drttc and seeking you are right. DH gave me a talking to earlier after I admitted that when I go to appointments I don't look out the window in case I see any bad luck magpies Blush

I spent most of my weekend doing housework Angry I said to DH he can't expect me to do everything now I work mon-fri and he said 'well I don't notice things, just leave me a list', I shouldn't have to write down things like laundry and hoovering!

Seekingmiracles · 01/11/2015 21:01

He sounds just like my dh Snoopy, he doesn't notice stuff either apparently. Drives me insane continually having to tell him!

Tryingno1 · 02/11/2015 08:55

I think it's a man thing! They just don't get it!
Snoopy good luck telling ur work, and try enjoy being pregnant!!! Because you are and out of danger zone :)

Sending hula seeking and drttc loads of positive sticky vibes and hope u all get a BFP this month. The thread is slowly picking up again :)

AFM just patiently waiting till next Monday for rot tnf. I dreamt last night after humira it had shot up to 83!!!!! (30 being normal). The immune labs close in USA over Xmas so even if it's down not sure if they will let me cycle over Xmas as they check immunes during injection phase and then at a bfp then weekly. Anyways one step at a time ow I'll drive myself bonkers! Dh meds to increase sperm didn't do anything so we need to see urologist to change them!

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 02/11/2015 18:25

What meds did they put DH on trying? You did really well to freeze so much. I'm sure you're result will be good, you definitely deserve some good fortune.

I told work! My new boss is so lovely! But the GP hasn't bothered calling me back since Friday.

We got the scan photos from last week today and I've kind of gone into paranoia overdrive. It looked so clear and baby like on the screen when it was moving but the photos are blurry and I'm really paranoid now that the jellyfish has a lumpy forehead and I'm paranoid it's neck is too thick and its nose is too small. Dr s would have said if he thought it looked bad wouldn't he?

Tryingno1 · 02/11/2015 18:44

Snoopy breathe!!!!! Everything will be fine :) ur 12 week nhs scan will check all that stuff. I'm sure bean is beautiful! It's mad isn't it how rea they look. I think that's why my 9 week loss hit me so much-I saw the little hands and feet :(

Well done for telling work!

He's on tamoxifen! The breast cancer med! Was interesting collecting it from pharmacy. It's meant to make his brain and testes work harder to churn out spedm but has made zero improvement. It's ok he still has sperm and as long as he has some I'm staying calm (sort of!)

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 02/11/2015 19:00

Thanks trying, as ever the voice of reason. I'm going crazy with no one irl to talk to. I'm sorry I brought back bad memories for you.

Wow I had no idea they could use tamoxifen for that! And looking on the positive side you were worried he wouldn't have any so do you think it's at least holding the numbers where they are?

Tryingno1 · 02/11/2015 19:28

no no!! no bad memories - i think about the mc all the time to be fair nothing anyone says makes me trigger it off. I'm sure its something we all feel on this thread.

i rem when u had one of ur mc, u left the thread so quickly as u were so distraught. u had often crossed my mind wondering if u were holding up ok. and now look!!! ur our of danger zone :)...of course keep talking on here - this is the place where we all get it and u can vent and cry and shout!

when is ur next scan? is it the nhs one? when they will show u that the forehead is just fine!!!

yeah as long as he has sperm its fine, as I've heard of women who DH has NO SPERM or like 100 in the sample and got preg first go (obv no miscarriage drama on top of it all!).....They cant tell me how much DH has as when a count is below 1 million its hard to give a count but its prob around thousands...and really you only need one per egg! but obv v worrying when a normal count is 20 MILLION!! anyhows.....today I'm feeling calmer about the whole soerm front. today worried about my tnf - i dreamt it was 83!!! i think i already shared that with u guys actually. wonder wot ill worry about tmrw!!

Tryingno1 · 02/11/2015 19:29

ps next stage of meds is something called anastrozole as the tamofien hasn't worked. either way as long as it holds things I'm pleased.

Tryingno1 · 02/11/2015 19:50

Drttc and seeking I know u follow some Ivf threads. Have u come across anyone who's had 4mc with I've or a mix of ivf and natural pregnancies. I literally cannot find anyone in my situation I keep worrying Ivf is making my chances of miscarriage more!
I find loads of ladies with BFN after cycles, or maybe one/2 mc that could be expected to be chromosomal loses

Seekingmiracles · 02/11/2015 22:39

Stop worrying Snoopy, I don't think at this stage a baby actually looks like a baby anyway... More a blob with arms & legs!Wink The next scan will put you at ease. Everything will work out just fine.

Sorry the Tamoxifen didn't help dh's sperm Trying, hopefully the new drugs will at least hold them. But like you say, it's just one you need. You'll be fine.
I don't look at the I've boards but I am on a local fertility support FB group. No one on there in your situation but then there's not actually any other than me that fall under RMC. Of course there are a few that have had mcs but that could all fall down the chromosomes. I wouldn't worry too much or look into too much. ARGC are going to really look after you and monitor and adjust everything to give you the best possible shot. There's no real reason that it won't work.

