Shiny new thread and this time I got the title right!

We're all waiting for baby cupcake to come along

I'd like to be able to have a smear now. Makes me paranoid as I've heard so many stories of people getting ovarian cancer early 20's :s

These antibiotics I'm on are making me feel really sick.

I'm dropping DS at nursery tomorrow morning then off to register DS2's birth :) can't wait! Going to do a bit of retail therapy as well

You will probably be called soon cupcake, your 24 aren't you? I was 24 I guess they called me as I had ds, he was about 3/4 months at rhe time I think.

My bloods all came back normal. How strange.

Ds had such a bad night last night. He went to bed at 7.30, between then and 9.30 he'd woke up 4 times. I went to bed then and he woke up at 10, until 1.30 am then he slept until 2 when he got up until just after. 3 then slept until 4.45. I'm exhausted.

I don't know if I said I asked for a referral to a sleep person, I got a letter saying we didn't meet the criteria, so I went to the Drs again. I said I wasn't leaving until I had a referral to a sleep specialist. Turns out my appointment had been sent out, I thought it was ds 6 monthly appt but it's not. And it's not until February . I won't even see anyone then, it's a referral to someone else to refer me to the sleep clinic so I will have to wait again after that. Gp said she will chase it up and if I haven't had a quicker appt come through in the next 2 weeks to call and she will try and refer me straight to the sleep clinic herself.

Wow ducky! That's a long wait to even speak to someone about his sleep!! I would deffo demand to be referred sooner. Don't give up till they get u a referral much sooner.
I hope ur DS sleeps well for u tonight, u must both need a good sleep.

Oh and ducky I'm 23 lol :) I'll be 24 next year.

I'm tired today, and cold! Need a big thick jumper on I think! :)

I had booking today. Mw was lovely, really bubbly and chatty. She took my weight (BMI 27) AND we got all the paperwork filled out within 45mins. I won't see her again til 16 wks! I believe I will see the hospital team when I have my scan on 7th December.

Feels a bit more real now which sounds daft considering the massive boobs, severe nausea/sickness and constant exhaustion! Oh bed I can't wait to see you at 8:30

The DS's are okay! DS1 has been good today, was a good boy at nursery :) tho no nursery now till Tuesday! :(
DS2 has been awake loads today! He's awake now not due a feed till half 9 but he's been rooting for food for the past half hour now. He seems to cluster feed from about 6:30 till 11:30. It's tiring lol

Aww bless is he in a routine with his feeding? Is ds1 helping you with his new brother?

He's actually been poorly been in hospital all day. He slept for the whole past 2 days (that's how I know something's wrong!) only waking to feed. Then if you actually wake him up he was out of breath. Has been in and had observations, they think he's had a virus that he's just getting over now but have an inhaler on standby should we need to go back later/tomorrow. My poor little man.

No news in the due date, will wait to see when I have the scan but I'm going for 22nd June as that's what my app says lol.

Yes ducky his last feed is after he's cluster fed at a out 11/11:30pm then he has a feed at 4am :) then we get up at 7am!
Yep DS1 loves to hold him and pick his clothes out haha
Oh no ducky ur poor DS :( :( oh I hope he feels better soon! Big hugs to him.

DS1 was up at 3am last night his temp was very high!! He was sweating and had an awful barking cough. I think he's got croup again :( managed to get him temp down, but he's still asleep now he fell back to sleep at 4am. His breathing sounds awful atm :( he's never slept in this late before.

Ds1 had me up all night :( he's not feeling well. He woke up at 2 we all ended up downstairs and finally he's asleep.

DS2 is awake now tho :(

Oh no cupcake, what's wrong with him? Our ds's are in sync.

I went to bed with ds at 11, he had a few wake ups then was up at 3 am, went on my phone while he was drifting off and seen the awful news about Paris. Then I couldn't sleep. Fell asleep about 5.45 and had to get up at 6!

