Shiny new thread and this time I got the title right!

We're all waiting for baby cupcake to come along

I was thinking that lulu. Tries to put phone down but can't

Tonight for tea I am pushing the boat out and we are having egg and chips. DH is very excited. He says he is having a chip sandwich with some of his chips and he wants two eggs. DS has never had chips before.

I'm having scrambled egg on toast I think. I bet your ds will love the chips lulu. Ds has had them once or twice and has gone crazy over them.

You were right Ducky, he loved the chips- he only had 3, and some egg and some sliced tomato. We dipped the chips in the egg yolk and he got very excited for more. TBH DH was much the same We never have chips.

DS was just as excited by his stewed apple for afters. They are from our apple tree and are yummy.

Cupcake might not feel up to posting until tomorrow. Probably enjoying lots of cuddles with baby and visits fom DS1 and DM.

Sounds lovely lulu I hope you didn't have to dunk dh's chips for him too though.

Ahh I bet her ds1 is so excited about being a big brother.

Wow cupcake is going to be knackered, my induction process and the trips in and out left me at rock bottom exhaustion after my emcs. I remember starting to time trip and things starting to leave a blur behind them, once I finally got home to my bed I fell asleep and DH couldn't wake me to feed our DH.

In a panic he phoned the midwives and had to attach her sideways and wake me up to move me into a position to feed her while sleeping

Well I didn't get in to theatre for a while.
He weigh 7lbs 8oz and is beautiful.
Born at 19:44

But I can't have him :( he's been taken away to neonatal unit. Having a chest X-ray and IV line put in and bloods taken.
I'm so scared.

To feed him :(

I can't even go see him due to the csection as I can't walk :(

He's had his X-ray just waiting for results.
Neonatal aren't happy with his condition tho and he has to stay there :( I dunno how long for :( but he was supposed to come back to me after his X-ray. But they said he's not good :( :( :(

They've no idea what's wrong with him, but he's not feeding and is on a drip. He also has tubes in his nose to help him breath :'(
But they won't let him out of neonatal.
I'm being helped to get up at 6am, gonna be so painful !! :( but i just wanna get down to see him

Guys I'm terrified what's gonna happen to him :(

So sorry cupcake, that sounds so frightening for you :(. Hope you have good news soon

He is beautiful Cupcake. Try not to worry too much. Babies sometimes need an eye kept on them till they get over the shock. You will see him soon and hopefully get some good news.

You must be about to get up. Hope it isn't too painful and he is improving.

He is absolutely gorgeous cupcake!! Try to keep calm about neonatal, the same happened with my ds. They are looked after well there. Hopefully your going to see him now

I'm in a lot of pain atm, just waiting to have some painkillers before they attempt to get me up. My mom is coming to help me at 8am. And give me some support. ExH has DS all day and will bring him in this afternoon and visit and also exH will get to see DS2. Dunno how he'll feel seeing him in wire and stuff :/

Try not to worry too much- although I know that is easier said than done.

He is a good weight! Have you decided on a name for him? Did you get to hold him.

He is beautiful cupcake if he needs a little bit of help then he is in the best place for it, hope you can have a snuggle soon xx

Hope your snuggling him now cupcake ds was in the unit for 2 days, then back with me for one then back down for another day and night. The nurses there were all lovely and I was allowed to feed him etc. the woman who's baby was in the next incubator was allowed to bf her too and she was tiny and needing a lot of help. Hopefully you can feed him

Baby is gorgeous cupcake. Glad he is finally here and hopefully soon he will be in your arms. Hope you get to see him soon or have had the chance already. X
