Late period, some symptoms, neg test(s)

Hi
My AF is 8 days late.
I have some symptoms- smell of coffee I hate, feel sick, tired.
Sometimes I have similar pms symptoms but not to this extent and obviously being as late as I am....
Tested 3 days ago in the morning and last night in the evening and they were negative
When I had my son (born 2011) I knew at about 4 weeks and I had a early miscarriage in March and that was about 4 1/2 weeks

I would of thought it would be positive by now....

Anyone had/having similar problems?

I still swear I ovulated so no idea whats going on!!

Aww tootsie nearly a year since last AF ? I feel for u ! The doctors will probably offer u everything u nd as a year is the timephrame in which u are expected to wait ( I think it should b less ) what a strain it puts on us ladies powering thru for that legnth of time , wishing u all the luck in the world hope AF arrives before Christmas ! awww gosh tootsie a year is a bloody long time so sorry ur suffering in this way . I agree Gx91 waiting a year is so much strain on us they really need to change that policy.

im still ill the chest infection isn't shifting but it's helped me lose a bit of weight and the biggest thing I've given up smoking it's taken me 15 years but I think I've finally kicked the horrible habit. thankfully no cravings or being agitated or piling on weight, I think being sick has helped.

so it's a start of a healthy me, maybe that's been hindering the efforts of getting pregnant oh well at least now I can truly say I'm trying my best. it'll be a year for us in feb/Mar of TTC so the gynae appt I've got in Feb will be exactly on time. really hoping I miraculously fall pregnant by then.

anyhow sorry about going on about me today I just needed to get it off my chest so to speak.

how are you all doing? tv box sets are keeping me going. onto agents of sheilds now

My little one has a horrible cough so all my uni assignments are late and no one is getting any sleep :( it sounds a lot like croup! Should be fun...

Hey guys ,, I need some advice didn't know how to post as just signed up,, have been reading some stories on this but i am 5 days late for period ,, took a test to but a cheap one and was negative ,, on expected day of period I did have some Brown stuff when wiped but nothing else and still no period and never been late X

for me things have gone bad to worse. just got over my chest infection and yesterday i seem to have done my back in. saw the Dr today she suspects a herniated disc which is pinching my nerves causing sciatica pain. I can't even walk 😔 sof strong painkillers and more bed rest. im sick of being sick. I thought I had finally beaten my back pain but no it seems it's back with a vengeance!

Ameliaaaa - firstly welcome it can get very anxious waiting for AF to arrive but as we all know from experience now it can be delayed. I would wait a few more days then test again if AF still hasn't arrived x

I decided to go private for my back treatment as I simply couldn't take the pain anymore. thankfully I'm on the mend and back to walking again. AF is late again by a couple of days so just waiting for it to arrive. last month AF so messed up that I'm pretty sure it'll be delayed massively this time. still little hope niggling at me that this month could be it totally unrealistic as me and DH hardly DTD lol

Hi I've seen all of ur posts and I'm getting very similar symptoms. I come off the pill 6 months ago to start trying for a baby. I'm now 5 days late (which I'm never late) I've been getting small cramps,tender boobs and been feeling a little sick.I'm not sure though if these symptoms are real of if it's because I want a baby so badly that I've convinced myself I am. I did a test this morning and it came back negative :( been goolish and seeing early menopause and I'm not gonna lie,it's worrying me. Any advice ladies will be appreciated. Just worrying loads!!

how is everyone doing? it's been ages since I checked in here. AF just finished so me & DH going for another cycle. Let's see what happens this month. should be ovulating next tuesday according to calendar so will try DTD on sunday - monday eve. TBH we have been rather blaze about the whole thing last few month I think we've lost our mojo/motivation

thanks Sadie I think we need all the luck we can get! have concentrated on DTD last few days as today was ovulation day according to my period log, so everything is crossed we have been successful.

I checked on a website recommendEd on another thread here and that put ovulation day to being this Friday so we will just be humping like mad the rest of the week too I think LOL we've managed to get a bit of mojo back 😉

Either way this week is meant to be the most fertile for us so let's see.

totally agree you need a scan/gynae appt. this doesn't sound right at all. don't take no for an answer. tell the Dr how awful it's making you feel not knowing what's going on. Fx for you for a good outcome x

Hinall my period was due 4 days ago sunday 17th still hasnt made an appearanceSunday 17th... I have no signs of pregnancy an no signs of my AF arriving .. Usually suffer from really tender breasts running up to my AF (usually 4-5) days before and constant backache that worsens right up untill my AF arrives.. My boobs have been fine i had a smear of brown discharge in my underwear yesterday morning and nothing since ..( sorry if tmi)  i have also suffered from cramps in my back but they keep coming and going and are no were near as bad as my usual AF back pains... I took a clearblue test monday NEG result ... I have done a repeat test also today also negative!! Wondering whether anyone else has had this problem but had successfully concieved or whether i may just be really late (usually always ontime regular 30 day cycle) any advice on anyones previous experiences with pregnancies.. With baby number #1 i cant remember any symptoms or signs so abit confused... Thanks ?also been having twinges in stimach

Clear blue aren't that sensitive so I would use a first response, or super drugs own brand is meant to be pretty good!
I used to get ready painful periods and they were all heavy but they suddenly changes and are now vey light and I barely get any symptoms. Maybe wait a few days and test again if still no AF, are you ttc atm? X
