Well ladies, as requested, let's keep it going, even if it's few and far between! Our little greenhouse still has the door open for all weebles past and present! Smile

He clearly likes to keep you in your toes. The weather can't be helping as it is hard to get them out to run about when it's so cold, wet and windy.

This too shall pass. Smile

moonmrs · 01/02/2016 19:53

He does! Never a dull moment. And he goes out in all weather (bad mummy) otherwise we'd all go crazy!

CloudOfStarlings · 02/02/2016 02:03

moon so glad you had a good day with J, those days always come along at just the right time to make you realise it's not all futile! Ooh we watched 12 years a slave.. So moving. Hope you're enjoying the book!/I just finished reading Wild (that was a film with Reese Witherspoon last year) very good!
We also had surprisingly good weekend with the boys.. Dh back to work now so had my first day flying solo yesterday..all went well so hoping that continues!! I still am in a bit of pain &can't do everything I want to do around the house which is so frustrating but trying to just let the mess go for now and enjoy my baby!

Neeko · 02/02/2016 07:12

Cloud- well done on surviving the first day on your own and in your attitude. I'm sure you will be back to full health soon. Are you bfing? I always enjoyed how that made me put my feet up.

Moon- I haven't read that. Is it good? I'm now reading Charlotte's Web as DD is doing it at school and I've never read it. Sadly it makes me realise how much the language has been dumbed down in current children's literature.

CloudOfStarlings · 02/02/2016 12:49

Hi neeko yes am breastfeeding Smile it is lovely that you have to sit down..even if it is for the entire evening most days Grin
Agreed about children's literature!! Have read Paddington and some Narnia with ds1 and the language is quite sophisticated in both but he loved them and has asked for more! Will have to try Charlotte's web with him I haven't read it either!

Neeko · 02/02/2016 20:07

It is a lovely book. One of those kinds that you want to sit down and read and forget about the million other things you should be doing.

Good work on the feeding. Hope it's all going well.

moonmrs · 02/02/2016 20:24

I'm enjoying 12 years a slave, it's a bit deeper than I expected but I'm enjoying the escapism and remember why I used to love reading.
Cloud well done on being a mummy to 3 all on your own! (well in the day that is). Hats off to you, you're amazing. And I'm impressed with you breastfeeding again, like neeko says it gives you the chance to sit down!

Neeko · 02/02/2016 20:39

Reading is the best Moon. It's good for the soul and sounds like it is exactly what you need.

moonmrs · 02/02/2016 20:53

I'm starting to realise this. I used to read all the time, albeit some trashy stuff sometimes, but I like being in a different world. I had forgotten that I enjoy it so much. I will try to make more time to read, and go to bed early once in a while to do so.

Neeko · 03/02/2016 06:57

That sounds like a really good plan.

moonmrs · 03/02/2016 20:42

I think it's a good start. Let's see how long it lasts!

Cloud, still going ok? Hope you're managing to get some sleep in between being super woman.

Neeko · 08/02/2016 07:28

Hey Moon. How did this weekend go?

Cloud- hope you survived the first week on your own unscathed.

CloudOfStarlings · 09/02/2016 02:05

Hi ladies, moon I wholeheartedly endorse me-time for reading Grin it is just the best form of escapism!! I should make more time for it too..maybe I will try during lent, and not go on Facebook so much Blush

Thanks so much for asking both of you, the week went well and we survived! Lots of TV was watched Blush but lots of other stuff too..and thankfully am feeling better/stronger again this week so feeling a lot more positive! Smile

Hope all you ladies are well xxx

moonmrs · 09/02/2016 19:35

Neeko, weekend was so so thanks, but we got there without any arguments! I'm still finding it hard but we're getting through it a bit better.
Cloud, you're amazing! So glad you're coping well, who cares if there's a bit too much tv for a while, it all evens out and you have plenty on your hands so don't feel bad about it. It's harder in the winter months to get out and if you cant drive yet that doesn't help. Keep doing what you're doing as it's working Smile
J had his 2 and a half year health assessment today. He did us proud. I was so impressed with him and the lady who came round thought he was lovely. She said his speech was excellent, they were having some lovely conversations! Proud mummy Grin

Neeko · 16/02/2016 21:04

Just checking in. Hope you are both ok.

moonmrs · 17/02/2016 20:10

All good here thanks neeko, how about you and your family?

Cloud, still going strong?

Neeko · 17/02/2016 20:35

I'm good. Just had a few days off and a lovely meet up with an Emmsys weeble and her little sunbeams! Smile was terrific to see her again.

moonmrs · 17/02/2016 20:57

Aww lovely, hope you had a great time :-) she's missed on here.

Neeko · 17/02/2016 21:20

We had a great time. Such a shame she's normally hundreds of miles away.
I keep telling her she is missed on here. The thread is really dwindling sadly. Sad

moonmrs · 17/02/2016 21:35

I'm glad you keep in touch, it's lovely.
I know what you mean. It is sad, but in some ways happy because people now have their longed for children, which they didn't have at the beginning. I will be here til the bitter end! I know I always say it but this place saved me and I love my little safe haven, so until it dies there is no getting rid of me :-)

Neeko · 17/02/2016 21:42

They will probably need an eviction order for me too!

moonmrs · 18/02/2016 07:59

My reading / me time is going well. I've just finished my second book Smile

Neeko · 18/02/2016 10:45

Good for you. What type of book do you like?

moonmrs · 18/02/2016 12:46

I'm not too fussed! I've read 12 years a slave and just finished beyond the misty shore. To be honest, neither of those are my type, I only picked them cuz they were free on my phone! I'll have a go at most things but they have to grab me in the first few pages! I don't like Sci fi or murder mystery but other than that I'm quite open.

Neeko · 18/02/2016 12:51

Try 'I let you go'. It was quite gripping.
