Rainy - is your appointment private or nhs?

Mummy - I don't mind you voicing your worries on here. Xx

Rainy34 · 11/08/2015 20:57

sammy its nhs

Rainy34 · 11/08/2015 20:58

Thanks dizzy xx

Mummyofonesofar · 11/08/2015 21:04

Thanks everyone I really don't know what I would do without you all xxx

Ral milky wee doesn't sound good at all. Get it checked out.

Sorry you're struggling so much Rainy I hope dh gets in your way enough to be supporting you big he going to the appointment. Do you have questions written down to make the most of your time? Best of luck for Friday.

loopylou1984 · 11/08/2015 21:05

My nhs appointment after my scan was about 30 minutes I think. They said next step was HyCoSy, but also went through treatment options, answered our questions and even helped us with nhs/private rulings. I can't say I felt truely cared about, but they certainly didn't rush us. Xx

Rainy34 · 11/08/2015 21:23

mummy dh is coming on Friday , I have wrote down some questions and all my cycles since last June and the length of spotting too, don't think it helped that af came last week so I found everything getting to me including dh being messy around the house!!

sammy thanks that is good to know , I'm sure each case is different , maybe she did not have many questions where as I am armed with my note pad

Beansprout30 · 11/08/2015 22:01

Hello all

pixa your pup is a little cutie, what's his name? Pets really are amazing during difficult times, if it wasn't for mine keeping me occupied I think id go mad. Pleased you've been able to speak to people and you've got some support, I feel like I want to tell a few people about our struggles ttc but I just don't know how to bring it up, especially with my parents who think I don't even want children!

mummy try not to worry, as chops said it's unlikely the same thing will happen again

rainy best of luck with your appointment on Friday, try and keep positive.

Af turned up early for me on Saturday which took me by surprise but actually felt easier to take than waiting to see if she's gonna show and in the meantime convincing myself im pregnant!

So onto cycle 15 and I've booked an acupuncture session just to see if that might help at all. Really looking forward to it and hoping at least it will help me stay positive! dizzym did you say you'd had a session this time and then got your bfp??

Beansprout30 · 11/08/2015 22:02

her name sorry pixa!

DizzyMerry · 11/08/2015 23:53

Bean I've had accupuncture for about 3 months but the month I got my bfp I went before and just after ov as recommended by my acupuncturist. The months before that I would only go once and then not bother again! Fx it works for you too.

Mummyofonesofar · 12/08/2015 11:02

Great Rainy I hope you get as long as you need in your appointment.

bean when is your BFP date for cycle 15? Good luck with the acupuncture, I hope it gets you your BFP!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 12/08/2015 11:37

Bean I'm going to try acupuncture next month. Good luck

Cd 18 here and I've got ewcm at least think I have its sometimes hard to tell if it's ahem left over from last night. It would fit right with my opks though. So dtd last night will dtd this evening then DH is away tomorrow night so hopefully dtd Friday. That should cover my fertile time shouldn't it ?

eskimoflo · 12/08/2015 11:42

Beautician Sounds good to me! CD18 for me too. Got blood tests on Friday to see if I've ovulated. Don't feel any symptoms, so I'm not holding my breath. Going to try to persuade DH to DTD tonight just in case, but he's been working long hours this week, so not sure how successful it will be! Confused

eskimoflo · 12/08/2015 11:43

Bean Good luck with the acupuncture. I had it around March time to try and bring back my cycles and periods. It didn't work for me, but I liked it and found it really relaxing.

RalucaMorena · 12/08/2015 12:07

Hi lovelies!
Thanks for your opinions! I got to drinking a lot of liquids last night and took ibuprofen and a sachet of cystitis relief. around 11 pm i took another wee and it wasn't milky anymore. this morning I checked again and was ok and the pressure feeling was gone but still took a paracetamol. Hopefully it was just lack of liquids yesterday as I was not home and totally forgot to drink water during day.

Beansprout30 · 12/08/2015 21:33

dizzym was fertility the main reason you started acupuncture? I will be a couple of days past ovulation when I go as it was the earliest she could fit me in but will stick with it for a few goes I think

mummy new bfp due 6th sept

DizzyMerry · 12/08/2015 22:09

Bean yes I had accupuncture for fertility. I had low progesterone. My GP said although I may have some ov activity it wasn't strong enough. I also have endo and low ovarian reserve. My acupuncturist was very thorough and gave me a diagnosis with an action plan. Definitely stick with it and review each month to see whether there have been any changes.

Nomio230 · 12/08/2015 22:12

I just wrote a giant post & MN ate it. AngrySad I am too tired to write again, so will just say sorry for any of you who have AF & get shagging those of you who are ovulating!

Pixa, your puppy is super cute!

Eskimo, I have my fingers crossed the Clomid has worked for you.

Rainy, I have been seriously unimpressed with NHS fertility services, but I know some people have had really good experiences. I hope you are one of the lucky ones.

Beansprout30 · 12/08/2015 22:57

I will do, thanks dizzy I thinks low progesterone could be an issue for me, my luteal phase is on the short side so I hope she might be able to help with that. Can't wait to get started!

spinningirl10 · 13/08/2015 07:11

Morning Smile

Bean I had Accupuncture for a while. I enjoyed it and it was quite interesting. I've also had reflexology which is good. Anythings worth a try I think. I used fertility specialists for both of mine, it didn't work for me but tbh I think Dp would be better treated than me. Good luck.

Nomio230 · 13/08/2015 07:52

Let us know how you get on, Bean. I have the same problem & would be interested to know if it works for you.

Kirjava · 13/08/2015 08:28

Oh mummy now I want a bacon sarnie!!!!

Cd22 still don't think I've ovulated yet as still lots of ewcm and wet cm. feeling cranky though so fx its ramping up to pop an egg out. Feeling pretty down about this whole ttc business. Dtd at least eod and will do so until cd36 when I'm expecting af to appear.

Kirjava · 13/08/2015 08:28

*crampy not cranky. Although I am feeling cranky too!

Mummyofonesofar · 13/08/2015 08:30

kir wow EOD right through your cycle - that is good going!

Kirjava · 13/08/2015 08:47

I have to as I've been unable to pinpoint ovulation accurately. Petrified of missing my chance!
