Oh I know ducky, it's awful when they are tiny. But it's also awful seeing DS1like it. As he's only young and its scary for him being sick :( he's not been sick for just over 2 hours now. He's sat and watched the minion movie to help him feel better.
I've not gave him anything to eat tonight he's only drank water. He's just fallen asleep on the sofa. I'm gonna leave him there and I'm gonna stay up for a bit just to make sure he's not gonna be sick again, then he can come and sleep in my bed tonight.

Lulu I deffo do need a break and a good sleep. Tho last night was the best night sleep I've had! DS2 slept from 11:30 till 6:30! I think this was because he was feeling poorly tho and must of needed sleep.
Thankfully Lulu I don't have any cigarettes on me and there's no chance of me going to the shop so I won't have one Grin
Oo I've brought DS2 a big floor mat also Lulu, I got his from smyths :) I'm planning on making a sensory corner with it, and put some cusions there etc. DS1 will be able to go and read his books there and nap there and DS1 can lay down and play :)

LuluJakey1 · 02/12/2015 21:44

DH- Would you like a new ironing board for Christmas?
Me- Would you like a punch on the nose on Christmas morning?
DH- I didn't mean as your only present. Would you like one of those extra wide ones so you can iron faster?
Me- Would you like a punch on the nose on Christmas morning?
DH - Is that a no then? ..........D'you fancy an early night?.........Is that a no as well then?..........I'll make you some tea shall I?

zombiemeow · 03/12/2015 08:50

Hahaha lulu! Your dh is hilarious I hope he is and wasn't being serious Grin ds has got a trike for Christmas, it's one of those that you change so it suits them from 9 months until whenever.

Cupcake how are ds's today? Hope the sickness stopped for ds1

OP posts:
LuluJakey1 · 03/12/2015 22:10

He wouldn't buy me an ironing board Smile not as a present anyway.

More miserable weather!

Good to hear DS is getting his teeth Ducky.

Hope your two are feeling better Cupcake.

Cupcake92 · 03/12/2015 23:02

Ds1 is feeling better. Hasn't been sick again but only eaten 1 slice of toast today.
DS2 has got worse n coughing a lot lol but seems okay in himself.

Lulu I'd quite like a funky ironing board cover tbh! Grin

I've had a long day today. I'm so tired and worn out.

zombiemeow · 04/12/2015 07:49

Good lulu Grin is he good at present buying?

Cupcake glad ds1 is on the mend. Hope ds2 cough goes, my ds is the same, got to pick up his inhaler today to see if that helps.

I went in the kitchen earlier to get a drink and knocked a bottle of wine on the floor that smashed everywhere while I was doing that ds pulls down the cheistmas tree and strips it Hmm think it's going to be one of those days.

Cupcake92 · 04/12/2015 12:32

Ducky DS1 was on the mend but has thrown up everywhere again this morning and has a very high temp!
At my whits end :( dunno what to do any more he's been ill for ages now, well over a week. It's hard when he's crying and being sick and DS2 needs his milk and his medicine all at the same time :( don't know how much longer I can do this. Want them both better now.

Oh no how come he needs an inhaler?
Oh gosh ducky, roll on bedtime then aye!

LuluJakey1 · 04/12/2015 19:55

He's a good present buyer - a thoughtful one rather than a splurge a fortune one Grin Usually, lots of really nice but not huge things. I do the same- things I know he will really enjoy. Will you get DH anything? Are you still planning to leave in January?

Sounds like DS has got into Christmas and the trees Smile Our branch is going up tomorrow.

Cupcake has DS1 been to see GP? Over a week is a long time. Is DS2 any better? You must be exhausted.

DH came home tonight and he gave me a big hug and kiss and it was all gazey and romantic. I felt all warm and achey inside Smile He is in my good books at the moment- not sure why but we are in one of those good place phases.

Cupcake92 · 04/12/2015 23:28

Lulu DS1 went to GP last week, he's been throwing up 3 days straight now.
Tonight he's not been able to keep fluid down at all and now he's in pain :(
An ambulance has been called as he's bringing up his stomach lining so, we are going to hospital. Don't know how this will work with baby but I'm trying to prepare as many bottles as I can to take with us.
Can't wait for him to be better and be himself again.

Lulu I think little things that u know he'll like is much better than a big expensive thing :)

LuluJakey1 · 05/12/2015 08:54

That's awful Cupcake! Let us know how he gets on at the hospital. I am sure they will help out with feeding DS2. You must be really worried. I have never heard of it before. Hope he is better soon. Flowers

zombiemeow · 05/12/2015 12:20

I have got him some small things but not much as money is so tight. I am still planning on leaving. I just hope I'm strong enough to do it this time. Is there flooding by you today lulu?

Omg cupcake, what have they said? The poor thing SadThanksCake whenever ds goes into hosp I usually take his powder formula and they give disposable sterile bottles and sterile water but it may be different by you.

LuluJakey1 · 05/12/2015 14:24

Not that I am aware of Ducky. It is dry. But it is really really windy and lots of places have lost power apparently around us but our house is ok.

We don't spend a lot if money on each other any year at Christmas- just a few treat things. I don't like all the fuss. I hope you two manage a nice Christmas with DS. When is his birthday?

