Tryingno1 · 11/11/2015 09:36

I've just packed a suitcase cancelled work and heading down there
They said they will start monitoring me now. I've taken asprin but I moved my pred to London as I never thought this could happen!
My dh has like 4 soerm and we not even trying. I literally am terrified. I had a glass of wine on Monday, and humira gave me trust so I had a pressary last week :(

Drttc · 11/11/2015 09:38

OMG!!!!!!!! Are you late? What made you test?! This is amazing!!!

Drttc · 11/11/2015 09:43

And don't worry about a glass of wine! Even when your pregnant the odd glass is okay

sunnyday01 · 11/11/2015 09:49

Oh wow trying that is such great news but you must also be so shocked! maybe somehow you were relaxed thinking you were going todo ivf over next few months and it happened - it only takes one sperm. I know it's early days but I'm so happy for you xx keep us posted x

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 11/11/2015 09:53

trying that is so amazing!!!!! Is this not what we were discussing two days ago?!!!!

Tryingno1 · 11/11/2015 09:53

I don't know I have tested for months!!!? I actually started weeing this am and stopped mid stream (haha!) and then did it. Something just made me. I think I'm quite an intuitive person and just something made me
Period due today if 28 day cycle. I'm 27/28.
My sister is having huge works done to flat! So I'm gonna stay in hotel and dh will join me on Friday. This unemployment has been timed perfectly. Praying crossing everything and hoping.

Hula2 · 11/11/2015 09:54

Trying - dont worry about the wine or thrush treatment, i ve known people be litterally plastered and then find out they were preg and all was ok and the way they treat thrush in pregnancy is with the pessaries and even so that was a week ago so dont panic. When was your last af ?

OP posts:
Drttc · 11/11/2015 10:00

This is so wonderful :-D Do you think they'd scan you today or have you definitely had AF in the last 4-5 weeks?

Tryingno1 · 11/11/2015 10:03

No they won't scan just my progesterone and hcg. I'm hoping I can get intralipids and or ivig today too as I had my tnf rechecked on Monday but not my nk cells-but they were raised when checked a few weeks ago.
Def had my period m 28 days ago as I was in Italy when it came
I had a sanitary towel on all day yest as I had a busy day and didn't want an accident!
Plus I haven't been eating very well due to my diet to loose weight. Well it's been healthy but calorie deficient.

Right just calm down. Deep breaths.

sunnyday01 · 11/11/2015 10:21

I'm keeping everything crossed for you trying x

Drttc - not sure if protocol for SO has changed with Dr s but when I did it, there was a cost for the letrazole (drug used to boost follicles) but I was lucky that my gp gave it to me on prescription, and the cost of the injection which I found was £40-ish from boots (but costs do vary pharmacy to pharmacy), then there was the cost of the appt with Dr s including the scan which was £210. The first couple of months I saw him as he wanted to see how I was responding but after that I went to a local place for a scan (cost £100) and then sent the results to Dr s for instructions on when to inject, DTD etc (cost £100) - although not much difference in the price it saved me travel costs and time and I could be a bit more flexible with a scan times to fit around work rather than needing the whole day off to trapse down to Epsom. All in all, without travel costs it was £250-£260 a month x

sunnyday01 · 11/11/2015 10:23

Trying - don't worry about the calories - the little bean will just take what it needs and leave you with the leftover x you are doing everything right just try to stay calm x

Tryingno1 · 11/11/2015 10:30

Thanks sunny. U prob know wot this feels like! Except my urologist told dh that the chance of a natural conception was non existant.
I'm wondering if it could have been a faulty hpt now :( I'm on train so I can't do another!

Seekingmiracles · 11/11/2015 10:35

Trying - this has made me cry! I'm soooo happy for you! What a little miracle!! I really think that this is it for you. I believe in fate. Try to relax and just go with what ever plan ARGC have for you. This is the most amazing news!! GrinGrin

Drttc · 11/11/2015 10:51

Thanks Sunny! For some reason I think it may be a lot more expensive now... I've emailed Louise. Hope they let me do it from home as I really can't take time off of my new job. Was it just one scan per cycle?

Trying we're all here cheering you on!! If you need piece of mind but a test when you arrive and take it. But false positives are pretty rare unless you've got some remnants of a trigger shot I believe!

Tryingno1 · 11/11/2015 11:04

It was a first response and wasn't out of date. It came up st away and was as dark as control. But I'm still doubting it! Argc will be doing daily hcg and progesterone levels now so I'll just go with that.

Aw bless You seeking. So kind.

Thanks for all ur wishes.

Now that the shock is settling the fear has massively kicked in.
I had a tiny bit of brown on Monday - isn't that too late for implantation? I thought it was my period coming a bit early as humria can do that. Now I'm imaging back pain?!!!

Oh I really believe in fate too! But I just hope I get the tx on time. Please please please.

Hula sorry last month was a chemical but like u said, at least something tried to implant and maybe it just wasn't the strongest embryo. Don't worry about the progesterone like I said the whole Ivf world takes it so I can't imagine the evidence is v strong.

Drttc glad ur feeling a bit better. It will happen for u soon, just enjoy ur wine and coffee and talk to mr s about so if your unsure but think sunny has answered most things.

sunnyday01 · 11/11/2015 11:07

Yes just one scan per cycle - usually day 10/11

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 11/11/2015 11:07

I think faulty hpt's are incredibly rare, there was a thread about it recently. I wouldn't have thought any of your meds would cause a line either.

Tryingno1 · 11/11/2015 11:34

Had to tell parents as they r visiting my sis this week and then when I rock up they will know. Mums already excited so had to tell her off. Sister is behaving and not said anything except see u soon. Wish I didn't have to tell anyone!

Tryingno1 · 11/11/2015 11:35

Part of me was wondering If I should just follow mr s plan!! As this is a natural conception. But then I haven't seen him in over 1.5 years and I did have his plan with my last preg and it failed. So maybe the increased intense monitoring from Argc will be better for me? Obv it means staying in London for a while though....

Seekingmiracles · 11/11/2015 11:42

I think for you now Trying it will ease some of your worries if you stay with ARGC. I think the level of monitoring will make you feel more in control.
Keeping absolutely everything crossed for you X

Sorry you had another bfn Drttc Sad

Drttc · 11/11/2015 11:42

Oh Trying we know it must be so confusing. You're at a point where we just want to know the right thing/plan to do - whatever that is! Just trust your gut. Wasn't there an option that was like a combined Dr S and Argc protocol?

What a crazy morning it's been for you and you're fam!!!

Drttc · 11/11/2015 11:43

Thanks Seeking :-/ It's tough but news like this is so uplifting isn't it?! Leaning towards the SO if I'm allowed to do it from home...

Tryingno1 · 11/11/2015 12:03

It's very similar protcol at Argc
Asprin pred and progesterone. But I think they will also give clexane and maybe prog injections. They either do ivig or Intrlaipids.
It's just daily bloods for 3 weeks which is quite intense and immune measuring weekly. I think I will just go with them as that's wot I'm geared up for. If they piss about I'll go to mr s for intralipids.
