Sounds like a lovey day Lulu! :)
And some shops have the sales on all weekend. I only went to Tesco. They had 32" TVs for £99 as well.
Any plans for today Lulu?

Ducky how's DS?

Well I went to the doctors again yesterday and now have some cream for my csection incision. I now have a fungal infection. Honestly it's never ending. He said I've got it because my scar has folded in on itself when healing.
Thankfully no antibiotics tho. But I've had a swab done so he said I may need some depending on the results.

I hate csections.

zombiemeow · 28/11/2015 13:32

That's great cupcake! Wish I'd known about the tablets, I really wanted one of them and I needed a tv! Doh too slow. Are both the ds' feeling better now? Ds is ok, I think the past few days with his grumpiness/no sleep was due to a reaction on the milk ladder.

Lulu sounds like ds had a great time at sil Smile

I have cracked and put my tree up [santa]

It is so cold, windy and wet here today. When the rain went off we took DS for a walk but had to come back. The wind was just icy. It is miserable outside.

We are tucked up with the heating on and the fire. I have done lots of online shopping today. DH has been entertaining DS.

Feeling a bit miserable.

Cupcake92 · 29/11/2015 05:00

Ducky I think the coffee machine is on offer still on their website. N aww bless do u know what he had that gave him the reaction?
Ds2 is better but ds1 is still snuffly and I don't know if it's cuz he's poorly but omg he's been awful ! Talk about terrible twos! I'd call it evil twos! He was having some big tantrums today. So I banned him from having any chocolate at all, he wasn't happy!

Lulu it's also very cold here. Heating is certainly on!
Why do u feel miserable Lulu?
I hope ur okay Flowers

DS2 has slept from 10:30 till 4:30!!!! Shock deffo a one off as he should be feeding regular still, but omg that's like sleeping through!

zombiemeow · 29/11/2015 14:23

It's really cold and miserable here too lulu. Hope your feeling better today Brew

Cupcake that's wicked sleep! Bet you feel better for it. Ds reacted to pizza Sad back down a step now to lasagne which he will have tonight.
I'm dreading the terrible twos! Ds is already a pro at tantrums Blush

OP posts:
LuluJakey1 · 29/11/2015 16:42

We are having lasagne tonight Ducky. I remembered one I ysed to make so have found the recipe. It is spinach, mushrooms and onions with nutmeg and feta and then the sauce has gruyere in it. It's yummy. DS is having it too. We are having carrot and swede mash with it- he likes that.

The weather is just awful today. I hate these dark miserable days.

Hope everyone has had a nice day.

Cupcake92 · 29/11/2015 17:06

I know I was very shocked Ducky! I'm hoping DS2 will be a good sleeper and not like DS1 who still doesn't sleep very wellGrin
Oh no poor DS, so do you try him again with pizza?

Oh gosh Lulu that sounds delicious !
I wish I was at urs for dinner!
We have a curry as DS loves them. It's been slow cooking in the cooker today :) it's a lamb dupiaza. Yum yum!

It got dark early today! It was half 3 when I noticed it going gloomy.

zombiemeow · 29/11/2015 18:32

Sounds lovely lulu! Ds lasagne was just a ready meal as it has to have a certain amount of milk in Blush

He has just gone to bed and I haven't eaten today so have just shoved a pizza in the oven. I really eat like crap recently

OP posts:
LuluJakey1 · 29/11/2015 20:02

I can't make curries Cupcake- haven't got a clue! Nothing wrong with a ready meal Ducky- we eat loads of them and frozen pizzas.

DS is in bed and DH is working so I am going to clean up in the kitchen, have a bath and go to bed. The wind is howling and rain is pounding on the windows.

Cupcake92 · 30/11/2015 20:33

Oh god microwave meals are lifesavers ducky! DS has ones from asda the ones made for kids.

Lulu, I tend to just bung a load of spices and water in a stewing pot and just slow cook it for 3-4 hours. Turns out nice Grin
I made a lamb hotpot tonight... DS didn't eat it tho.

