TTC - anxious over early pregnancy possible symptoms?

PrtyPsn · 27/06/2015 07:53

Hi,
First time post so please be kind :)
Been TTC for 4 months now (though month 1 we missed my fertile window)
I'm around 5ish days from AF being due but wondering if I could be pregnant for a few reasons: I e been really struggling to sleep the past few nights and when I manage to I have really vivid dreams (the kind when you aren't sure if they have actually happened when you wake up) I've been peeing almost double what I normally would and every now and then I get a weird feeling in my stomach, in a similar place to where I have period pains but it's not pain, it's more like when you over extend a muscle, just a twinge then it's gone.
Was wondering if anyone had similar symptoms? Sorry to pour all this in here (you've probably heard it a million times before) but nobody knows we are TTC so I'm kinda on my own with this!
Thanks

Hahahaha godmother it's not as glamorous as you would think being well endowed! Ever seen the show Miranda where she talks about rolling over in bed and then slapping together making a sound like a weird dick quack/fart? Totally true! Plus the ongoing expense of new bras, the back ache, people constantly asking if they are real... on the plus side if I ever got mugged I'm fairly sure with a good swing there's enough weight behind them to knock someone out Grin
To be honest I don't really look at other threads (I sometimes offer a comment if I feel I can answer a question) so haven't seen the jealousy but it makes me a little sad to know it's out there - we are all in this together, and yes we can rant about those people who get pregnant through eye contact and those who weren't trying/didn't want a child and get caught pregnant but on the whole we all care about each other here and all the BFPs on here do nothing but make me deliriously happy for the posters Smile

Thank you ladies.
Its still not really sank in. I'm so pleased I came on here and spoke to all u wonderful woman. Its certainly helped me and been so comforting.

Lol prty. U sound like my sister. She has ended up with permenant indents on her shoulders from bra straps.

LifeIsGood14 · 16/07/2015 07:59

This is such lovely news to wake up to! Congratulations Pammy!!

I week till AF due for me. Been at it like rabbits!! Lol all your comments about DTD have been hilarious!! X

PrtyPsn · 16/07/2015 08:00

You're more than welcome pammy we are all thrilled for you :) I'm sure it will take some time for it to be real for you but I'm glad we've been able to help no matter how minutely
Yes, the scaffolding that is labelled kindly by most shops as a 'bra' does indeed leave those dents in my shoulders? A handy little groove for the load bearing material Grin and don't even get me started on bikinis or strapless clothing Shock

bananafish81 · 16/07/2015 09:42

Annie2311 · 16/07/2015 09:51

Congratulations tiggery! Marvellous news xxx

bugista · 16/07/2015 10:03

Wohoo, congrats to tigger and pammy! And just in time for the weekend so you guys can celebrate. Cake

Haha I'm really loving all this chat about getting your bum in the air to help the swimmers! Good tips, I've never done it but maybe I should - as mentioned, it can't hurt. ;-)

I'm 12 DPO today and currently got some cramping/dizziness which I get with AF so I feel like she may be about to turn up. If she doesn't, I will test Sat morning - tested yesterday and the day before and both BFNs...I've come to the conclusion that testing early is not a good idea so given myself a stern talking to and will wait!

Hope everyone is having lovely Thurs mornings. :)

EmFlat · 16/07/2015 10:42

Oh wow wow wow! Huge congrats to Pammy and Tiggery!!! Fantastic news to wake up to! (I had a lie-in Wink) So chuffed for you •sends kisses•

EmFlat · 16/07/2015 11:06

Ps after the disappointment of yesterday's BFNs from cheapie and Clearblue, I had some pinkish-then-brownish discharge, but no AF this morning.

Another First Response shows up a second line Shock so I'm keeping fx'd! But must must must have self-restraint and not test til Saturday. Yes. No more testing til weekend. Mm-hm. •wonders how long before she caves in•

PrtyPsn · 16/07/2015 11:13

Oh my ladies, I'm super mega happy and proud of you all (even you early testers!!)
tiggery I'm over the moon for you, my lovely! We are drowning in BFP here!!!
em I'm sure I read FR are the most sensitive do maybe it is just a bit early for other ones?
Other half is still unwell so I'm not getting any action - CD9 now so he better sort himself out!!

PrtyPsn · 16/07/2015 14:08

Hahahahaha em Grin it's more like 'erm, how dare you be sick? Times a wasting and this egg ain't gonna fertilise itself! Put the bucket down, stop whinging and IMPREGNATE ME!!'

LifeIsGood14 · 16/07/2015 14:42

Another BFP!!! Whoop woop!! Congrats Tiggery! I'm feeling really nauseous today and have cramps. No idea what that means of it it is at all related to anything TTC.. A week till AF due.. Xx

LifeIsGood14 · 16/07/2015 14:44

Haha I said to DH the other day "I know your tired (he started his day at 4.45am and drove up and down the country) but I need you to hop on as I think I'm ovulating!! I feel like Monica from friends! :-)

TiggeryBear · 16/07/2015 14:49

Thank you ladies :-) my OH is taking the news worse than expected :-( been in tears most of the day :-( you're the ones keeping me going today :-) thank you.

Congrats Pammy!

PrtyPsn · 16/07/2015 16:15

Oh no tiggery doesn't sound like you mean happy tears? I'm sure it's just the initial shock and he'll come around soon. Big giant hug for you, my lovely, we are all behind you x

OP posts:
TiggeryBear · 16/07/2015 17:02

Definitely not happy tears :-( I've had enough of today. But I don't want to go home from work because I don't want to have to talk to him about it. I'm dreading it tbh. I'm knackered & so bloody hungry!!!!

PrtyPsn · 16/07/2015 17:39

Awww sweetie :( do you think it's just cos he wasn't expecting it to happen so quick? I'm making an assumption you were TTC cos just back tracked to your first post and you didn't fully say either way.
He might surprise you, he might have had time to reflect on it during the day.
If worst comes to worst then just tell him you don't want to talk about it right now but make sure you get something to eat and some rest, Hun xx

TiggeryBear · 16/07/2015 17:50

Not really TTC, but not really preventing if you see what I mean. I doubt that he's going to come round to idea too quickly. My SIL is expecting their 1st in September & he's been adamant that he's not even going to hold our nephew or have anything to do with him. (Sorry for rambling, I've no one else to talk to except one of my colleagues - who's also my friend outside of work, I filled her in at lunchtime after arriving at work in tears) on a brighter note, I don't care if I don't eat tonight, I've eaten enough today to feed a small army! Grin

PrtyPsn · 16/07/2015 17:57

No apologies for rambling, lovely - it's completely fine, in fact it's what we are here for x
Oh dear, he's not really the baby type then? It's tricky but if he knew you weren't using contraception then it was only a matter of time so he must have had some idea things might happen.
You still have lots of options open to you as a couple and as an individual. Such a shame he seems to have that attitude toward his unborn nephew, hopefully this pregnancy will make him see things differently.

I can't quite believe it, I just tested and got a BFP! I think I'm in total shock.

I really hope I can give someone hope - this is CD51 for me (last cycle was 75, one before was 39!). Crazy irregular cycles!

The line is quite faint though so will test again with morning pee.
