Late period, some symptoms, neg test(s)

Hi
My AF is 8 days late.
I have some symptoms- smell of coffee I hate, feel sick, tired.
Sometimes I have similar pms symptoms but not to this extent and obviously being as late as I am....
Tested 3 days ago in the morning and last night in the evening and they were negative
When I had my son (born 2011) I knew at about 4 weeks and I had a early miscarriage in March and that was about 4 1/2 weeks

I would of thought it would be positive by now....

Anyone had/having similar problems?

Glad you can now concentrate on your next cycle! Im on cycle day 54 today creamy white discharge (never had this before) and also iv noticed that this montg i have not had my normal clear stringy discharge i normally get when i ovulate x

That's such a long time ! Have either of u spoken to your GP yet ? U should let them know you are trying for a baby and don't know what's happening to your body , i was booked in for blood tests a week after my missed period but got my AF just before the appointment so cancelled it X
Hope u get some answers soon , it's horrible having to wait Xxg

I called my doctors again and was told to wait and see if i miss my next af (due in 3 days) if i miss this one i can call them back x

Well 3 days must seem like nothing after 54 X hope u get on ok , who nose may be AF will have arrived by then or you are pregnant ! Smile xxg

Gx91 - I'm gonna use the first ovulation stick tomorrow. I read somewhere you generally ovulate between day 10 - 20 after your AF starts. CD10 was today for me me so hoping I'll see a nice line tomorrow to tell me it's peak ovulating day Hmm of course not holding my breath!

If I miss this next AF I'll be calling the docs, just makes me feel a bit on edge not knowing what's going on. My last pregnancy I knew straight away and had no trouble with my bfp that's what's making me think that I'm not pregnant this time X

Hey ladies,

So I used the ovulation stick today and it showed nothing so not sure now even if I'm ovulating. We've DTD today anyway incase it does happen fx. I think I'm resigning myself to DTD as often as I can for now.

Lollyb20 - guys luck for tomorrow I hope AF shows up if it's suppose to. Going back to Dr's sounds very sensible if nothing happens tomorrow.

Sadie91 - sorry ur still in limbo over this. Really hope you get an answer either way. Are you still DTD even though AF hasn't shown and tests are negative? I can't remember if you said you been back to the G.P but I think it would be worth contacting them.

Gx91 - you started using your ovulation sticks yet? Really hope you get a positive on that if you do.

Lolly - hopefully u get some good information from ur GP tomorrow , i bet u feel tones better tomorrow after speaking to them , looking forward to hearing how u get on xx

Sadie - sorry about the disappointing BFN it's not nice getting them ((hugs)) I'm with pulled apart u should keep at dtd incase u skipped a cycle and maybe ovulate late this cycle . ( it's hard to want sex when your worrying about what's going on tho eh ) xx

Pulledapart - don't worry about negative OPK , it's still early days , I read if your cycles have been longer , ovulation will b later .
But your ovulation and luteal phase before AF stay the same , just keep testing over the next week or so or longer to try and catch it ! Have fun dtd until then lol
I used one today aswell but got nothing , I knew it was too early but though i would check anyway to see if I got a faint line
Think I will ovulate late this month if I do at all bcoz my af was late and also 7 days long Xxg

Ok so in my mad ways I've just tested again. There is a very faint line from what I can see in the ovulation window. Does this mean I'm kind of ovulating?

I think the line has to be darker than the control line to mean u have ovulated ? I'm not sure Iv got the cheapy strips so they might be different ( what do the instructions say?)X
Could also mean it's early days and ur LH surge will get stronger in the next few days , if it's a darker line tomorrow then get dtd lots! Lol

Thanks Gx91 this has definitely given me a little boost of confidence. At least things are kind off working ha ha ha Hope the line gets darker tomorrow fx. Oh yes and lots of DTD over the next few days I think is in order Wink Lol xxx

Still feel...odd: was very dizzy lastnight, felt like I'd had a drink or 5! Even laying down, it was very strange. Probably totally unconnected but you know what it's like! X

Well this morning opk test showed a darker line then yesterday so there may be hope yet!

Well I'm on cd13 now and bn getting neg OPKs over the wkend Sad not tested today yet so hopefully get a faint line , don't want to end up not ovulating this month Sad X
Been loyally dtd over the wkend tho incase the cheapy sticks aren't picking it up X
I hope it's just late ovulation ! Xx

How we all doing?

Tested again today line is still faint so not sure what's going on its not getting as dark as the control line. I've been having the clear egg white discharge for three days now (sorry for TMI) so I must be ovulating right? I dunno I'm getting confused Confused

We DTD last thurs/fri and yesterday so hoping if I'm ovulating we've caught it in time. I have one more test left which I think I'll leave till Thursday now. I'm getting sick of testing. Will try to continue DTD but I'm just not feeling up to it now Sad

Pulled apart - r u keeping hold of ur used ovulation atrips to compare ? I was looking on google and a lot of women kept them and marked them with cd 10 , 11 etc .. Most didn't get a darker line til cd 18 or 20 !
I'd just kept at it lol X
I got a faint line on one last night so going to try again today to see it any darker , also nd to buy more just incase I don't ovulate until cd 20 lol xx

Sadie , hope ur ok and get on ok with ur GP , I'm sure they will have a lot of answers ! Let us know how u get on X it's the worst thing having to wait especially when u want something so bad (( hugs)) xx

Hi everyone called my gp they have booked me an appointment for 2 weeks time!! They are going to send me for a blood test and an ultrasound and have now told me it could be PCOS :( x

Hey lolly don't worry I'm sure u will be fine ! That's only a maybe until they have done all the tests X on the plus side I know lots of ladies with PCOS and they all managed to concieve , the doctors will give u all the information and help u ask for if that's the case X I know it's really hard not to worry hope ur ok with your TWW before doctors appointment , everyone is here for you xx
