At least you have options to choose from, but I think sticking with agrc is best for you with the monitoring they do.

Please please try to not overthink things or stress - easier said thdn done but just deal with one day at a time and don't goigke everything!

sunnyday01 · 11/11/2015 12:41

Pressed send to early... You've got over that first stage of getting two lines, just remember you will be doing everything in your power to make it work x

Rosa27 · 11/11/2015 13:16

Oh wow... So much going on!
Trying- fantastic news :)))) but, I know, one day at a time and agree with everyone, you're in the right place for maximum support which you both need and deserve.
Sunny and Snoopy- hope you're both doing well?
Drttc - sorry it wasn't a good month but impressed with your positive approach to staying focused and practical.. You just have to be that way.
Hula- I really, really want you to get lucky too this month.. It does feel like you are getting there.

I've 4 week to my c-section and developed obstetric cholestasis. Gutted and terrified. Has anyone heard of it? I will be monitored twice a week but even if they see my liver indicator levels rise above 40 and medicate me, reports suggest there's no significant correlation between levels and outcomes .. So stillbirth remains a higher risk. I'm terrified :( the itch is also not what I need or how I planned to spend mat leave which has just started. Anyway just thought would let you all know as it's rare .. But so is RMC and I seem to be a magnet for rare, bad things!
Hi to everyone else and hope to hear more positive news from you all soon xxx

Tryingno1 · 11/11/2015 13:16

Just had my bloods done and someone will ring me with a plan for what tx I need. However when I asked about Intrlaipids they said they would have to wait for my repeat immune bloods which take a week to come back!!!!! I told them a doctor better ring me tonight as 1 week is too late. They have treated their patients for high nk during their Ivf cycle already and I haven't had any.
On way to flat gonna pop the pred and progesterone as I know I'll be given that.

If they don't give me intralipids how do I get them from mr s???

Drttc · 11/11/2015 13:44

So good to hear from you Rosa! Thanks for the encouraging words. Oh no I've never heard of that :( Though I did hear of this one lady who had a terrible rash all over towards the end of her twin/ivf pregnancy. Not sure if it's the same thing? She was really uncontainable but the babies were just fine. It's going to be hard being so vigilant about these complications for the next few weeks... But being monitored regularly should help ease your mind? Almost there!!!

Trying- I reckon it wouldn't be hard to get intralipids from Dr S! Just ring or email Louise...

Rosa27 · 11/11/2015 13:50

Thanks Drttc- it's back to wishing we had windows into our wombs isnt it!
Trying- agree.. If you can get to Surrey I'm sure you'll get it there quickly, fingers crossed x

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 11/11/2015 14:22

Hi rosa. So happy for you, just four weeks to go! But it's a shame you've got this extra worry when you should just be looking forward to meeting your little boy. Now that they know they can be extra vigilant and take extra care if you.

trying can't believe they're stalling over intralipids but you shouldn't have any problems getting them at Epsom.

Two and a half hours to go, I feel sick.

sunnyday01 · 11/11/2015 14:54

So lovely to hear from you rosa - sorry to hear about your itching - it just seems to be one thing after another sometimes doesn't it? I've just been diagnosed with gestational diabetes so I'm trying to get my head around that!

I'm starting to think now about birthing plan etc - I want something that is the least rusk to the baby (and me) but not sure about c-section at all - it's so hard!

Drttc · 11/11/2015 15:52

Hang in there Snoopy!!!

Hula2 · 11/11/2015 17:02

Good luck Snoopy - rooting for you that everything is just fine.

Rosa - sorry to hear about your complications, does just seem that people on this thread are destined not to get an easy run. Really hoping it doesn t cause u and bubs too much problem, you re so close now.

Trying - i d def push argc for ILs sooner or go to Mr S, as the others said i would have thought you could get them in epsom pretty quick. Just keeping everything crossed for you.

Unfortunatley i had some bad news today, my best friend rang to say she was in hosp with an ectopic Sad, its was her 1st preg, she just got married and is 40 like me. So sad for her. They wanted to do surgery but as she s already bleeding and its small on the scan, she s only 6 wks and has minimal pain so has asked for monitoring and conservative management. Drttc yours happened naturally didn t it ? Have far were you ? Really hope she doesn t lose her tube.

Drttc · 11/11/2015 17:17

Hi Hula I'm really sorry to hear about your friend. Yes mind did happen naturally at 6 weeks 2 days. However, they never really could confirm that it was ectopic. My hcg was only at 400 the day they tested me (though we don't know if it was higher before that day). They thought they saw something in my tube but weren't sure if it was a small cyst. Basically, it may have been an ectopic that cleared naturally or it may have been just a tiny (couldn't be seen on ultrasound) pregnancy that didn't develop. I really hope it happens naturally fit her... They'll be monitoring her hcg and if it goes down on its own that'll be good. :(

Hula2 · 11/11/2015 17:31

Thanks Drttc, they ve let her home and arranged monitoring, and she was waiting for her hcg but said a urine test had been fainter so fingers crossed.

