This is a thread for those diagnosed with high or very high natural killer cells and trying to concieve or are pregnant and taking steroids/intralipids etc

Oh trying I will miss you! But glad you going to have such an amazing holiday. Hope the diet went well, you must have an iron will to try and diet at this time of year!

Oh it went well for about 3 days! I lost 2 pounds rather than the 5 I wanted!! But when I get back I'm hoping I start my cycle in Feb so I have a month to get my bmi back to 24.5! Which is more than doable if I stay focused. It's an arbitrary number but I feel better for it! Have a lovely Xmas xxxx

drttc how are you feeling? 26 and a half hours to go and I'm petrified. I don't want to jinx myself but I think I've started to feel little kicks. Please god let this little one be ok.

Hey Snoopy! Omg I hope you're right and are feels kicks- so sweet!! You are so far along Hun, this is your rainbow baby!

I'm well! Nothing to report. No spotting or noteworthy cramping. Not many symptoms except sore boobs and a very few queasy moments. That said I'm feeling very grim and sad about the scan on Thursday :( I just don't see how my body could be capable of doing such an amazing thing. Then I get upset with myself because I should be more positive. So that's life atm

drttc no news is good news! Don't worry about symptoms because the steroids often mask them. I know this is the pot calling the kettle black and that disbelief is a good way of protecting yourself after everything we have been through but there is no reason the scan won't be perfect this time.

Hmmm I was in the US so my overwhelming memory is knicker checking in the toilets in every Dunkin Donuts we drove past haha I think I only had sore boobs and sleeplessness, but the crap sleep was probably due to the steroids, although I don't sleep well now and DH says I sound like darth Vader. Oh and everything tasted funny.

Hahaha that darth Vader comment made me laugh!!!

Yeah I've not slept well but know it's the steroids. Sounds like pretty much the same symptoms then... I just want it to be Thursday already!

Do you think you'll be able to enjoy Christmas once you see baby is happy tomorrow? I hope so- you've come so far and it sounds like your pregnancy has gone amazingly! I know I'm a mess but I've never made it passed 6 weeks or seen anything on a scan so I'm right in my danger zone... You deserve some preggo happiness!!

Drttc, it's so hard to imagine ever having good news when you've had such an awful history with pregnancy but you're on all the right drugs to keep your pesky immune system at bay. I know it's hard but try not to think about the bad stuff, just focus on the fact that today your are pregnant, focus on that thought every day. Time will keep passing and every day your little bean will get stronger and stronger.

I CANNOT wait to get away and see the back of this year! Then I need to shift some weight in the new year! DETOX!!

Seeking- I keep forgetting, which day are you setting off on? I can totally relate to being done with 2015. It's been an excruciating year! And I'm sure we all had such high hopes for it as well... Looking forward to new beginnings :)!

drttc I know it's hard but we are positive on your behalf! I waited until 8 weeks for a scan because that was about the furthest we had gotten and like you we had never seen a heartbeat or had a positive scan. I just stared at the wall because I was expecting the worst and then I just fell apart when I heard that little heart beating. And you will too.

So scared, three and a half hours to go. I can already feel my heart starting to thump. I will try my hardest to feel more positive if this goes well and I will finally tell everyone haha

How'd it go Snoopy :) ?

Scan went well, jelly fish would not stop wriggling and was very difficult but the sonographer was happy with everything and she's measuring on track with my due date

My scan was good too - they think he could be about 6 1/2 pounds already at 35 weeks (eek) although it's all a bit of a guesstimate and I've read about lots if examples when the hospitals predictions is way out! But I do have quite a bit of fluid and he is still tracking high on the chart so at the moment they are saying induction around 39 weeks!

Yay! Congrats ladies!! Both set for a merry Christmas then indeed :)

Sunny- How do you feel about being induced a bit early?

Wow sunny he's a big boy! Try not to worry, like you said these are just estimates. He's healthy and he will be here soon!

Im ok about being induced if it means he comes out a bit smaller!! I'd prefer to start naturally but my priority is him and getting him out safely! My husband us tall and was 9lb when he was born so I don't think I was ever destined to have a small baby!

You seem ready for it Sunny :) Mummy mode is kicking in!
