Sorry for all the af's guys :-( WineCake

When I was TTC it felt like bfp's were in abundance and super frequent. I now realise that must not have been the case! I patiently lurk awaiting all of yours though x x

tessiegirl · 27/08/2015 11:50

Hello ladies, I wanted to pop on to say hello Smile and give you lots of support. I always like to keep up with how you are all doing.

DizzyNorthernBird · 27/08/2015 12:29

Happy Thursday all. I bet you're all getting ready for a lovely bank holiday weekend. Meanwhile I'm back to work tomorrow Sad but I at least get Monday off to break up my working week!

Cd29 today, ff still hasn't confirmed ov and I'm nervously waiting to see what tomorrow's temp is as it dropped back slightly today. I usually do see a slow rise in temps and it doesn't really get high until a few days after ov, but I'm worried that it'll drop back again tomorrow which will mean I haven't ov'd yet Confused. So far I've only got two highs over the previous six temps so I may even have to wait a few more days to see if ff gives me a line!

Nice to see you grads on here, I hope you're all doing well!

beaut you aren't out yet, I think it's sounding very positive and am keeping my fx!

woolly hurrah for static smiley! I wish my cycles were as short as yours, I don't get my fertile window until nearly 3 weeks after af finishes!

knickers it's good to see you back!

I'm thinking about going on slimming world for a few weeks. I seem to be piling on the pounds and my job isn't allowing me to run as much as I'd like at the moment. I desperately need to shed half a stone as my bras and clothes are getting tight and I can't afford a shopping trip!!

DizzyNorthernBird · 27/08/2015 12:35

For you ladies that have tried SI's before, can these help with bringing forward ov and shortening cycles?

Hairstylisttoboris · 27/08/2015 12:38

Waves at pikx and tessie nice to read your news too chops

Hairstylisttoboris · 27/08/2015 12:41

Posted to soon. Hello to all my fellow Ttc-ers. Just been on a lovely holiday to near nights hometown. Had a peaceful Internet free few days but man did it rain lots. My dsc and ILs were with us too which was generally good but quite challenging. Still in the early and dull part of my cycle. No news. Yawn.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 27/08/2015 12:49

Hi Boris glad you've had a nice few days away

DizzyN thank you. I'm sure Af is just teasing me as usual. The only symptom I have is wind still haha but I always get wind near Af

I don't know if you remember but I joined slimming world. I put on 2lb in my first week despite sticking to it. All my friends have lost loads of weight on sw but I always struggle. So I joined ww as I lost 4 stone at ww after ds2. I've lost 5 lb in two weeks at ww so at least it's coming off now Smile

DizzyNorthernBird · 27/08/2015 12:53

Ah that's right beaut I remembered discussing it somewhere on here recently but couldn't remember who with! That's great that the ww is working for you. I've got on well with sw in the past as it only involves tweaking my normal diet slightly. I'm having steak pie for lunch then I'll work out a food plan this afternoon!

spinning I've just found a thread about soy which you are on....just working my way through it as there's loads of pages....are you still taking them or did you not get on with them?

Kirjava · 27/08/2015 13:02

dizzyn SI brought forward my ov by 4 days and my AF by the same.

I've decided I'm going to not take si's this cycle and take vitamin b complex instead. I think I have enough oestrogen and actually need better progesterone levels to stop the spotting and lengthen my luteal phase. So here goes my experiment!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 27/08/2015 13:03

DizzyN I searched all the soy threads on here too and for most it does bring ovulation forward. For some like spinning I believe it just messes with the cycle. Give it a go it can't do any harm. I took it days 5-9 this cycle Smile

Hairstylisttoboris · 27/08/2015 13:48

dizzyn I think soys time OV for a few days, 3-5 or so, after you finish the 5 day course. so if you have an early OV it can push it back or a late OV would bring it forward.

DizzyNorthernBird · 27/08/2015 16:43

Thanks beaut/kir/boris. I'll look at giving it a try next cycle, feel like I don't have much to lose atm as my cycles always differ and are pretty long anyway. Not too sure about the headaches though :/