Drttc · 03/11/2015 15:08

How's everyone doing?

You holding up Trying?

Did you speak to work Snoopy?

Where are you in your cycle Seeking?

Good luck with intralipids tomorrow hula! Is it a long trek for you?

Wave to everyone else!

Drttc · 03/11/2015 15:08

Em I missed a whole page of responses... Lol whoops! Ignore me...

Drttc · 03/11/2015 15:16

Okay back up to date!

Snoopy- hooray for a nice new boss! Definitely nothing to worry about with your scan. I take it you're waiting on GP for 12 week scan? So exciting!

Trying I follow ttc-ers on Instagram and there are a whole load of different stories! Actually I just read up on the actress Jaime King. She's 36 now and has 2 children. She went through 5 miscarriages, 26 IUI's, and something like 4 ivf. So IUI's are a very similar to natural miscarriages I assume... So there's an example!

Tryingno1 · 03/11/2015 15:27

Thanks drttc I like these hopeul stories
I'm ok actually just counting down days till I can start. Delays r sooo annoying!

When are u ovulating? Or has that happened hence the Intrlaipids this weekend?

Seekingmiracles · 03/11/2015 15:53

Wow! Never knew that about Jamie King! 26 iui's!! That's loads!! Poor love!!

I'm currently only cd6! The boring part of the whole cycle!

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 03/11/2015 16:05

I had read about Jaimie King before but hadn't realised she'd gone through so much. That is one determined lady and I guess it evidences the idea that if you can just keep persevering you will get there.

trying did the previous clinic give any indication as to what they felt happened last time? Is it possible there could have been early chromosomal issues even if the embryo looked good? Also, do ARGC use that special glue?

Apparently you have to self refer to the NHS hospital DH chose this time. They're going to call me back tomorrow apparently Hmm

Drttc · 03/11/2015 16:23

I find it so amazing how the culture of silence around miscarriage is crumbling! So many couples are coming out with their stories- and thereby giving us much needed insight into how much success there really is :)

I'm on CD12 now and it looks like I ovulated on Sunday evening or Monday morning. My ovulation strips were very dark early Sunday morning and completely blank by Monday afternoon.

Also- today hubby had a semen analysis done! Since we needed to BD he only 'withheld' for just over 24 hours... But we're more interested in abnormalities than quantity as (arm) quantity seems to be okay. We did try to reschedule the appointment but they said nothing else available until February! So just had to go with it...

Tryingno1 · 03/11/2015 16:41

Ah great drttc I'm sure it will be fine even if your one day abstinence! Fingers crossed for u this cycle. Hope t all falls into place. Did u get ur bfp in China last time?

Snoopy my consultant just said that it could be chromosomal. But obv who knows! I suppose that's why I want pgd as in massively uprooting my life for Argc and if I have all immune tx and daily bloods for 4 weeks(!!!!) and spend so much to then find out chromosomal would be so annoying. So currently options are - put 2 back no chromosomal testing and u would be very unlucky to have both chromosomal. Or have pgd. Seeing embryologist on Monday to discuss further as it's complicated process with some problems associated with it! Partly some embryos not making the right stage on day 5 for biopsy so you have to do it on day 6 and then freeze and do a frozen cycle-then the worry is what if they don't thaw! Plus I can't quit work, go back, then quit again! Luckily I change my mind mid cycle and if I have loads of embryos and they r speedy (which they were last time!!) I'll do it. But if I have slow ones and not many I won't do it! Dh sperm count may have changed quality and I'm 6 months older so god knows wot my eggs are doing! Worried next cycle will be a disaster! But saying. That last cycle was perfect and I still mc! No rhyme or reason. Just got to keep my eyes closed and pray hard!!!

Read up on Jamie King gosh! She had pcos and endo. Bless her. Strong lady.

Tryingno1 · 03/11/2015 16:43

Hula remind me again what ur tnf did with humira
Good luck for il tmrw!

Hula2 · 03/11/2015 19:38

Trying - my tnf went up from 31 to 34 after first two injections, did two more injections but didn t test again as couldn t do anymore humira so mr s said it would be a waste of £300..... would have liked to know if it did come down if it hadn t been for the extra cost. 95% of people come down so you ve got a great chance you ll be down and good to go. What was your last level ?

OP posts:
Tryingno1 · 03/11/2015 19:43

Thanks hula. I don't want mine to go up :(
We're 33.6 and Normal is 30.6.
After second humria is its sill up they check at Argc as they give intralipids to try lower it-so that's good news for u tmrw. Then they start your cycle regardless. Even if it's a bit up still the IL should lower it.

Hula2 · 03/11/2015 21:01

That s good to know, lets hope the ILs are the extra push i need.

Your blood test is next week isn t ? How quick do u get the results ?

OP posts:
Tryingno1 · 03/11/2015 21:02

Yep on Monday and then I'll be ringing them from Wednesday am to chase numbers but then have to wait a week or 2 for the plan from doctors

Hope tmrw goes ok! X

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 03/11/2015 21:23

In case I don't get time good luck tomorrow hula.

Hula2 · 03/11/2015 22:58

Thanks !
