Late period, some symptoms, neg test(s)

Hi
My AF is 8 days late.
I have some symptoms- smell of coffee I hate, feel sick, tired.
Sometimes I have similar pms symptoms but not to this extent and obviously being as late as I am....
Tested 3 days ago in the morning and last night in the evening and they were negative
When I had my son (born 2011) I knew at about 4 weeks and I had a early miscarriage in March and that was about 4 1/2 weeks

I would of thought it would be positive by now....

Anyone had/having similar problems?

Iv been on the call to the GP and she's giving me an app in an hour to talk to me I'm hoping for a blood test but we shall see !
They've asked me to bring a urine sample even tho I told them I got a neg this morning !
Will let u guys know what they say hopefully their test miraculously picks up a positive ! ( yeah right !)

Hey girls just back from the doctors , well as expected BFN with their test which is 25mlu/ml ( the test Iv bn using r 20mlu )
She took my blood pressure , gave me another test to do in a week and if that's still neg will b getting hormone checks to see what's going on , I'm assuming that will be blood tests X
Def feel better after talking about it , she said could just be late ovulation and late implantation but need to wait xxg more waiting aahhhh lol

I think if I've still got nothing by next week I'll be going to the docs as it will be almost 2 months since my last period?!

Thanks Sadie , two months?! Bet it feels longer than that ! If u can't wait I bet your doctor would see u , I was lucky to get a really nice one tho quite a lot of people stayed they have been turned away ( not very professional in my opinion xxg

Yeah I'm not a fan of our doctors, although there is a new one who is lovely so may see if I can see him.

Yeh that's sounds good , you have the right to get answers , I wouldn't take "no " for an answer lol

Thanks Hun, something definitely isn't right, before AF I'm normally crampy and sore but nothing now.
Maybe I've skipped one altogether, we will find out at some point!

sadie like you my last AF was in August but end of August I am also wondering if I'm just gonna skip one month.

I've also been reading up on short luteal phase maybe that is the problem with me

I've been taking the conception pills from pregnacare last few days if we did miss the target last month then I'm hoping it will help us this month

As for Dr's mine are useless so I'm not even bothering with them at all for now but thinking maybe I should just go in for a chat next week. What's the worst that can happen eh.

Iv bn googling the luteal phase after reading your post , I have no idea when I ovulated I just dtd most nights for first two weeks after AF X starting to wonder if I even ovulated at all ! How r u feeling today ? Xx

Hey gals...so got another BFN, made a docs appointment and the day before my appointment AF decided to make a visit. Oh well maybe next month at least now we can get back to trying and know where we're at. Good luck everyone and have fun with all the baby dancing haha I know it'll happen for us all soon xoxo

Just stumbled across this and thought I'd share! When I got pregnant I got my bfp on cd55. I did ovulate late, I was testing like a mad woman in the end and think I got my bfp at 9dpo, albeit a very feint one.

We just dtd every other day for about 7 weeks in the end.

We did get an extra scan though as the dating scan was based upon the first day of the last period so I was only 9 weeks then back the nt scan.

Hope you get a bfp or af soon. It sent me mad!

Thank for sharing your story diddlydonkey fx we all have similar results. Yep I totally agree we all have become rather obsessed with testing and like Gx91 I bought cheapies online which I've been using. Also bought a clear blue one too but I dare not use it in case I waste it LOL

Well I had lots of back pains yesterday that were cramp like so thought here we go AF is finally here but nope nothing.

Ah well I suppose got to do more of DTD over the coming weeks

Awwww sadie91 totally understand the symptom spotting. It's so hard to not think its a symptom of pregnancy when it happens.

I've been thinking about buying ovulation kits but I'm thinking I'm tired of poas so will I be bothered to use them

I dunno I'm rambling getting depressed over this now

It's funny u said that pulledapart I bought ovulation kits and have been using them the past week to check if that's the cause but no lines on them either ! Wish I had them at the start ! Like u said just having to keep dtd incase we have a gap and miss it X
Bf thinks Iv lost it lol not complaining about all the sex tho I might add
Iv also got a digital test I'm saving it's away in a drawer ! I'm also to scared to waste it haha xxg

I think AF will start tomorrow having a bit of spotting tonight (sorry for TMI) oh well at least I'll have an answer. At least I didn't waste the clear blue test

Yep my suspicion was correct AF is here with a vengence feeling really cramped up and lots of pain, not to mention depressed. Yep closure for this month at least. Will have to concentrate and make more efforts on DTD next month.

Google is definitely not our friend end up more confused.
