There's not enough sperm to do the test :( u need at least 1 million for test.
So vit c and e won't do any harm and helps improve frag if it is an issue. Also he said to hmmmm "ejaculate" every 2/3 days to reduce the exposure to toxins etc which raise Frag. He said waiting for longer can make things worse.

Still no plan re dates, it all depends on the immunology Bloods. They take 3 weeks to come back-if all ok I start 2days after they back so not much notice ! (As per my af). If not ok then delays for humira etc. They do similar bloods to mr s...but slightly different. Something about looking at the type of NK cells, not just the total number?! And obviously they will be checking my nk levels every few weeks if I get that far.
I'm really still stressed about dh not having sperm on the day. It was discussed hence the need for frozen back up.
Oh sorry re pvulation Stick confusion! Usually they go flashing then go fixed? I found they added more stress to me so just got the yes or no ones. I'm sure u DTD enough to cover if today was the day??? Check tmrw too? Fingers crossed for u

sunnyday01 · 10/09/2015 20:58

Glad it went ok and was positive - have they said when you can start?

No not felt any movement yet - well I don't think I have - a little worried about it but midwife did say it could be up to 22 weeks. Just want my scan over snd done with!

Tryingno1 · 10/09/2015 21:21

I'm sure the little one is fine in there :) when is ur scan?
No it all depends on my immune blood tests..back in 3 weeks. Then will be called to say u start with next AF (which will be 2 days later)! Or a plan to deal with immune crap for a few months before!

sunnyday01 · 11/09/2015 07:17

Scan is on Monday so just a few days to wait! Do t think I'll ever not be scared before a scan.

Oh ok so could be soon, at least either way you will have a plan if action! Have you moved already?

Tryingno1 · 11/09/2015 08:06

Not moved yet planning on moving to the day of the first blood tests/latest I can possibly be there.
Good luck! So exciting :)
Hope rosa is ok if u lurking!

Seekingmiracles · 11/09/2015 20:06

Glad your appointment went well Trying, seems like they have a plan in place, hopefully your bloods will come back ok and you can crack on quickly. They really are the best, you're in good hands so let them deal with the sperm issues and try to relax a bit. You'll want to be in the best possible mind set when your treatment starts.

Sorry you're having ovulation test issues Drttc, I also stepped away from those flashing tests and now just use the cheap internet ones. Much cheaper and easier to decipher!

Hope you're appointment goes well on Monday. I'm sure your little one is absolutely fine in there. But we all know the worry scans bring. we'll be thinking of you

Tryingno1 · 11/09/2015 20:46

Thanks seeking. I'm def reading and researching less and hoping it will help my mind! I just hope they manage to give me my BFP and keep it there this time. How r u? Is ur AF finished now, hope ur feeling postuve about this next cycle xxx

Hula2 · 14/09/2015 10:05

Trying - glad you re appointment went ok, sorry dh sample was nt higher but you ve got you re frozen back up and you re at the best place so i m feeling really positive for you.

Sunny - good luck with your scan, thinking of you.

Got my monitoring scan this afternoon, hoping for good follicles that can hang on till wed when dh is back !

Hi to everyone else, hope you all had a good weekend.

Tryingno1 · 14/09/2015 10:15

Good luck hula. I just had my immunology bloods and weed in a pot for mycoplasm and ureoplasma!

Hope u have some juicy follicles x

Tryingno1 · 14/09/2015 10:25

Ps have been gluten free about 4/5 out of 7 days. Now I'm about to go everyday. I'm not worried if there r tiny bits of gluten in some food, but aiming to avoid major gluten products so pizza pasta cake bread cereals etc. But not going to get worried if my food packet says may contain traces....
Good luck sunny!!!!

Drttc · 14/09/2015 13:39

Well done on the GF diet hula! I took a break for a week at the start of the month (was a bit fed up) but have been back at I for the last week and motivated again. I really do think it helps... I haven't had a proper give attack in months and I use to have them every few weeks! Good luck with your blood tests!

Good luck Sunny!

Tryingno1 · 14/09/2015 14:35

I did some reserch into it and I never realised how gluten can play such a role! I must say though most people seem to get away with getting pissed and eat anything! I also had a week off this week as was in london most of it. Ate out a lot and had a few glasses of wine too. But back on it!
Where in ur cycle are u drtcc?

sunnyday01 · 14/09/2015 19:36

Hi!

Scan was all fine, well as good as it could be which is all I hope for. Another milestone reached - still can't believe its happening!

Hula2 · 14/09/2015 19:46

Sunny - such great news !

Had my scan, 2 follicles, trigger tomorrow, then need to dtd wed and thurs, so lucky dh managed to change things to get back wed and looks like pred didn t mess things so i m pleased all round, just need it to work now !

Question for those taking /taken pred are u taking omeprazole (gastroprotectant) as well ? Mr s said to start taking it now.

Well done trying on the gluten free. I ve done 3mns now (and dairy) so hoping it will help, the longer u do it the easier it gets i think. Do argc advise it ?

