Yep Trying did 2 humira two weeks apart then tested tnf 2 weeks later.

Good to hear encouraging stories, gotta just hope there s a golden egg left in there somewhere !!

Yep i asked mr S about iui and he said no benefit over TI as dh's numbers all good.

I signed my consent for humira today and hoping I can take it by Friday if the tb test back in time!
Had a lovely sunny day in London waking around and rem the fun times I had when newly married here. Visited our old haunts and ate a lot! Must get back on my diet on Monday. Now I have a bit more time due to tnf I'm hoping to loose a lot more!

Another bfn for me ladies. Trying not to let it be a downer as had a lovely night last night so a pain i had to test but needed to stop the pred.

Good luck seeking with your testing, we could do with some more bfps.

seeking glad to hear little Loki is ok. I'm kind of looking forward to puppy school but a bit worried he'll be a little dunce haha and happy birthday to your DH!

trying when we were on holiday there were adverts every day for humira on the TV, they seem to love the stuff over there for arthritis. Didn't you do a TB test for the other drugs? I had to do one or does it have to be a recent test?

So sorry hula, how many dpo are you? I'm glad to hear you had a good night, you deserve it.

I'm trying really hard to stay positive but it's hard. I'm convinced there won't be anything on the scan and they'll think I'm a lunatic.
I tell 'them' everyday in my head that I understand they're probably not going to stay with me but I love them regardless.
I've passed one mc milestone, next one coming up on Wednesday.
The prednisolone takes away any symptoms for about ten hours which makes me really paranoid because I never seem to get strong symptoms anyway and the progesterone constantly makes me think I've started bleeding. I also haven't slept through the night for more than three weeks now and I am the sort of person who needs their sleep.
Sorry, I know I shouldn't complain because I am so incredibly lucky.

It's a scary time snoopy. We here to hold ur hand. Glad u passed a milestone. When is ur scan? Keep being positive and busy.

Had tb test over a year ago when I saw mr shehata. Needs to be more up to date! I'm over the delay now. I'm just glad they know wot they r doing and hoping they sort out my stupid immune system! I hope the tnf works but like u said hula, even if levels don't come down its better than not having treated it at all. seeing pgd chaps tmrw as well as a scan at Argc...

I can wait until 12dpo to test as didn't start the pred until 3dpo, that'll be Wednesday but I'm going to do it Tuesday I think.

It's natural to be scared snoopy, I had that exact anxiety about nothing being there and thinking that is just imagined it all. You'll be fine. Stay strong.

Snoopy - it s totally understandable to feel how you do and the lack of sleep will be making it much worse. Just try to stay strong, you re on treatment so there s a very good chance this will work for you. Its good you ve got your first mc milestone out of the way and another one soon hopefully.

Thanks hula. Scan was fine except lining a bit thin . But already knew that and glad they know that now rather than when I cycle like last time! I think I get viagra for it?!
Pgd was left open to me. They had pro and con for both going for it and not. I think the embryologist was heading more towards me not doing it as this will be my first proper immune cycle with Argc and I should put my faith in that, I'm leaning more toreards doing it! Can decide over next few months

hula 10 dpo is still early, maybe there's hope? How many cycles of SO have you tried now? Not that it's any comfort now but I bet you're going to be one of those ladies who gets a bfp as soon as they finish the SO because it's just Sod's law isn't it. Was rosa doing SO?

trying glad you're appointment went well. There is so much to consider isn't there. I was going to ask if this would be a fresh cycle or if they'd use your little frosties but i guess it'll be fresh then. Viagra sounds interesting

seeking Wednesday will be a big day for both of us then. Hope you're feeling nice and relaxed as can be. I tried the free trial for fertility friend but the temping was just hopeless with shifts and hypothyroidism. Do you find it quite accurate?

I booked a scan today, for 12th October, the furthest away date I could get away. I figure if something is going to go wrong it'll happen by then and I'm just too scared to consider anything sooner.

Who else was it that was taking n-acetyl cysteine?

Yep doing fresh while dh still has sperm. Hope he still has some when we come to cycle it's such a long process!

Glad the appt went ok Trying. So hard to know whats the best descision to make re the pgd. I think sometimes you ve got to go with your instinct. I guess if you re leaning towards it then maybe it makes sense to have the reasurrance that you re putting a genetically normal embryo back so you know for sure its just the immune side of things to worry about. When do you start taking meds ?

Snoopy makes sense not having a scan too early, it won t change things and can just freak you out more. Will u be 8 wks ?

I ve just done cycle 4 of SO so two more and then thats it. Same doses next mn as i am responding well with two follicles each time, just not bloody well getting pregnant !

Oh well, i can t do anymore so think i just need to resign myself to what will be will be....

Glad your scan went well Trying. And good attitude with the whole process and its delays. I feel like I've spent the last year waiting... Only now am I starting to make plans that aren't dependabt on having a baby!

I'm waiting tb test when negative hunirahumira, then again 2 weeks after then retest 3 weeks after that. So will take 5/6 weeks till process done! Aghhhh! Am v v impressed with Argc so far. Long may it continue!

Glad your appointment went well Trying and you feel confident with ARGC. Re PGD I think if your gut is saying go for it, then maybe that's what you should do. At least gives you a little bit of reassurance.

Tested this AM. BFN used an Internet cheapie so could just be crap but I'm not holding out much hope. Refuse to waste a decent test when I know it's just going to be one blank, lonely line.

Oh sorry seeking. How many months have u been trying this time? Is it 2? Usually takes u 6ish right? It will happen just taking its time....
I dread to think the money I have wasted in preg tests!

Thanks trying. This is the 2nd cycle actually trying so yes, I know it's still early. Previously it's been 3,4 and then 5 months between mcs.
I just thought that (maybe naively) it would happen quicker with the treatment plan. Feel really deflated.

Also how do I now go about getting more drugs from DrS? Do I have to make an appointment? That seems pointless.

Sorry seeking. It's such a bummer when u see that bfn and also when u r spending money on treatment and getting Side effects etc. Rem the treatments works for u u got to 9 weeks last time, so it's just about catching the right egg and sperm. It will happen - just later than when u wanted....have u got a busy week to keep ur mind preoccupied?

On the positive side tho its sounds like your LP is better (i think u said u were testing at 12dpo) ?

Maybe try ringing Louise and see if you can get another month of meds without another appt ?

I think shehata likes to see u after 6 months of no bfp but at this stage I'm sure he would give u a prescription. As I was going to see him at this stage but then discovered low sperm count and went to I've clinic at month 10.

Fy1 my Gp is great and gave them to me! Saves money and time!

That message made no sense

Basically I mean I'm sure he will give u a pres without seeing him
He only needs to see u if no bfp at month 6 (as I got to this stage and so booked to see him)
