Well DH has finished painting and it looks great. And I found a throw that was my grandmas in the 1950s that tones exactly. The room looks lovely. We are going to sit in it tonight when DS has gone to bed.

DS has had cheese on toast and beans for his tea followed by banana. He is out for a walk with DH now and I am watching TV. DH and I are having egg and chips again

Or maybe mushroom omlette and chips.

I wish I had your energy to cook nice food every day lulu am bloody exhausted today. Has dh got a week off now?

Yes he has Ducky. I have said he is not to do any work but he says he is doing an hour every day and that is it. He has just watched the FA cup draw and is off to put DS to bed and do his hour. Two omlettes took about 10 mins to make, including salad - we didn't have chips. DS managed a bit if omlette as well.

I am so worried about Cupcake.

I have never made an omelette no idea how.

Hopefully she's just busy with ds 2. I'm hoping he gets out of scbu quickly.

I've just had to have scrambled eggs after reading this :) DS tried it. He was not impressed. DD got home from nursery and fell asleep on the sofa. A, trying to work out when best to wake her up!

You'll still be able to bf, even if he's in neonatal for a few days. Make sure you get support from the midwives and if they'll let you borrow a pump it might help your milk supply to come in.

DS loves scrambled eggs Bear, and boiled eggs, omlette as we found out tonight and fried egg as we found out last night. There is nothing we have found that he does not like. He even ate an olive last week- took his time and pulled a face but he ate it.

You could make an omlette Ducky. Beat two eggs. Put butter in frying pan, heat until hot, pour in eggs and cover with lid for 3 mins. Add cheese or whatever you like, (cooked mushrooms or cooked bacon or potatoes or chorizio etc) leave another minute and slide onto plate. If you put pan undergrill for a couple of minutes they puff up and look very impressive. Honestly, dead quick and you can't go wrong.

I am about to have a glass of cold cider in our new room having come equal to DH on University Challenge.

I didn't know they were that easy lulu! Might try making it this week. Poor ds having to try my cooking .

DH and I have just watched Only Connect and I beat him. Living life on the edge in the north-east . He has gone back to do another hour's work, having been distracted by University challenge. I have promised to go up and make him come to bed in an hour - he aaid the thought would motivate him.
Might as well have some more cider.

Ds2 is doing amazing!!!! I fed him for the 1st time at 2am this morning :) he's coming out of his incubator today!!! So happy :) :)
I'm in a lot of pain tho from the csection, it's extremely painful atm. :( but baby is on the mend :) he's amazing and so small!!

Thank goodness! He looks really big Cupcake. And very much a boy. There is no way you could look at him and wonder if he was a boy or a girl. He's lovely.

Just google. They are really cute aren't they. I think the pink and blue ones would be quite easy to make - it is just fondant icing on a cupcake. Not that I could do it but a decent baker could.

I had a dream last night that I was pregnant again and about to give birth or have a section, and I was really nervous! It must have been from thinking about you and little DS2!
What does DS1 think of him?!

And they didn't rele say exactly what was wrong just said it was the way he was born, and factors of me being GD.

Oh he's a proper boy alright yes DS1 met him yesterday and was so desperate to touch him and hold him but ds2 had a lot of wires all over him so DS1 couldn't touch him. DS1 is fed up now tho and wants to get back into his routine.

Oh god I couldn't imagine dreaming about giving birth again. I'm never doing this again lmao. Csections are far too painful
He latched okay on the left side, but wouldn't latch to the right lol but on his 2nd feed he fed perfectly from both sides! :) took about 15 mins to latch on but once he did he fed so well!

Cupcake that is ace news! When will you be able to leave? Was the op a lot more calmer?

Do you feel ready to go home? I think I would be wanting a couple of days of hospital looking after, if I'd had a CS.

DH and I are thinking to wait another year before we start again. We have gone off the idea of Christmas. I don't know.....I saw a woman yesterday with a baby and one about 2 and she was really struggling.

I have started to get a bit bored at home. I actually do work for DH sometimes. SIL has offered to have DS 2 days a week which would be nice for him. We would pay her. So he would only go to nursery 3 days. I like the idea of being back at work. Then I think work will be too much.

Oh I don't know.

Ducky they said me and DS2 may be able to leave tomorrow evening :)
DS2 is coming up to the ward to be with me at 5pm as long as his 2pm blood sugars are okay!! :) he's finally getting out of the NICU!!!
The op was a lot calmer ducky. Like so much calmer. I knew what was going on and I had people talking it through what they were doing and I can remember when I first saw him too! :)

I don't rele feel ready to go home as I'm in so much pain I can hardly walk but it's getting hard for DS to be passed about to everyone he's getting upset.
