Oh bacon sarnies, don't mind if I do!

kir been thinking about you. Eod is the advised solution for all of us. It's a mamout effort but it's what my doctor and the nhs promote as the only reliable method of conception.

Kirjava · 13/08/2015 09:07

Aww thanks boris thankfully DH is always up for it and it's been all rather nice. I've been trying to not get too hung up on worrying about whether all our bits are in order.

Mummyofonesofar · 13/08/2015 09:10

Yeah to be fair I was told 3 times a week throughout my cycle for best chance of conception. If we both had the energy then we would have done but timing for opks and stopped a couple days after ov worked best for us. Otherwise we would have ended up stopping before ov. This BFP was our best effort - so many tonnes of sex is the way forward! Surprise surprise Grin

DizzyMerry · 13/08/2015 09:50

I think eod is the best way forward, especially if there's difficulties pinpointing ov. Dtd wise we did the same as we always did eod from cd 8 and two days in a row when I got a positive opk.

Bean I forgot to say my DH had 0% morphology and was taking 1000mg vit c and wellman conception vits from June.

RalucaMorena · 13/08/2015 10:14

Yeap! Dh is on wellman and vit c this cycle. I'm on pregnacare so we are holding our breath just now!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 13/08/2015 13:27

We didn't manage to dtd last night. I don't think it was ewcm yesterday so that's no ewcm but a static smiley on the cb. Makes me think I'm right that I'm just not ovulating Sad

I'm going to go to the gp next month for some advice. This month I've used SIs, Epo, pregnacare, opks and DH is taking vit C so I'll do that again next month and try acupuncture as well.

Beansprout30 · 13/08/2015 13:35

Dh is also on the vit c this will be his third month so fingers crossed this will help too!

Kirjava · 13/08/2015 13:41

Is anyone poas soon? I want some bfps on here damnit!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 13/08/2015 14:06

I'm not due to Af until 26th Smile

Hairstylisttoboris · 13/08/2015 14:57

I'm due to POAS next week sometime, possibly Thursday although I'm not tracking this cycle properly....

loopylou1984 · 13/08/2015 18:03

*AF due 24th**
And it will be AF given that I got no sperm in there in the fertile window!

I'm going for dinner tomorrow night with some very old friends, and it will be the first catch up in over a year... I should be so excited! BUT, after seeing a couple of things on fbook i'm fairly certain that I'm going to get baby bombed by one of them. No one going knows our issues, and I don't want them to. But how can I get through a whole meal like this? I'm feeling very sorry for myself today, and very jealous of every pregnant woman I see. I hate feeling like this. I think it's because I'm doing nothing to achieve a baby this month.

Will read back... Xx

Hairstylisttoboris · 13/08/2015 18:10

Oh sammy really tough. The months where you stand no or low chance of conceiving are horribly painful, without the baby bombs of close friends. I keep seeing pregnant women everywhere... Hang in there lovely. X

Rainy34 · 13/08/2015 19:28

Sammy I feel like a part of me dies when i get baby bombed, that sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach that actaully makes you physically sick, i feel awful for feeling so jealous but i think its only natural to feel like this when you want something so badly, keep ypur chin up , your not on your own,we are all here for you!! xx

spinningirl10 · 13/08/2015 19:37

Oh Sammy, that sounds crapHmm Will you still go? It sounds like it will be a very difficult evening for you if your suspicions are confirmed.

loopylou1984 · 13/08/2015 20:51

Thanks all.
I'm still going to go, I'd be gutted if I was wrong and missed out on a catch up with them all. I might just fein illness if it gets too tough. Xx

loopylou1984 · 14/08/2015 07:17

FF confirmed ovulation today... On cd19! So cd22 now, and 3dpo.

This is amour 3 days later than expected making predicted embryo transfer date 9th/10th October with one cycle to try for a miracle in between! Xx

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 14/08/2015 07:35

Sammy How did it go last night. October isn't too far away now although I get that it probably feels that way to you. Dtd between now and then will hopefully be so much better without the added pressure. DH is feeling the pressure here at the moment and because of that we only dtd the day before ovulation & two days before so I feel I'm out again this month Sad

Hairstylisttoboris · 14/08/2015 07:58

beaut you are not out. One month we had two ladies who got bfps after only dtd twice in the month and one troll who got a bfp after having sex only once, by relaxing and not worrying about it bitch

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 14/08/2015 08:17

Boris thank you. It's hard to feel positive isn't it when it's taking so long. I'm hoping the Sis have done something but I know for a lot it's the 2nd month they notice a difference. I shouldn't complain. I hope everyone ttc #1 gets there soon.

Perhaps it's the awful weather making me feel down today. Typical it's hair salon day for me and whenever I go it rains Angry Thinking of a restyle a graduated bob for my fine flyaway hair. It's nice to have treats and take our minds away from ttc. 2dpo Smile

loopylou1984 · 14/08/2015 08:20

Beaut, I agree, you're not out! Will keep my fx for you! Remind me, what cycle is this for you?

It's tonight I'm meeting then, I'll let you know how it goes. Am nervous though.
I know Octobers not far really, it's just the waiting that's killing me! I'll get over it, perhaps the weathers getting to me too... It was as black as night all morning yesterday! Xx

Hairstylisttoboris · 14/08/2015 08:29

You've got to love August....

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 14/08/2015 08:34

Sammy this is cycle 11 for me. It would just be nice to get that BFP by cycle 12.

Hmm I thought August was supposed to be a heatwave. We are going on one of those sun holidays for the first time this year in October to Yarmouth so here's hoping for some sun in October.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 14/08/2015 08:38

Sammy I just checked your stats cycle 21 I can completely get that the waiting is getting to you. I know it's not much comfort but at least you know something will actually be getting done now to dramatically increase your chances. The end result will be so worth the wait. In the meantime eat chocolate and all the yummy things as who knows you may go off them when you get your BFP Smile

DizzyMerry · 14/08/2015 12:33

Sammy that's a difficult situation to be in and I completely get that you want to go. I hope your suspicions are not confirmed and you have a good time but if they are then it's understandable that you may want to leave if it gets too much. Everything crossed for next cycle. You're almost there just keep focusing on this and remember that fortune cookie.

You're definitely not out beaut as boris says there has been a few ladies on here who got their bfp's after only dtd twice and the infamous poster who only dtd once! It can happen and it will happen for you. It's extremely hard to keep positive but you honestly will find a way to.

Nomio hope you feel better soon.

Boris and everyone else in the tww I have everything crossed for you.

eskimoflo · 14/08/2015 13:12

Hello everyone! CD20 for me, if I've been lucky enough to actually have a cycle! I had my blood tests this morning, so it's just a waiting game until mid-next week when I can see if I have actually ov. On the bright side, my skin is much less dry than when I took the 50mg clomid and was on 'CD20.' I am hoping that it means I have higher progesterone this time round. Other than that, I have no symptoms whatsoever!

Since the newbies have been with us for us reasonable amount of time now, I was wondering if any of you would like to join our FB group? It's very quiet at the moment on there and you may help to liven things up a bit. Kirjava, Raluca, Beautician and anyone else I've missed? PM me if you fancy seeing what some of us look like in real life Grin

I bloody well hope we get a BFP soon! We are very much overdue one! x x