It sounds like croup ducky. He's got that nasty barking cough. And his temp keeps shooting up.
He's managed a few Cheerios this morning which is good.
Is ur DS still feeling quite poorly still?
And I know it's awful about Paris :(
Makes me so angry tho, I feel nobody is doing anything about these extremists.

Ds is much better, still got a cold but no more breathlessness.

It really is awful those poor people were out trying to have a good night when that happens.

Yes Ducky, DH is fine. Still tired but sticking to all the thngs to limit the impact of work that we agreed and very much himself again. DS had a bad night on Thursday and he walked the floor with him cuddling him and soothing him. We have had some nice time together too - went out for a drink together last night and there was a band on we really like at the pub. We even had a bit of a dance together.

We are both going on a diet starting tomorrow. He has put almost a stone on and I have put 8 lbs on. Am making veggie soup tomorrow and we are on baked potatoes and salads for teas.Lots more fruit andveg and less cheese and cakes He is out for a jog in the rain now.

DS managed to pull a vase of flowers over this afternoon- cue hysterical crying for 20 mins because he got very wet.

Glad dh is sticking to the rules lulu. Was your ds poorly too? The poor thing pulling the vase over himself!

Did sil have ds while you were out?

Ds has just gone to bed for the third time so have got a glass of wine and am watching the walking dead. Am coming down with his cold I think, I feel rubbish. Am going to ring the Drs on Tuesday to try and hurry his sleep clinic through.

On hold to nhs direct but I think an ambulance may have to come out.
He's shaking uncontrollably and looks in pain and keeps moaning :( been going on over an hour now. I'm so worried, he won't let me touch him either :(

Cupcake- what happened with DS1? Is he ok? That sounds scary. Hope it sounded worse than it turned out.

Yes Ducky, DS was babysat by SIL and BIL. They came here- sometimes they have him at theirs. She likes to bath him and get him ready for bed and he loves his bath. She said he made lots of noise- that is his thing at the minute, shouting and smiling at you. He is very cute but the noise gets annoying after a bit. We can distract him but I think he knows we do it and it gets him attention so he does it more.

No DS has not been ill- what makes you thonk that Ducky? The bad night? I think it was just over- tiredness and fighting it.

He was funny when the water went over him from the vase - the expression on his face and the trembly pet lip

Oh I wondered if he had been ill and that what caused him to have a bad night. Is sil and bil ttc? Sounds like they love your ds

Well paramedics came out, they were here over an hour. DS1 was sick twice all down me and nearly down the paramedic!
They said he was shaking because his temp was so high. It was awful to see as he just couldn't stop :(

He literally had to strip naked and had wet cloths on his head etc to help cool him down. I was told to stay up all night and watch him incase he was sick in his sleep!
That scared me! They said if his temps not down by today to take him to hospital, but thankfully it's come down in the past hour and it's normal atm, he's just lying on the sofa feeling sorry for himself bless him.
It's been a long night! No idea what's actually wrong with him tho.

The poor thing and how scary for you. I would have thought they would take you in for monitoring. Didn't they have any ideas what it could be? Is his temp normal now?

We are having a quiet day. We are off for a walk in a bit. It looks like rain later, very grey day.

Ducky, they have not said they are. They do love DS. i thought they would be but they don't seem in any rush. Mind you DH and I waited 5 years after we got married. We just wanted some time for us to enjoy being married and have some nice times together. We had only known each other a year when we got married. They are the same.

Ducky they just said its possibly a viral infection that's caused his temp or possible on coming ear infection or something. He's said to go to the GP on Monday.
To me it sounds like croup again as he has that barking cough. But it's also like he's got the flu...
His temp is normal now yes, well almost normal it's only slightly higher than normal.
Managed to get it down this morning and thankfully it's stayed down. He's just slept all day today and wouldn't eat.

Lulu he deffo does feel rotten.
I've heard there have been floods in places. Is it flooded where u are Lulu?
My moms in Yorkshire and said its flooded there.

It's been hard looking after both children today. And also trying to clean as well. I rele hope they both sleep tonight I need it
