I have stayed up all year Grin

Ds has just been brushing his own teeth as apparently he can do it better than me. He's been doing it the last 5 minutes Hmm

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 01/01/2016 14:04

I was struggling to stay awake ducky Grin
DS1 slept till 7:30am which was just amazing!
DS2 woke at 5:30am and had a bottle and went back to sleep :) so not bad at all for the pair of them.

Aw bless ur DS! I have to fight with DS1 to clean his teeth! He hates it Grin

zombiemeow · 01/01/2016 14:48

That's really good cupcake! When are you going to look at the house?

I think ds has another allergy Sad he spilt black currant baby juice on himself earlier and came out in a big rash.
