I will catch up in a minute just thought I'd pop in. I opened my new beauty room today all very exciting. Except the day got off to a bad start. DH went to work with the salon keys in his pocket and then I bumped the car and scratched the paintwork. So annoyed at myself as I've only been driving two years and was doing really well I could kick myself.

Anyway in ttc related news I'm on cd10 so all very boring here still Grin

lilygirl81 · 04/08/2015 11:30

Beautician I hope your first day goes well and you build up a good client base quickly. I reversed into a pole the day I got my new car, thankfully I was going slowly, but I feel your pain.

nightandthelight · 04/08/2015 12:34

Pic of ring please Dizzy Grin my cat frequently tries to eat mine!

Good luck beaut!

Mummyofonesofar · 04/08/2015 13:40

Good luck Beaut hope the rest of your day goes uneventfully! You've just reminded me I've been driving over 2 years from June!

lilygirl81 · 04/08/2015 13:58

I had the horrible realisation that I have had my licence for over 17 years!!! That was a depressing fact. I'm trying to persuade DH to learn, but I have an automatic and I'd rather he learnt on a manual so he can have a choice of cars

Nomio230 · 04/08/2015 13:58

Show us the bling, DizzyN!

Good luck Beaut, I hope you have lots of customers.

I did a FRER this morning. BFN, which I think is pretty definitive at 11DPO. I am just off to throw myself out the window!

Mummyofonesofar · 04/08/2015 15:10

Sorry for the BFN Nomio hugs x

MrsKittenPie · 04/08/2015 16:02

nomio - bfn on a frer here too today so I'll join you at that window

eskimoflo · 04/08/2015 16:11

Sorry for the bfn's folks Cake We didn't dtd last night as DH annoyed me but we made up today and got one in just now. X

eskimoflo · 04/08/2015 16:13

beautician it's CD10 for me too. When did you start dtd?

RalucaMorena · 04/08/2015 16:15

As I said yesterday we are gearing up for dtd. Yesterday we did once but was still early as I'm only cd9 today but I like to keep things fresh army wise. So if you hear of any earthquakes in the north it'll be me.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 04/08/2015 20:27

Thank you for the messages. First day went great I only had a two hour gap which is rare for a first day.

In my defence I went into a low wall I couldn't see it in my rear views and I thought it was a fence as there is a high fence behind the wall.I only saw the wall when I got out of the car aargh

Nomio I haven't actually started dtd yet as we've been so busy & tired.Tonights the night for a flush out (how sexy) then from Thursday I will use opks Smile and dtd as much as possible

Nomio230 · 04/08/2015 21:37

Come on up, Kitten. I have chocolate & alcohol.

How is your shoulder today, Eskimo?

Glad you had a good first day, Beaut. Let's hope it continues the same way. Smile

I think we need to ban all Bumsnetters from going on holiday. It is far too quiet on here!

Thanks for asking Nomio, I had an awful night and morning with it, but when I got up, I had a quick soak in the bath and it loosened up a bit. It's been ok today (ok enough for me to get some CoC in anyway ;) ) but my fingers are still numb. which is telling me that I might be in for another rubbish night as it seizes up again. Sad I do another physio appointment booked in for Monday, so that is keeping me going! How are you feeling today? Flowers

MrsKittenPie · 04/08/2015 21:49

nomio - chocolate and alcohol? Sounds perfect, I'm there Grin

Nomio230 · 04/08/2015 22:06

I am feeling pretty crap to be honest, Eskimo. I am honestly giving up hope that it will ever happen for us. The only thing keeping me going the last few months was the thought that we would finally be starting IVF & now we can't even be referred for another 6 months. I am just so incredibly sick of the whole thing. I eat properly, take vitamins, have loads of sex at the right time, yet nothing happens. It is killing me.

How are you doing? Sorry you are still in pain, but it is good you still managed to DTD. I have my fingers crossed the Clomid will work its magic for you this month.

eskimoflo · 04/08/2015 23:08

Oh lovely Sad It's shit isn't it? I only know one thing, and that is that you can't lose hope. You have to keep believing that it will happen for you, and it definitely will. You deserve this so much and you're doing all the right things. You are allowed to feel down and fed up, but have a wallow and then get back on the horse (or cock!) next month. We are all here for you and we are all cheering each other on.

I know it's easy for me to say this now, as I'm on CD10 and just at the beginning of another rollercoaster of emotions. It may be that it amounts to nothing again, but there's always that shred of hope isn't there? You can do this, you are strong enough! Flowers Flowers

Nomio230 · 05/08/2015 00:07

Thank you, lovely Eskimo, that was just what I needed to hear. It is just so hard to keep going sometimes. I think I am just having a mopey day. I will bounce back again soon. Smile

nomio hope you're feeling ok this morning. eskimo is absolutely right. We're all here for you, cheering you on x

Rainy34 · 05/08/2015 06:49

Nomio im sorry you are feeling down, its truly toture ttc, some people can get pregnant easy and people like us its so much harder, its totally understandable how you feel, i truly hope that your bfp is just around the corner xx

nightandthelight · 05/08/2015 08:10

nomio I seem to have missed what has happened with your IVF! Why the six month wait? That is truly rubbish :( don't lose hope though lovely, that time will come and you will get your baby Smile

Sunshinegirl2015 · 05/08/2015 08:34

Nomio sorry to read this. How long have you been trying?

Think I might be out this month - don't think I've ovulated Confused as currently on 8th day of high fertility flashing face on clearblue dual hormone opk.

Not sure if this has happened to me before as this is only second month using opk's and last month I got a peak after 5 days. Has anyone else experienced this? Did AF come that month? I'm currently on CD19 of an average 32day cycle.

Last month I also noticed I had a short luteal phase and ended up in A&E when AF arrived with excruciating pain on CD29.

Felt like having a little cry yesterday as I'm taking all the right supplements and eating well doing everything I can to feel in control of the situation except that I don't feel in control at all.

DizzyNorthernBird · 05/08/2015 08:53

Oh nomio. Flowers. It's totally understandable that you're feeling helpless about your situation. Please don't give up hope though. Six months must feel like an eternity right now but it will fly by and you'll have your referral before you know it. And once you're there, from what it seems on here things move pretty quickly afterwards. Or maybe you'll follow in the footsteps of some of the others on here and get a surprise bfp whilst waiting for your referral! It does happen! There's no reason why you can't get pregnant and it will happen for you.

beaut congrats on the opening day but what a bummer about your car. I hope your day at the salon went more smoothly!

sunshine keep testing, you might just be ovulating late. A couple of cycles ago I had several days of what Looked like positive opks, but as I'm temping I could see I hadn't ovulated as I didn't get a temp rise. We stopped dtd as I assumed I wasn't going to ovulate, but then I got a temp rise about 10 days later than usual. I don't know whether this meant I'd ovulated very late but I didn't even get to make the most of it as we hadn't dtd for about a week!
