TTC - anxious over early pregnancy possible symptoms?

Hi,
First time post so please be kind :)
Been TTC for 4 months now (though month 1 we missed my fertile window)
I'm around 5ish days from AF being due but wondering if I could be pregnant for a few reasons: I e been really struggling to sleep the past few nights and when I manage to I have really vivid dreams (the kind when you aren't sure if they have actually happened when you wake up) I've been peeing almost double what I normally would and every now and then I get a weird feeling in my stomach, in a similar place to where I have period pains but it's not pain, it's more like when you over extend a muscle, just a twinge then it's gone.
Was wondering if anyone had similar symptoms? Sorry to pour all this in here (you've probably heard it a million times before) but nobody knows we are TTC so I'm kinda on my own with this!
Thanks

Godmother I think I was on CD39 so no chance of it being a implantation bleed lol. Probably a good thing as I had a very boozy girly weekend after AF hit Wink

AlwaystheGodmother · 17/08/2015 12:18

Bex - can you tell I was trying to be positive for you?!

None of that here today. Stupidly, in hope, 2 days after my last test did another one and another resounding BFN. Something hideous and final about the white box stretching out into infinity. I don't think we could have thrown much more at this cycle. Gutted.

AlwaystheGodmother · 17/08/2015 12:20

And I know it ain't over til AF arrives but.... Sad I just feel defeated.

PrtyPsn · 17/08/2015 13:30

Any one else a little worried neetie's DH might impregnate them just from the power of reading this thread?! Lol!
godmother massive hug, my lovely. You're not out of the race yet, deep breaths, positive thinking and step away from the sticks!!

Oh shit it. Sorry to hear that godmother. Massive hug to you (but avoiding squishing your sore boobs of course.) x

MummyBex1985 · 17/08/2015 16:21

Aww godmother I HATE that stupid white box. I got one the same day AF landed, bleugh.

Still keeping my FX for you though.

neetie1 · 17/08/2015 16:46

I hope so guys lol i guess i had better keep going with the ov kits even if its just for a few more days..

neetie1 · 17/08/2015 16:53

Lol just realised what u said no just want him to impregnate me lol

Stripes1983 · 17/08/2015 19:26

Sorry to hear that godmother - sending hugs and virtual alcohol ( if your abstaining!)
Neetie - no advice on the obv tests I'm afraid , mine are cheap ones so just a line but I'm yet to get a positive one - only used them the last 2 cycles but I think I'm going to give up on them as I can't seem to get a positive and then it's only stressing me out seeing negatives !

PrtyPsn · 17/08/2015 20:40

Same reason I've given up on OPKs stripes just so difficult to see the constant BFNs
Also, for those abstaining - a drop of rum flavouring (from baking aisle) added to clear liquid smells like convincing Bacardi, haven't drunk any yet so no comment on the taste when added to coke but my bottle of water/rum now smells the part if anyone gets too nosy Smile

Good work Prty ! Loving the faux alcohol solutions ! AF is due tomorrow although have no symptoms yet for anything - maybe my body has just decided to stop !:)

neetie1 · 18/08/2015 07:38

Yay solid smiley face whoop whoop..great timing too as parents down from tomorrow don't want any questions asked. Sadly also coincides with DH returning bad mood...but hoping that the increased input from yesterday lol will be enough to give that egg what it needs..

PrtyPsn · 18/08/2015 08:17

Woo hoo!! Excellent neetie could you not use the 'but my parents will be here so we won't be able to for a while' excuse for an extra boost Wink

Worth a try lol

AlwaystheGodmother · 18/08/2015 09:17

Keeping fingers crossed for you stripes, my sync buddy. I am keeping away from the sticks til Sat am when a large family party is happening that night - mine and DH parents will be there - and quite frankly I need the Good Grape to get through it!! Been awake since 5 am.... today is going to be loooong!
Good luck neetie - hope you 'got yours' x

Sylvie35 · 18/08/2015 09:22

AF due today, no sign yet but BFN this morning. That's probably me out for this month Sad

PrtyPsn · 18/08/2015 12:16

Stripes1983 · 18/08/2015 16:52

Thanks godmother , think I felt some twinges earlier that felt like the start of AF so I'm prob out the game this time, not planning on testing until at least sat /sun tho fx for you godmother and neetie ! And sorry for BFN sylvie but still time yet xx

Random rant: Why the f is it that of all the visits from af over the last 20 years of my life have I never had cramping or sore bazookas until at least 2 days before??? Only when i'm ttc do I notice these stupid symptoms and read waaaay too much into them! Tonight i'll be mostly eating doritos and sinking couple of mocktails!

Good luck everyone with impending visits from af, hope the b*tch stays away!

missybct · 18/08/2015 21:39

I'm following this - if I'm pregnant, it's surely a miracle - came off the pill mid cycle 08/08 because of hideous side effects. DP and I DTD pretty much entire of that weekend, then I had small breakthrough (I'd only been back on it a week) during which DP and I carried on unprotected because, well, we just felt like it (under full knowledge). He's sure we DTD 13th and 14th August and again on the 16th.

Since Monday I've had random attacks of nausea, and today especially I've had a lot of lower back/lower stomach cramping - however, I had a really nasty spell of this about 6 weeks ago which wasn't relative to pregnancy and was diagnosed with PCOS again! I've got tingly nipples (not full on sore boobs) and just this omnipresent feeling of pregnancy - tiredness, dizziness, higher basal temperature and just that feeling. Last time I got pregnant I had similar symptoms, but much later into the game (around 4 weeks) but was also straight after coming off the pill and with PCOS so who knows...

Cycles are total cack anyway - I'm reckoning the absolute earliest I can test is Sunday but HCG probably wouldn't be overwhelmingly present until following Tuesday - which is ironically the time frame DP is away on business and has sworn me to not test until he's back Hmm - I know full well if I am, I won't be able to NOT tell him so testing is probably out of the question! Grin

missybct · 18/08/2015 21:40

Oh and I did an ovulation test, bought on a whim, which came out resoundingly negative - so it's not ovulation cramps Hmm

AlwaystheGodmother · 18/08/2015 21:41

Is there room on your sofa for two pinky?! No wine for two weeks here & there's always time for Doritos let's face it. Have been thinking JUST the same thing for a week now.... never had pains like this, never been so late since actively deciding to TTC, never felt so consistently nauseous, never felt like I was on such a rollercoaster.... you are so right!!

PrtyPsn · 18/08/2015 21:50

(gate crashes the sofa with a bag of Doritos and a tube of Pringles)
Yeah, what is that all about?! I never have any pre-AF symptoms not is AF ever late but the second I start TTC it's every bloody month!! Ridiculous!

(Gets out the maltesers) Glad it's not just me! I've read everywhere that when ttc you are a lot more aware and can totally believe you're pg but I know I wouldn't miss this kind of cramping on a 'normal' month! And the boob thing, well, I look and feel like i've got 2 bowling balls strapped to me! Maybe i'm completely oblivious to it.... who knows! The symptoms I have are what I'd expect the day before af with the addition of this funny stitch and waves of sickness. Please don'the be optimistic for me as I had most of this last month too! Symptom psycho! Told you!