I've not had any appointments through for my 6 week check yet. Or for DS. I've not even had an appt for my repeat glucose test at the hospital Confused I'll be 6 weeks pp on Sunday so surely I'd be having my appts for next week?
I should probably call them all up and see what's going on.

LuluJakey1 · 30/11/2015 20:53

We had vegetable soup tonight made in the soup maker, followed by the rest of the lasagne with roasted vegetables. DS loves roasted vegetables.

It has been freezing here today. Rain freezing as it hit the car. Ds and I have been to soft play and then played at home this afternoon. He has made DH a Christmas card - hand prints and then glue and glitter on the top and snippings of tinsel round the edge - hideous. Smile

I took some photos of him this afternoon and SIL is going to tart them up artistically and I'll put them on one of tjise electronic frames so DH can have it on his desk.

DS has his outfit for Christmas day- very sweet dark blue tank top with chambray shirt and dark blue t shirt underneath, layered effect and dark blue tartan trousers. Very stylish Smile

LuluJakey1 · 30/11/2015 20:55

Those 6 weeks have gone quickly Cupcake!

I am still on the pill- we are still musing the idea of another baby and when. not sure if now is the right time. Might leave it a few months so DS is at least 2 or a bit more.

Cupcake92 · 01/12/2015 01:25

Aaww sounds like u and DS had a lovely day Lulu! :)
Yes 6 weeks have flown by!
I'd definitely advise waiting till he's 2 Lulu Grin not gonna lie its hard work!

I've woke up to awful news :( I used to be a police cadet back in the day (I've always wanted to become a police officer) one of our leaders who was also a pcso, has suffered a stroke :( he's in hospital.
He's originally from Iran and has no family here so he's not able to go home for a long time as there's no one to care for him. Me and a few other ex cadets are going to pop in to see him.
He's not very old either. So this must be a shock to him. And I know he loves being ab officer so I'm hoping he's able to work again one day :( bless him

LuluJakey1 · 01/12/2015 06:32

That is awful news Cupcake- poor man. Is it a bad one or one he will fully recover from- hope it's this.

I think I would be happy with just DS but I am an only child and I like it but I think having siblngs is less lonely really. DH really wants another baby - he loved having a sister and they were little pals growing up and are still very close.

zombiemeow · 01/12/2015 09:24

Lulu the card sounds ace! And it's very organised of you with his christmas outfit. What are your plans over cheistmas?

Cupcake, the poor man Sad I hope he makes a speedy recovery and isn't too badly affected. I know with strokes some people you couldn't tell they'd had one, others can get quite a few problems after.

Ds had another awful night last night. I can't believe he is 1 a week today and still not sleeping Hmm

We are off to one of his groups today, then will do some Christmas shopping then off to put up grandads tree Smile he has a really tacky snazzy Christmas jumper on today

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 01/12/2015 16:27

Lulu it seems quite bad, he is unable to go home as he's been told he'll need a full time carer. They can't tell if he'll recover fully yet.
I'm going In on Thursday with my friend to see him.
Lulu I'd probably have a 3rd child if I could Grin only because I like the excitement of being pregnant and I'd still want to experience labour, I'd refuse my repeat csection next time.
Also I'd want to keep the sex a secret and have a surprise :p

Ducky, that's gone quick can't believe that's a whole year already. They grow fast!
As for the sleep u know I can't reassure u with that Grin DS is 2 and still doesn't sleep well Grin
I also did some Xmas shopping today ducky :) I've only got a few left to buy and that's it!
Did DS enjoy doing the Xmas tree?
I've put mine up today and DS1 is so not interested at all! Didn't even help me Grin

LuluJakey1 · 01/12/2015 20:38

Cupcake- surely you don't mean you'd have another one now! Tell me you mean in 5 years time Smile

Ducky - PIL and grandma will be staying with SIL. We are going round for Christmas lunch. Then they are all coming here for tea on Boxing Day. I think it is just enough. They are staying about a week so we will see them at other times too- walks etc. And they will be here for DS's first birthday- we are having a birthday tea. Did you make your mind up what you are doing?

