Trying. As I've said before... There's no real reason it won't work. You've had the humira which is brilliant and hopefully working to keep those pesky no cells down. And you've started pred, you'll have your IL's/IVIG soon. Take it one day at a time Hun. Don't think about the negatives. You're pregnant, you're on tx, this will work out for you. We are all willing this along for you as will be here to lend an ear or offer you words of support xx

Seekingmiracles · 11/11/2015 22:13

Welcome teakind, sorry you're joining us, but welcome. I hope you can find some support from this motley crew. Good luck with SO

Tryingno1 · 11/11/2015 22:16

Thanks seeking. U r all wonderful!

Teakind · 11/11/2015 22:22

Thanks everyone. Yes I'm on month 2 of super ovulation. The letrozole gives me really bad headaches but hopefully it will work. I'm due to test on Sunday so just counting the days now. It's hard not to let your imagination run away from you isn't it.

It was this time last year that I feel pregnant with my first one but I had a bleed on Christmas Day and knew it was over. I had to wait for the EPU to open again on 29th to confirm and then did medical management on New Year's Eve. Safe to say it was horrendous so it would be lovely to have some good news before the year is out.

Sorry for all your loses too. It's horrible and it's so sad how many people have to go through it.

Hula how are you finding it? As cruel as chemicals are, hopefully it's a good sign that conception is occuring?

Snoopy your news is fantastic! Do you mind me asking how long you were having treatment and if you did SO too?

Trying, I hope the next couple of days go quickly for you. I've had that wait before and it's horrible. It sounds like you are getting fantastic care and are really doing everything you can.

Tryingno1 · 11/11/2015 22:23

Will try sleep tonight . I wish I didn't know my hcg but then if I didn't know I know I would want to!!!!

Seekingmiracles · 12/11/2015 09:09

Just had a positive appointment with my new GP. They checked dh's last sa results - as last Drs were incompetent and just said 'motility is slightly lower than average'. New GP filled us in on the analysis - turns out sperm count was good but motility just 1% under normal. He said that a result like that is fine considering the count and morphology were normal and we're falling pregnant within a normal time frame. So dh very happy he doesn't have to do another sample!
Also referred me back to RM consultant who will hopefully just arrange a management plan and I can contribute care at GP. Feel much more relaxed now.

Hope you slept ok Trying.
Good luck for test day on Sunday Tea
Hula when do you test?

Tryingno1 · 12/11/2015 09:23

Seeking that's great!!!! As a sperm expert now hahaha I can tell u 1 percent makes no diff. And great count and morph are good. And u do get preg in normal time frame so now u can chilkax!

Just had my blood done. God I hope they have climbed. Didn't sleep for more than 2 hours! On a better note it's a lovely sunny day in London.

Seekingmiracles · 12/11/2015 09:32

Thanks trying. helped that the GP used to be an obs and gynae registrar! Much more helpful and understanding.
How long does it take for the results to come back trying? Hope the numbers give you a little bit of respite from the worrying.

Tryingno1 · 12/11/2015 09:38

She said between 12-4 so will be a good girl and wait patiently. Oh good god!
Oh great that's v reassuring for u! Yay.

Tryingno1 · 12/11/2015 10:06

I've got those back twinges I had last time..I'm not very cool and calm am I. Not sure how u other ladies do it! I can't do anything except wait it out.

Tryingno1 · 12/11/2015 11:10

It's 73 today which is ok. Not amazing but still even ok. It's meant to double in 48hours and this was 20 hours after last. Ive just been called and asked in for intralipids. Not sure he wants me on pred?!!

Tryingno1 · 12/11/2015 11:40

Argc get slated for being ott but he's being v methodical and careful! Not sure what the bad press and hype is about?!

Seekingmiracles · 12/11/2015 14:37

That's good then Trying. Within 48hrs I'm sure it will have then doubled.
I can't see that being ott is a bad thing. Yes it's hard work but quite frankly when you e reached the point of using ARGC you're probably willing and wanting to try anything.

Tryingno1 · 12/11/2015 14:44

I agree seeking. someone took him to the general medical council and there was a panorama prog on the ivf clinic many years back which I watched when I was younger and single! I suppose it's like all those consultants who have rosa and sunny unhelpful comments about why are they in il and pred etc.
I'm not on pred!? He's happy with my hcg so doesn't think I need it today. But I feel very worried I'm not. Hoping intralipids do their job for today and then if hcg misbehaving tmrw he might give it to me.

When are u testing seeking it must be soon? We need more good news!!!

sunnyday01 · 12/11/2015 14:55

At least it's gone up trying, you have to try and relax a bit otherwise you are going to literally send yourself mad with all this thinking and symptom or not symptom spotting abd trying to second guess what's going on!

Strange they are not giving you pred - have they said why? I guess if you didn't know Dr s plan you maybe wouldn't question it ( although knowing you you probably would ;) seriously though sounds like you are in good hands x

Tryingno1 · 12/11/2015 14:59

Haha sunny! Ur right u know me well!!!
Well I popped the pred the minute the got my bfp as expected to have it but not had in today me and dh decided to just do as we are told this time!!! Ow it gets very confusing. I'm not 100 sure but I got the idea he's (mr t who runs Argc and makes all the descions) quite particular and careful about pred (clearly not humria ivig and il!) and currently he thinks given my hcg rise it's not needed. I think if it falters he may add it? He's upped my clexane now to 20 twice a day (same dose as my last ivf cycle), my prog is twice a day and asprin in the am. Back at730 tmrw so another hcg! This is daily for 2 weeks!!!!!

