TTC - anxious over early pregnancy possible symptoms?

Hi,
First time post so please be kind :)
Been TTC for 4 months now (though month 1 we missed my fertile window)
I'm around 5ish days from AF being due but wondering if I could be pregnant for a few reasons: I e been really struggling to sleep the past few nights and when I manage to I have really vivid dreams (the kind when you aren't sure if they have actually happened when you wake up) I've been peeing almost double what I normally would and every now and then I get a weird feeling in my stomach, in a similar place to where I have period pains but it's not pain, it's more like when you over extend a muscle, just a twinge then it's gone.
Was wondering if anyone had similar symptoms? Sorry to pour all this in here (you've probably heard it a million times before) but nobody knows we are TTC so I'm kinda on my own with this!
Thanks

Hi Prty im going to POAS next tuesday but i always get a preview of AF a few days before so ill find out that way, although my cycle is suddenly being un predictable so who knows. Its nice to talk about it here as we are keeping it quiet so we dont jinx anything. My closest friend is ttc with pcos for over 2 years now so Im not sure if I should tell her or not, knowing shes having a tough time. Its much easier keeping quiet now ive stopped drinking! (trial run...)

MummyBex1985 · 11/08/2015 18:29

Haha the stance isn't that hard - I think I'm just sick of the constant disappointment that comes from POAS (whether it's an OPK or HPT, it's all the same)

I use Ovia, never heard of Glow!

namaste30 · 11/08/2015 18:43

He cried, ha, in a good way! I hid in the kitchen peeking at him opening it:-) he said ' I have no idea what this is- oh, er, I have ordered a tablet from ebay- it wasn't expensive I promise ' and then he opened it . Totally awesome keeping a secret all day for that reaction and that face :-)

namaste30 · 11/08/2015 19:41

And he's not going to get told off about the electrical equipment ( but we do have 3 and 2 laptops !!)

Interesting to see how it goes with it!
I've been reading about SMEP today, anyone following it?

OP posts:
MummyBex1985 · 13/08/2015 17:34

I think the SMEP just sounds like common sense, I may well have inadvertently followed it without realising lol.

Hopefully nobody here is following it because that would imply it doesn't work Grin

Stripes1983 · 13/08/2015 18:52

So my mom said I was glowing today!! .... Of course my head immediately thinks I must be pg and not even considering that it's the new face mask I did the night before !! Wink

MrsShand1992 · 13/08/2015 19:42

Hi everyone, I was just reading all of your posts and they make me feel so much more sane! We've been TTC for 2 and a half years. I miscarried at 7 weeks back in April and I've had irregular periods since then. This month though I really feel pregnant. Over the last few days I've been needing the loo a lot more than normal and this morning I noticed my nips are huge!! But I want to be pregnant so badly that I'm concerned it's all in my head! I don't even know when I should expect a result on a hpt because I'm so irregular!!!!! Ahh!!!

PrtyPsn · 13/08/2015 20:59

Know what you mean bex does seem pretty simple and common sense for TTC, plenty of people shouting about how good it is but surely one of the most effective ways to get pg quick is to DTD a lot?!
Awww stripes it's really easy to link any and all symptoms :/
Hi shandy welcome to our thread :) if there's a symptom yen we will spot it! When is AF due?

OP posts:
PrtyPsn · 13/08/2015 21:01

Sorry shand bloody hell - 5 months without a drink and the cracks are starting to show!!
I know you said you are irregular but by how much? Are you tracking on an app or temping or anything?

OP posts:
MrsShand1992 · 13/08/2015 21:57

Haha, thanks so since my MC I've only had 2, they were around 30 days last AF started on the 29th of June and nothing else so far.

MummyBex1985 · 13/08/2015 22:32

MrsShand I feel your pain.

Before ten years of hormonal BC I was 28 days to the hour (literally) but now I'm on CD37, no AF or PG in sight.

Was just saying to my OH I'd rather just get AF so I knew where I stood!

Sylvie35 · 14/08/2015 07:47

I told myself I wouldn't symptom spot this month but I'm doing it anyway! AF due Tuesday, got cramps on and off, weird nipple pains, really sleepy... I suspect I'm probably just getting myself all would up! Is it too early to test? I'm not very good at this being relaxed and waiting thing! Wink

MummyBex1985 · 14/08/2015 08:06

Bah. CD38 and RWOD AF has reared her ugly head.

Still it's not all bad I suppose, pretty much guessed I was out this month and it looks like my fertile window next month falls whilst I'm on holiday so FX.

PrtyPsn · 14/08/2015 08:16

sylvie I would say it's a little early, could you hold out til Monday at least? We will be here to cheer you on!
bex that's just a big pile of poo, my lovely :( onwards to the next cycle though and live it up for the next week or so!
shand it's hard to call when you're not sure when AF is due... I guess you gotta trust your body and be prepared for some (possibly false) BFN? Hold out as long as you can

OP posts:
Sylvie35 · 14/08/2015 08:55

Thanks PrtyPsn, I will try! I don't remember all these things happening before TTC, probably didn't notice! This month feels different though - don't normally get cramps until after AF has started... I'm probably just imagining things to give myself hope - 2 people at work this week announcing their pregnancies has made me a bit over sensitive!