DH is off for 2 1/2 weeks so he will get a good break.

I am thankful that DS is a good sleeper. He is a pretty easy baby on the whole I think- although he has his moments. Like today when he pulled all the dvds off the bottom of the tv stand and half were out of their boxes because DH never puts them back properly. Then he got a packet of the cats Dreamies and emptied it on the floor; they scoffed the lot Hmm It is the only time he has ever been popular with them.

Cupcake92 · 01/12/2015 20:57

Oh gosh no Lulu ! Not right now nooooooGrin when I've found my dream man and settled down with him and we know we will be together forever :) then I'll have a 3rd.
Sounds like an organised peaceful and not chaotic Xmas Lulu :) I'll be going to my moms for lunch. ExH is coming over for a few hours in the morning to see the kids.

LuluJakey1 · 01/12/2015 21:46

DH and I decided we want DS to ourselves for a bit on Christmas morning- his first Christmas. So no one is coming here and we will go there about 12. Lunch about 2.30 so plenty of time for him to open his presents from them there and them to see him do that.

After me saying how good he is, he has been crying. DH went up and his Oleg grub was out of the cot, with his dummy, his squishy octopus and he was standing up in a temper! He is asleep again now, Oleg grub cuddled in with him.

LuluJakey1 · 01/12/2015 21:47

PS There are no dream men Cupcake Smile It is a myth.

zombiemeow · 02/12/2015 08:08

Ha I know cupcake! Has ds sleep been any better at all recently?

Lulu sounds lovely, what have you got him for Christmas?

Ds has an awful cough last night & today Sad and I think fingers tightly crossed I can finally see two teeth about to make an appearance!!!! It's his two top ones, he won't let me look at the bottom. Am really hoping its them, was starting to think I would have a teenager with just gums Hmm

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 02/12/2015 13:41

Aaww he still has his Oleg grub :) is that his favourite toy Lulu?
And I hope there's a man that comes close to a dream Man! Grin

DS hasbt rele got any better. He takes forever to fall asleep atm and for some reason I can't bath him he screamed his head off last night and was awful!! I had to hand wash him all over instead!

Ooo teeth ducky!! That's great!! Grin

DS2 went back to the docs today. He's been put on antibiotics :( his cold has moved to his chest and he was in a lot of pain last night and kept crying whenever he coughed. He's on them for 5 days! Poor DS2, only 5 weeks old and been poorly for most of his life!

Cupcake92 · 02/12/2015 17:40

Oh for gods sake!!! :( :( :(
DS1 has now been throwing up for the past 2 hours! Literally I've done 3 loads of washing because he's being sick on everything! :(
It literally doesn't stop, they have both been so ill for about 2 weeks now :(
It's exhausting for me as well and so hard on my own. I've called my mom and she's on her way over to help me out a bit as j can't look after baby and help DS1 out while he's being sick. It's making him scared as well.

I need a fag.
I've not smoked for over a year now but bloody hell I need one now. :(

zombiemeow · 02/12/2015 17:49

Oh no cupcake.poor ds's. You have had it rough Sad my ds started getting poorly at 1 week old then it just carried on, it's horrible seeing them so poorly when they're so little, and worse for you cus you have ds 1ChocolateThanks hope they are both feeling better very soon.

OP posts:
LuluJakey1 · 02/12/2015 20:52

Poor DSs Cupcake. And poor you. I hate it when they throw up. You just need a bit of a break from it all and some sleep. It is exhausting and worrying- especially when they are as little as DS1. You don't need a cigarette- not after a year. You have done really well.

DS is not getting lots of things for Christmas. He has some building stuff, a big floor mat with bits on it that make a noise, a shapes and holes thing, a musical ball with things to press, a trolley with bits in it to make things from, a sort of a bongo drum set that DH has bought with flashing lights and other sounds and rattley bits, books, a talking monkey and a little car that goes round making noises and lights flashing.

So lots of noisey things. Smile DH wants to buy him a little bike as well but I think he is a bit small for a bike. No doubt he will get it anyway.