Seekingmiracles · 12/11/2015 15:07

From what I've heard from other ARGCers, the daily tests allow for a very tailored treatment plan, so I'm sure if he has any reason to be concerned he'll put you on pred. But I think you need to put your life (pregnancy) in their hands and trust that they're on your side. Try to do something nice you enjoy each day to take your mind off it.

I'm going to test a week Saturday I think. So I'm currently 2/3 dpo. So that would put me at 11/12 dpo. I need to just try to forget about it for now.

Hula2 · 12/11/2015 15:14

Trying- great to hear your hcg is rising and in just 24 hrs it sounds just right. Argc sound really intensive but i m sure thats why they get the results they do and actually much better to do that than be in limbo not knowing if its working out or if there s anything u could be doing. Keeping everything crossed for you and your little miracle bean.

Tryingno1 · 12/11/2015 15:20

I can't wait for dh to arrive tmrw! My sister place turns out is having massive work done to it so I'm in a hotel till its done next week! So I'm Billy no mates - hence on here a lot at mo :)! Can't tell my mates I'm in London as they will wonder why the hell im not at work! And only one knows my history and she's on holiday (how very rude!!) anyways dh arrives tmrw for weekend and so we can do fun things. Couple of gallaries I want to do and some shopping of course ;)

Tryingno1 · 12/11/2015 15:23

Seeking just forget it! I know it's a cliche but I didn't try this month and didn't even think about dtd! Turns out we dtd on ovulation day by coincidence but that's was only time all week as dh had flu weekend before! I wasn't thinking a natural bfp was ever on the cards!!! So as annoying as it is, maybe if u don't think about it, it really does happen?!!! (I clearly would NOT be able to do that unless literally all hope had been taken from me-which it had!!)

sunnyday01 · 12/11/2015 15:26

Ha ha trying! We've been on this board too long together!

Seriously though the worry never stops it just moves in from, when will I get pregnsnt, too omg I'm pregnant what's goung to happen/am I doing the treatment right , to is anything wrong, to is it moving enough etc etc my current worry is labour after seeing a particularly graphic video at sn antenatal class last night - not quite sure if I can do it!

I guess what I am trying to say is you will worry all the way through (and for good reason after what we have been through) but you have to find a way to deal with it otherwise you will actually go mad!!

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 12/11/2015 15:51

sunny is right, the worry doesn't seem to abate. I was speaking to my line manager earlier and I've gone from not being able to say the 'p' word to whispering it, so ridiculous and childish. But I made some progress, I bought some pregnacare today, didn't want to do it before the scan in case I jinxed it haha
She did disclose though that there is another lady in the office who has been through the same thing as us and she's a few weeks behind me so hopefully it works out for her too.

Ladies I've put on a stone and a half Shock a fucking stone and a half! I'm five foot one!

I think teakind was asking - I haven't done SO I was doing the pred from ovulation and then intralipids, aspirin and cyclogest. I am also taking thyroxine (dodgy thyroid), wobenzym, n acetyl cysteine and metafolin in place of folic acid as well as vit d3

Tryingno1 · 12/11/2015 20:59

Sunny I know ur right! I'm not being very calm and collected I know. I think because I thought I needed Ivf I feel like if this fails I'm gonna be so mad that I'll need that again? I still can't bel I got a bfp, and I don't think it will happen again, against the odds...It's not the nicest process to go through...anyways lets see result tmrw. Not feeling too hopeful though. But I just need to take one step at a time...

Snoopy don't worry re weight gain I reckon most will come off now u have stopped the pred...and ur jellyfish needs some energy :)

Waves to others ...another sleepless night for me!

billy15 · 13/11/2015 09:37

Hi ladies
Sorry Ive been quiet, I started a new job 5 weeks ago and its been a nightmare!! (here now so will type fast!)

Trying Im SO pleased for you!! what fantastic news! xxxx

I haven't had time to read over all the posts but hoping everyone is doing well and there seems to be a lot of positive news on here!!!

I had a faint positive yesterday!!! Was a big surprise as we weren't actively trying this month due to needing to wait 6 weeks for the hydroxy and we thought we'd avoided the fertile window! But it was faint and my period was 3 days overdue. I either ovulated early - and its on the way out, or I ovd late and its early to test. Anyway I wiped red blood this morning and ive been having cramps, flu-like symptoms and a tummy ache! So looks like my 3rd chemical! The more chemicals I have the more I think its too late for us and our eggs/sperm are bad quality!
Im sure the clinic will say its because I hadn't been on hydroxy for long enough and maybe their right but this is 3 chem in a row and last one was on pred.

Has anyone else had flu like aches and pains when having a mc? I have everytime especially pains in my legs. I think I read that flu symptoms can be a symptom of nk cells.

Not sure if I should carry on with the meds! Particually the cyclogest as my experience is that it delays my period. I don't want otget to 7 weeks again and find theres nothing there. I think I will do the beta test this time if the bleeding doesn't continue (had nothing since this morn).
Whhaaaaaa!!! SOOooooo tired of this!
Hugs to you all!! xxx

Tryingno1 · 13/11/2015 09:49

Hi bully. Congrats on the bfp but sorry it's not as strong as u hoped and that you are spotting too. I wouldn't stop anything as rosa and sunny both spotted and were fine! Can u call Louise and ask for advice? I've anecdotally read about the flu symptoms post bfp but I've never had it....hoping ur ok and that the spotting spots

All this is just so bloody stressful!! I'm waiting for my hcg cal and my tummy is flipping. It's like scan anxiety every bloody day! But I prefer it for my having to know everything type personality!