OP posts:
Tryingno1 · 11/11/2015 18:22

Hi rosa so sorry to hear about that. But ur near the end now and I'm sure ur being very carefully monitored. Doesn't seem very fair after everything does it? Do u by any chance rem ur hcg at 14dpo? I'm very worried mine is quite low.

Hula sorry about ur friend how devastating does she know your history ? I'm sure she will find support in a lovely friend like u and I hope things work out for her

Yeptmrw if hcg is climbing as it should I'll have intralipids or ivig. They don't me to hold of pred for now too but I took it already and glad I did! My hcg is only 59 so I'm not feeling too hopeful. I suppose it's what happens over the next few days?

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 11/11/2015 18:34

hula so sorry to hear about your friend and I hope they manage to be as conservative as possible with treatment. Life really isn't fair sometimes is it.

trying good to hear they're getting the treatment going. Ivig sounds crazy, how will they decide what you should have? Don't worry too much about hcg, you're in good hands.

Another thing I wondered about ARGC is how do they take so many blood tests in such a short period of time? Admittedly by veins are rubbish but I've had two in the last couple of days and I look like a junkie haha

On my way home now. Everything apparently looks great, measuring another day ahead so 13+3 and he said if he had to guess this early he'd say team pink! The doctor was great, I know it's difficult watching the money drain out of our account but I do feel really looked after when I'm there.

Drttc · 11/11/2015 18:35

Hi Trying- can you be sure of your dpo? You probably weren't monitoring your ovulation...

Drttc · 11/11/2015 18:37

Congrats Snoopy!! Sorry I think I've asked before but have you just been scanned privately or by a particular clinic? Now you can relax for at least tonight!!

Tryingno1 · 11/11/2015 18:46

Totally wonderful news snoopy! And a girl!!!! We never get girls on here!

So I wasn't monitoring but I had to last month for the Argc and I got a positive on day 15. So if I ovulated day 15 I'm 14dpo and if I ovulated day 16 I'm 13dpo. Rosa has a hcg of 51 on 13dpo (I looked back!!). So I'm not a million miles off but I'm also now very concerned. I think it's the rise tmrw and the day after which matters

Such a crazy day.

Hula2 · 11/11/2015 19:02

Snoopy - wonderful news, so pleased for you !

Trying - try not to worry about the number, i ve seen charts with a range of 17-119 for 14dpo and as everyone says is the rise thats important. Why did argc say hold on pred ? I ve just remebered that when i d just taken humira dr s said hold on the pred for my first couple of SO cycles as i had enough immune support from humira, may have been because i had four injections but might be worth double checking tomorrow as to why they are saying wait tho one dose will have been fine but just for ongoing.

OP posts:
Tryingno1 · 11/11/2015 19:24

Thanks hula. Gonna just take one day at a time
Argc said if my hcg is going up tmrw they will start me on pred and also intralipids or ivig. I know it's the rise that's most imp but I would have loved for them to say it's 400 or something rather than an "ok" no. Anyways for today I'm preg against al the odds. Tmrw we shall see.
Ps natural kitchen has a good gluten free range!

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 11/11/2015 19:37

drttc I went to dr s's at Epsom, I'm just too impatient and I'm glad it's been done now, I really wish I could enjoy these occasions and the doctor did say he was very optimistic and I shouldn't worry. DH loved it.

trying that's good! Look how well rosa's doing!

Seekingmiracles · 11/11/2015 20:04

Fabulous news Snoopy Grin
Rosa lovely to hear from you. Sorry you have another thing to worry about but you're sooo close! The Drs are looking after you, keeping an eye on everything for you. Hang on in there.
Trying - try not to worry too much about the number, as the others have said its the rise that matters. I'm not sure knowing number actually helps, it just gives you something else to worry about.

Teakind · 11/11/2015 20:50

Hello all, do you mind if I join you? I'm under Dr S having had two miscarriages and delayed conception and have been diagnosed with high nk cells. I'm doing the super ovulation plan as I'm so impatient!

Congratulations to everyone who has had good news! I've been On here before but haven't said anything. Trying's news made me as I think it so wonderful and I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 11/11/2015 21:20

teakind you're more than welcome to join, although I wish none of us had to be here. Have you started SO yet?

Hula2 · 11/11/2015 21:37

Welcome Teakind, sorry for your losses, this is a great place for support through this difficult journey. I m on cycle 6 of SO with Dr S, i have high nks and cytokines. i have a son who took 2yrs to concieve, a mc 18mns ago and i think a chemical last month. Hope the SO works for you soon, what month are you on ?

Tryingno1 · 11/11/2015 21:50

Welcome teakind do join us. I hope u get a bfp very very soon! Have u started so yet?

I'm in freaking out/worrying about every twinge. The hcg has worried me I might just find out the next 2/3 and if it's ok just tell them
I don't want to know but they can keep taking it and doing wotever they want to do to my meds!!!!

I don't see why this one would work??! I've not had any preconception immune except humria and dunno!? Gonna be the longest week ever.
