Hmmm not sure beaut maybe get some cheapie ones that you can poas without worrying!

Nomio230 · 03/08/2015 15:19

I would definitely reccommend getting some ICs so that you can POAS without fear! I use them from day 10 onwards, then start with the CB ones a couple of days later. I like the extra reassurance.

I have been headachy & grumpy lately too, Beaut, but am not on SI! In my case, I think it is stress.

nomio - yes another bfn here again Sad, so am torturing myself again - will be 9dpo tomorrow and spotting will start then too as usual.
How are you? Did you test?

lilygirl81 · 03/08/2015 16:51

I just got myself OPK & a thermometer (I'm on day 19 of 27) I'm hoping that just by buying them, I'll get my BFP so it's a wasted purchase. Would it be pointless to start temping just now so I get into the habit, and possibly see something that would suggest a BFP early?

Nomio230 · 03/08/2015 17:04

Nope, didn't test yet, kitten. I just can't face it.

Lily, it wouldn't hurt to get in the habit.

Ah thanks Mummy, I think I've blocked it outGrin

Beautician, yes I used soy 2 or 3 times but it messed up my cycle. I ov'd super early on cd 8 or something and the whole cycle was only about 20 days! Luckily it went back to normal as soon as I stopped taking them. I took them to get a stronger egg as I already ov on cd11 ish. I think they're good for bringing ov forward if you usually ov late and many got a bfp after using them. Good memory Grin

spinningirl10 · 03/08/2015 17:11

Oh and I also got a headache taking them but it wasn't too bad.

Nomio, we go back on Sep 1stGrin I can't wait, my house is still madness with all my students!

eskimoflo · 03/08/2015 18:36

Hi all, how are we? I have been AWOL for a short time as have had nothing to report and have been in agony for a week with a trapped nerve in my shoulder/neck area, which happened after I'd leant on a cushion for too long last week! I had no idea that it could happen, but that's what caused it- just sitting on my sofa in one position and leaning on my left elbow. Anyway, it caused the muscles to spasm and trapped one of my nerves, leaving me with shooting pains down my left arm and numbness in two of my fingers. I couldn't take any ibuprofen for obvious reasons, so the GP gave me codeine, which hasn't really helped. I managed to get an appointment with a physio and went this morning, and he's loosened it up and although it still hurts and I'm still numb, it feels a lot better, which is good because it's CD9 and I plan to start DTD tonight! Will have a read back and a catch up soon, but I'm going to go out and do an hour's gardening now. x x

Kirjava · 03/08/2015 20:18

Heyaaaaa eskimo! Glad you're feeling a bit less hurty! Woo to coc time! I'm just a few days ahead on cd12. We might be poas buddies.

Nomio230 · 03/08/2015 20:23

Glad you are feeling a bit better, Eskimo. I have had a similar thing before in my neck. I literally couldn't move it without being in agonising pain. It was not fun!

Enjoy CoC, Kir!

I am 10 DPO but didn't test today, as I am sure I am not pregnant. I am just really sick of it all right now.

Spinning wow ovulation was early. I'm at the stage where I'll try anything.

What is coc I keep reading it as Cock haha

RalucaMorena · 03/08/2015 20:27

Cd8 here and buzzing to start poas for opk! Grin
We're on his&hers since Saturday and I think I already get more cm Hmm or it is just my desperation of wanting to see better symptoms of fertility.
Making plans for dtd this month... yey!

spinningirl10 · 03/08/2015 21:11

Eskimo, ouch, that sounds painful! Pleased it's a little better but hope it buggers off completely very soon.

Ooh I'm cd8, lots of us gearing up to ov soon Grin

DizzyMerry · 03/08/2015 21:25

Good to see a few of you gearing up for CoC!

Kitten at 8dpo it's still very early.

Beaut CoC is cock o' clock which the lovely woolly came up with. She took a break from here a while ago.

Nomio keep going lovely, you will get there and I have everything crossed for your bfp this cycle.

eskimoflo · 03/08/2015 21:46

Kirjava I really hope we are POAS buddies! I have CD21 blood tests booked in on 14th August, which is a Friday, so I should find out on Tues or Wed if I've ov. If I ov on CD14 (next Sat) , then the Tues or the Wed when I'll be finding out my bloods will be 10 and 11dpo for me. If my bloods show that I've ovulated, then I will POAS on one of these days. If I don't ovulate, I will need a shoulder to cry on!

