Late period, some symptoms, neg test(s)

Hi
My AF is 8 days late.
I have some symptoms- smell of coffee I hate, feel sick, tired.
Sometimes I have similar pms symptoms but not to this extent and obviously being as late as I am....
Tested 3 days ago in the morning and last night in the evening and they were negative
When I had my son (born 2011) I knew at about 4 weeks and I had a early miscarriage in March and that was about 4 1/2 weeks

I would of thought it would be positive by now....

Anyone had/having similar problems?

Heehee :) nothing wrong with being impatient , it's our bodies ! Defiantly sounds like your having the symptoms tho ! What other symptoms have u been having ? I'm keen to compare .
Sorry if this is tmi but I have googled everything and I read a high soft cervix can be an indication of pregnancy before u get a positive test ? have I just hit a whole new level of crazy?! :s lol

can't remember my friends being this nuts when they wer TTC , maybe they just kept it to themselves haha :) hear from u girls soon xx g

I've been having headaches (gigantic ones not even curable by paracetamol), tiredness (that is not leaving despite how much I sleep), nausea , puffy and sore boobs, peeing all day, stomach cramps things which make me think I'm about to AF but I don't, mood swings irrationally irritable and dizziness mind you all these could just be coincidental

I think because of all the symptoms I think I am pregnant but each time I test its bloody negative only time will tell I suppose.

Oh yeah and heart flutter may seem weird but sometimes I feel my heart is pumping a lot more than usual which gives me sweats too. I dunno all this seems rather bizarre if I'm not pregnant which according to the tests I'm not x

I had the headaches nearly every day last week and I agree paracetomol was useless , shame ur not allowed nurophen that always seems to work for me . Iv noticed my gums bleeding aswell every time i brush my teeth along with the rest surely everything combined Isn't coincidental

Nausea feeling is back now trying to kill it with dry roasted chickpeas (apparently they work really well will know soon enough)

Well that's me back from a trip to the shops couldn't resist buying some cheap tests and one more expensive one lol so tempted to try a cheap one later but might wait until the first morning tinkle :) just realised I forgot to get milk ! Lol that was one of the reasons I went in the first place :0 will probs b on here later moaning about a BFN , I hope not xx

Ps hope ur nausea has calmed down pulledapart? Did the chickpeas help ? Xx

Hey Ladies...just catching up on the convo, got a quick break at work. I completely agree about men, I don't want to talk about too much to him anymore he things because I want it so bad it wont happen .

Still cant believe the amount of symptoms you're having pulled apart and testing negative. I'm testing tomorrow 10 days after AF was due clearly not as strong as you to wait 15 I'm going mad now! Will let you know what it says...

Yeh got bf to get the milk on way home from work lol not tested yet going to wait til tomorrow morning so will be in here posting after ! Been having really tingly nipples tonight never get sore boobs before a period before don't want to wake up to it X

Well woke up to another BFN after very vivid dreams about getting a BFN! Was hoping it wasn't the case! Had some cramping at bed time but no sign of AF X

Morning ladies,
I couldn't help myself and tested. BFN again but the symptoms are still there. Yep still have the lovely nausea feeling. A lot of cramping too. I was thinking maybe it's one of those chemical pregnancies as surely I should have got a positive by now?

Anyhow the next batch of tests will arrive Thursday the earliest so I can't test even if I wanted to till then. Or maybe I'll go and buy some LOL

Pulledapart- omg how frustrating , what's going on ! Iv been reading loads of posts on the internet n it's not uncommon to be waiting a long time after expected AF some ppl just don't produce enough HCG for the test , I know with my first pregnancy it took a while can't remember how long tho , was hoping it wouldn't be the same this time round X
Don't know if a chemical pregnancy would give u all the synptoms ur having ? Mibi worth even calling ur GP just for a chat? They might offer u a blood test I'd bite their hand of for a blood test and I'm only 2-3 days late !! Lol
Mibi help getting some info from the doctor aswell to help with the constant wonderment as we can see from this site it's probably more common than we think ! Good luck xx

I'm going outta my mind 14 days no AF Can't test this morning as no pregnancy tests at home which may be a good thing considering the amount I've been doing.

Read another thread on here with someone 38 days and still no period really don't want that to be me.

Symptoms have calmed down though thankfully not feeling nausea this morning.

I'm the sm bn testing every morning still no result , I'm actually in a depressed state today and not testing till the wkend now, will b taking a trip to the GP next week if AF not arrived , I'm so worried im not pregnant now bcoz I feel so sure and know il b upset X didn't think I would b like this first month of TTC xxg

Hi im in the same boat as you all 12 days late today been trying to concieve for a while now this month i just feel different been getting headaches very tired feeling quite sick and have bold blue veins accross my boobs and through my areola but 3 negative tests!!

It's a total pain in the ass eh ? our body's can't b toying with us everyone seems to b showing similar symptoms ! Any one called their doctors ? I'm interested to see what they saying about it ? Do you think they would just turn u away and tell u to keep waiting ? I've got an aunties 40th this sat but not going to drink a drop incase I find out I'm pregnant after ! Xxg

My doctors are useless they send me away telling me to wait so i just dont bother anymore! X

I know what mine will just say "it's ur PCOS it happens with it" Erm no my periods have been regular clockwork all year so it don't just happen. Getting that through to them is hard so like you lollyb20 I won't be bothering with them.

Your right about the disappointment I think I'll test next at the weekend if AF still not here. I can't take more negative this week.

Me too i find it heartbreaking when i get a negative i try to stay so positive but sometimes it gets to much. Iv never spoke on a forum before but im finding it quite helpful i dont feel so alone. I hope your ok? X

Sounds like us ladies r having one of our really bad days

Plus I'm so super tired today so that's probably y I'm feeling Imotional , got a busier day tomorrow to help distract me from thinking about peeing on a stick ! Lol
I also read about a lot of women gettin very late BFP and even neg blood tests and then to discover they were 7-8 weeks pregnant ! These sites r great be coz otherwise we wouldn't get this information !

I was the same two months ago... i have been monitoring my cycles since april (only started trying this month) and me and my DH DTD with no protection my AF was two months late negative test everything... i always had bang on 30 day cycles so unfortunately it can just stop for no reason.

I just wanted to say don't keep testing the heartbreak gets harder and harder each day hour, minute and second just keep on dtd eod incase you missed a cycle or ovulate later than normal

Oh a FX you are actually all PG would be wonderful news if you are