OP posts:
Tryingno1 · 14/09/2015 20:55

No i didn't take it but it's prob a good idea! ESP if u ever get heartburn.

Glad there were 2 follicles and u can time DTD properly. I really hope this is ur month, u have waited long enough now! Fingers crossed

No they didn't really discuss it, they just said DH should be vit c and e as helps sperm frag and quality. But ive seen a lot of girls who cycle there see a nutritionist who suggests it's a good idea to cut down as it inflammatory. That's amazing u have done it for 3 Months! I need to get some gluten free cake into the house so help me with my sweet pangs! I'm into second phase of weight loss now. Aiming to get bmi down to 24 by next month.

Sunny wonderful :) Yep it really is happening for u!

Seekingmiracles · 14/09/2015 21:18

Hi Ladies Smile

Hope you all had a good weekend.

Glad your scan went well Sunny Grin - it's well and truly your time!

Perfect timing for you Hula - hope this is your month... fingers crossed Smile

Trying well done on doing GF, I was just thinking I might give it a go. But I would really struggle with breakfast as a LOVE porridge!

I'm currently cd 10... waiting to ovulate.... boring.... normally happens around cd16, so a few days yet.

Hula2 · 14/09/2015 22:36

Thanks girls.

Seeking - porridge is fine ! oats dont have gluten but can have traces because they are prepared in the same factories as wheat etc, this is probably irrelevant for our purposes as we re not intolerant/allergic but you can get even gets ones that are prepared separately so are certified GF !

OP posts:
Tryingno1 · 15/09/2015 10:51

We need some more bfp with happy endings hope it's one of u guys this month!
Ive spent this am sorting out a courier to take dH frozen sperm
To ARGC! Never did I think in a million years I would need to do these things or that it was even possible! All sorted now.
This 2-3 week wait for my immune blood results to find out when I can start is already dragging...
Have a good day girls x

Tryingno1 · 15/09/2015 10:53

Ps seeking as u know ur last one was chromsonal, however crappy it is, I think it's such valuable information for u. Going gluten free won't do any harm but maybe it's not needed? As it was just one of those things last time and possible the other times too? It's hard to know though, just do what makes u feel better! I'm finding im loosing weight by cutting it out so it works well for it as im basically having a low carb diet as a result rather than getting in gluten free bread etc. Like
I said, I might get a few cakes in though for a little treat!

Hula2 · 15/09/2015 11:40

Glad you got it sorted Trying. Yeah its amazing when you think back to school sex ed that made you think you could get preg on any day of the month by just looking at your boyfriend and turns out its actually like trying to move a mountain ! We ve just got to plod on and trust if its meant to be it will be.....

Well done on the wgt loss, its all got to help. You can get some good GF cakes (brownies are often GF) definetly need to treat yourself now and then.

OP posts:
Tryingno1 · 15/09/2015 12:04

I hope determined is ok?

Drttc · 15/09/2015 13:02

Sunny- we knew your scan would go well! Congrats and enjoy :)

Yes- well done Trying! I agree it's crazy the things that become our norm. I'm now jumping on the BPA free train and replacing all our plastics with safer versions. And no more microwaving plastics! Hubby is looking at me like I'm a little crazy but going along with it haha. PS another well done on cutting out carbs! I so need to do that... I've got loads of GF treats!

Exciting few days Hula! Remember to try and relax and enjoy DTD ;)

Oh dear- apologies for all my typos again ladies! I know I should proofread but... I get so eager to hit 'post'! My last post meant to read that my HIVE attacks (not 'give' attacks) have eased since being GF. But that may also be due to the hydroxy. Either way- good news! I'm CD14 now and perhaps 4dpo? I feel being fully committed to the meds alters my cycles and is making getting pregnant take longer... BUT that's okay. I've been pregnant 3 times this year, and it's now about a healthy pregnancy (not just a positive test). So I'm patiently waiting for my healthy BFP :) No symptoms atm, will test Sunday and/or Monday.

Tryingno1 · 15/09/2015 13:43

Good attitude drttc. Better it takes a few months but ends with our happy ending. I keep telling myself that and also preparing for argc delays as been told if tnf is up I won't cycle till nov/dec. doesn't bear thinking about it, but telling myself if that's what they think is needed then I wait and do as im told!
Ive gone bpa free too! Well half way! Just my lunch box and water bottle!

Drttc · 15/09/2015 18:54

I know it seems ages away! But (I'm trying to) think of it this way: if you need to wait until December, and this time next year you're already holding your rainbow baby... How distant will that waiting game feel :)! It can go from feeling completely out of the running to winning the race so quickly. Crossing my fingers for us!

Tryingno1 · 16/09/2015 12:41

I'm trying to stay away from all
Processed food and cooking everything at home for the week (still eating out 1/2 a week though!) but as in london all weekend and it's a hectic I bought some soup

Wanted to tell u girls about it! Firstly the packaging is bpa free! It's gluten free and has spirulina in it and urs actually so tasty! It's low cal and low fat and im full and satisfied! It's soupologie green detox soup and on offer at the moment if any of u want to give it a go!

Have good days x
