Ooh where did you all go?! HmmGrin

Talking of books, what are your littluns dressing up as for world book day on Friday? Summer is obsessed with wizard of Oz and is insisting on Dorothy! How about yours?

Hi 4ever.

My girls' school doesn't do dressing up for World Book Day but your ideas sound good.

moonmrs · 28/02/2016 20:29

At least Dorothy is easier than the tin man Grin

CloudOfStarlings · 06/03/2016 02:45

Hi ladies..just checking in during night feeding..in the spirit of the old days of the thread, you might like to know that I am lazy and just changed little lady's nappy in my lap and she gave me a lovely surprise, splattered right across the bed and up to the pillows, narrowly missing dh's face GrinGrin fun times!! (We've changed the sheets now, with much grumbling from dh about his broken sleep Hmm)

Anyway, just thought I'd say hi!! 4ever J was meant to be Peter from Narnia and had a great costume, complete with shield made by dh, then he woke up I'll on thurs! I was more gutted than him to be honest!! Grin hopefully the costume will still fit next year! Hope Summer had fun!

Hope all you ladies are OK and happy Mother's Day!! X

Neeko · 06/03/2016 15:01

Happy Mother's Day to all of you.

Cloud- that did indeed make me smile. I could just imagine waking up to that!

I've been off with flu all week. On the mend but a low key day here.

moonmrs · 06/03/2016 19:13

Happy mothers day to you all, of babies past, present and future.
Sorry to hear you're poorly neeko, hope you're feeling better very soon.
Cloud, those good old days huh! Glad to see (read) you still have a positive outlook on it all!

Big waves to everyone.

Neeko · 12/03/2016 16:25

Checking in. Hope you are all ok.

moonmrs · 12/03/2016 19:04

All ok here, how about you neeko?

Busy as ever. But enjoying the sunshine and j has been to the swings so he's happy Smile

Neeko · 12/03/2016 21:48

All ok here. DH and I still recovering from the flu. Ok so long as we don't sit down. When we do, we fall asleep!

It's so lovely to have warmer weather, isn't it? It makes such a difference to everyone's moods.

We are gearing up for DD2's birthday in two weeks. I can't believe she will be 6. How far we have all come from those days of heartbreak...

moonmrs · 13/03/2016 13:14

I've only ever had the flu once and it was horrible. Knocked me for 6 and took me months to feel right again, hope you're much better.
The sun makes me happy, especially after so many grey, miserable and rainy days. I can understand how people get that seasonal disorder.
I know time flies doesn't it, I love an emmysys graduate birthday to remind us how far we've come.

Neeko · 14/03/2016 21:15

Not sure if we still do this or not, but tomorrow marks 7 years since I found out our lo wasn't meant to be. It doesn't feel quite right to discuss it in rl after all this time and after all my blessings, so just having a wee remembrance on here where I initially found the support I needed.

moonmrs · 14/03/2016 21:34

We never forget, no matter how long it's been. I know I think of my lost two every single day and it don't think I'll ever truly get over them. I have my beautiful boy for who I am eternally thankful, and he keeps me smiling. But of course you can remember the ones who didn't make it, this our little safe haven where we all understand. Hugs to you.

Neeko · 14/03/2016 21:53

Thanks, Moon. Thanks

4everhopeful · 14/03/2016 22:26

Hugs and Flowers to you Neeko of course it's our little place of rememberence and we'll always be here to offer a hand squeeze on these days.. Halo So glad we still have this for whenever anyone needs it, I feel strange to mention it much in rl too, we lost our 2nd (or found out) on Dhs 30th birthday, it was his 38th a couple weeks back and literally only came in my head the night before, but there's always little reminders for all of them, and the way we all remember is individual and right for us in our own ways.. Xx So, again, big hugs Neeko, I'd not lurked in a while so really glad something made me do so tonight and I could mark my place Wink xx

4everhopeful · 14/03/2016 22:32

Wow, just thinking about it and realised next year will be 10 yrs since first loss, I'm really Shock

Also something that made me really Grin is you saying your Dd is nearly 6 Neeko! It seemed an eternity between us falling pregnant and having our babies and actually it's only several weeks between our girls! Grin Yes, we have certainly come a loooooong way Wink

OP posts:
Neeko · 15/03/2016 07:00

Thanks 4ever.

Hope all is well with you.

moonmrs · 21/03/2016 20:14

Hope everyone's ok. I'm having a well earned week off work Smile and a whole week to spend with my beautiful boy and lovely dh. Took J on the train for the first time today. He wasn't too sure about it! But was a nice day out and nice for both dh and I to not drive.

Have you all broken up for Easter yet?

moonmrs · 25/03/2016 19:22

Where are the bunny smilies?! Or can I just not see them on my phone Hmm

Neeko · 25/03/2016 21:38

Hi Moon. Hope you have had a fun week off. Don't you just put a b in front for bunny smiles?

I'll try it [bsmile]

Did it work?

Neeko · 25/03/2016 21:39

Nope! But I like this one. Halo Looks like it was made for me Grin

moonmrs · 25/03/2016 21:49

It's been lovely, thank you. J has been like a different child! I've enjoyed being with him so much, he's been so well behaved and so much fun to be around. We've been keeping busy though as he gets bored easily and then plays up! The last few times I've taken a week off its been hard and I almost wished I was at work! But maybe, just maybe, we're actually getting somewhere now.
Are the girls excited about Easter? Or too old for the Easter bunny now? How are you doing with the flu recovery?
Haha that's a good smilie. Suits you Wink

Neeko · 25/03/2016 22:18

Oh Moon,I'm so pleased to read that. Your happiness is palpable. I'm sure this week will have done you all a world of good. Smile

DD2 is 6 on Tuesday Shockso Easter has been over-shadowed in this house this year. Incidentally, Tuesday will also be Mermaid's birthday. I wonder how she is these days.

Neeko · 25/03/2016 22:20

Oh and I am more or less fully recovered from flu but DH is still struggling with a chronic cough and fatigue. He is on antibiotics but no improvement yet. Thanks for asking.