Nomio Bless you, you sound really fed up. Flowers Don't give up- you will get there. We all will! Have you had any more news on your referral?

Beautician I was going to reply to you but DizzyM got in there first.Grin

DizzyM I miss woolly. I wonder how she's getting on and if she got her BFP? Hmm

Thanks spinning There are lots of us getting off the blocks together this month. FX it's lucky for all of us! Smile

DizzyMerry · 03/08/2015 22:23

I miss woolly too eskimo and I wonder the same. I hope she stops by sometime to let us know how she's getting on. Fx you do ov this cycle and it's the bfp one.

spinningirl10 · 03/08/2015 22:38

Eskimo, I'm keeping everything crossed that you will ovSmile

chopsface · 04/08/2015 07:43

Morning ladies! Big hugs all round to those feeling the strain. nomio sometimes your bfp happens when you don't expect it. Fingers crossed for you. Still pee'd off about your referral stuff on your behalf too Angry Eskimo hope the clomid works its magic this month and dh is gentle with your shoulder!

chopsface · 04/08/2015 07:44

dizzym are you still here? Are you joining the FB group?

Mummyofonesofar · 04/08/2015 08:15

Eskimo sorry you were feeling so bad and glad you're on the up.

So many about to ov! Get dtd girls Grin

I miss woolly I wonder how she is getting on.

Chops DizzyM is on the April antenatal thread, I will pm her and ask her x

nightandthelight · 04/08/2015 08:22

Fell off the bus! Sorry for BFNs nomio and kitty although I despair of your early testing!

chops I think merry said that she doesn't have fb (how this is possible I'm not sure Grin)?

DizzyNorthernBird · 04/08/2015 09:01

Morning! Sorry I haven't posted for a few days, cd6 here so I have nothing interesting to say and I've been at work all weekend which is just dull!

I finally got my real engagement ring Smile, it's very dainty and simple and I love it! DP keeps worrying that I don't like it bless him, but I like the fact it's understated and not too blingy as it wouldn't be me otherwise. Plus blingy would be frowned upon at work. I keep worrying about scratching or knocking the diamond though Confused

Ouch eskimo that sounds painful! I hope you're feeling better and you were able to dtd without any problems! I often get a twingey nerve pain underneath the bottom of my shoulder blade, luckily it goes after a few seconds but those few seconds are just.....ouch!

nomio I'm keeping my fingers tightly crossed for a surprise bfp for you!

Did woolly leave the fb group too or is she still on there? She was lovely, it would be great to hear how she's doing. blatant hint if you're stalking us woolly......!

Lol lily, I'm always doing stuff in an attempt to evoke Sod's law...ie buying a new thermometer, signing up to half marathons, buying boxes of tampax, ttc vitamins etc.....hoping it'll get me my bfp Grin. It hasn't worked for me so far but hopefully you'll have more luck! I would say starting so late in your cycle with charting probably won't give you any clues as you won't have anything to compare against, but it'll get you in the habit in case you need to do it next month.

I'm 6 days into my new cycle and I've still not bought any new seven seas (trying to find them on offer as I refuse to spend five quid for one box), do you think it will make much difference to my cycle if I start them late or don't take them at all? I'm getting a bit fed up of forking out for them month after month.......

DizzyNorthernBird · 04/08/2015 09:01

waves at everyone else

lilygirl81 · 04/08/2015 09:20

Dizzy I still worry about knocking the diamond out of my engagement ring, and I've been wearing it for 3 years. Recently our puppy decided to chew my finger a bit, and got right over the stone, I completely panicked, imagining having to search through poop to find it!

I had really weird stomach cramps last night, think it was a combination of gas and new medication, but of course my irrational self thinks otherwise. Only 6 dpo!!

DizzyMerry · 04/08/2015 10:07

I'm still here chops and night has a great memory! I'm not on Facebook as neither of my friends and family are on there, apart from my in laws, so I just never joined.