DH is going on his staff night out tonight- it is just the leadership team at his school- drinks and a meal at a restaurant, nothing wild. He feels obliged to go because it is his first year but isn't keen.

I have put all the christmas decorations up- such as they are Smile DS has climbed on the sofa to get to the tree baubles. I don't think it is safe from him. DH has taken him out for a walk but I can't stand this wind.

Hope Cupcake's little boy is OK. Have been checking in to see if she is back.

Cupcake92 · 05/12/2015 15:11

We are home now.
They monitored him and gave him fluids. He had to keep a certain amount down for an hour before he was allowed home.
His throat is red raw because of the amount of times he's been sick. I mean it has been 3 days straight of constant sick!
His blood sugars were low as well, so we had to also make sure they went up before being allowed home as well.
Any body can guess exactly what they said was wrong .......

Viral infection.

Everything is a viral infection! If they aren't sure exactly what's up they just say 'viral infection'
He's just exhausted now tho, looks very rough and pale :(
They have said if he's sick again in 24 hours I need to bring him back in and he'll be put on a drip until he's stopped being sick for a whole 24 hours.
So far he's not been sick again: so keeping my fingers crossed he's okay now.

Ducky our hospital doesn't supply anything anymore. Even when I had DS2 i had to bring my own milk in.

I'm so tired :( I was that tired when I got back I fell asleep holding DS2 and he rolled off. There was a matress on the floor as DS1 was sleeping on it. So thankfully he didn't get hurt. I feel awful tho :(
My mom is coming round and I'm going to sleep for a bit.

LuluJakey1 · 05/12/2015 15:17

Poor DS1 Cupcake. He must feel awful. He probably needs some sleep as well. Hope he manages to not be sick again and you get some rest. You must be absolutely drained.

I wouldn't worry about DS2- he will be fine and it was an accident. Don't beat yourself up. You do a great job as a mum.Flowers

zombiemeow · 05/12/2015 18:05

It was so windy here today too. Was it Northumberland toys from lulu? Or have I just completely made that up? The news said there's been awful flooding round there. Ds enjoyed going out to walk the dogs in the wind though, I didn't Hmm

Cupcake.... Bloody viral infections Angrythe amount of times I have heard that. Hope ds1 is feeling better, is ds2 better now? Hope you get some good rest. You Are doing a great job with the two of them Smile

OP posts:
LuluJakey1 · 05/12/2015 18:28

Ducky- think you have missed out a word about Nothumberland so am not sure what your question was.

Well there is no flooding round us but we are not near a river. I suppose if you are near a river and it's been raining up in the hills there might be flooding but we haven't seen any. The Sainsbury's delivery man told us lots of people have lost their power around here because the wind has brought lines down. The winds are almost gale force.

You are brave going out in this! The cats will not even go to the back door never mind into the garden.

zombiemeow · 05/12/2015 19:02

Woops! It was meant to say 'was it Northumberland you were from'. Stupid phone!

The dogs haven't really minded the wind, they just love going out, but they will not go out in the rain.

OP posts:
LuluJakey1 · 05/12/2015 19:28

Yes I am Ducky- but not seen any flooding.

LuluJakey1 · 05/12/2015 19:29

It's nice having the house to myself for a night. DS is cuddled up to me on the sofa with his bottle.

zombiemeow · 05/12/2015 19:45

Will dh be stopping out tonight lulu? It's nice to have a break from them Grin

OP posts:
LuluJakey1 · 05/12/2015 20:05

No, he said he'd be back by 11.30pm- knowing DH it'll be before then. I do like the bed to myself occasionally. It is always cooler and I like having the space. I am watching 'The Secret Lives of 6 Year olds '. It's amazing the way they behave.

zombiemeow · 05/12/2015 20:53

I wanted to watch that too but we have a Christmas movie on at the moment.

Did you watch the last one on? Was it secret life of 5 year olds? Some of the things they come out with were hilarious

OP posts:
LuluJakey1 · 05/12/2015 21:01

Yes, I watchd that. Tonight there was a little boy called Cash Hmm who had no conscience at all about breaking rules and lying to get what he wanted. He was a really tough little character and the others just did not really like him because of how he behaved. His mumsummed it up when she said 'He does what he likes and he just bats his big green eyes at me and I give in'. He is going to be a right handful. He lied outright yo the teacher without batting an eyelid. I felt sorry for him- his mum has done this to him.

Cupcake92 · 05/12/2015 21:11

Thanks guys :)

Oo I watched the 5 year old one, I must watch the 6 year old one on catch up. Children are so funny the things they say and do! I feel so bad for them when they get left out and cry! Bless them!

DS1 hasn't been sick but we've only been in bed half hour and I expect something to happen tonight! Fingers crossed it won't!
He begged me for toast earlier so I gave him a slice. He ate it and so far kept it down. U can rele tell he's not himself. He's sat watching the Minions movie on his iPad in my bed with me.

DS2 is still a bit snuffly but much better than before. I've attached a pic of him sleeping soundly :) can u believe he's 6 weeks old tomorrow! :( going too fast!

I love Xmas movies Ducky! Which one are u watching?

zombiemeow · 05/12/2015 22:22

Oh no lulu, maybe I won't watch it. Confused it sounds sad.

Cupcake is that a nuk I see? What is that attached to it? He's gorgeous.
