TTC - anxious over early pregnancy possible symptoms?

Hi,
First time post so please be kind :)
Been TTC for 4 months now (though month 1 we missed my fertile window)
I'm around 5ish days from AF being due but wondering if I could be pregnant for a few reasons: I e been really struggling to sleep the past few nights and when I manage to I have really vivid dreams (the kind when you aren't sure if they have actually happened when you wake up) I've been peeing almost double what I normally would and every now and then I get a weird feeling in my stomach, in a similar place to where I have period pains but it's not pain, it's more like when you over extend a muscle, just a twinge then it's gone.
Was wondering if anyone had similar symptoms? Sorry to pour all this in here (you've probably heard it a million times before) but nobody knows we are TTC so I'm kinda on my own with this!
Thanks

Oh well I'm just going to do my best to enjoy the journey!

It's just nice to have somewhere like this where you know there are plenty of people in the same boat.

(especially when you log into FB and and see YET ANOTHER scan photo pregnancy announcement)

PrtyPsn · 01/08/2015 13:44

Hi bex I think I missed your first post due to my self thread hogging yesterday and today!! If I see another scam picture I think I'll delete my FB account!! OH is convinced I'm just noticing it more, Im convinced everyone is getting pregnant except me Confused

Same!! Everyone around me is getting pregnant or telling me they're gonna be Grandparents, Aunties, Uncles!! Ahhh!!

I was sick this morning. Confused DH asked am I sure I'm not pregnant.. I felt like saying just go and have a look through the bin you will find bizillions of BFN! Lol to be fair to him though I am very rarely sick. Can't remember the last time I was sick...

No pressure prty but I'm so excited for your due AF day :-)

MummyBex1985 · 01/08/2015 13:58

lifeisgood I've been nauseous for a week, currently sat by the swimming pool whilst my current kids swim because the stench of chlorine is making me very sick.

But I also had a BFN yesterday.

MummyBex1985 · 01/08/2015 14:00

Oh and prty it's definitely not that I'm noticing it more, I swear there were no babies or pregnancies until six months ago and now they're everywhere!!

Plus I also know that my two sets of neighbour couples are both trying (we are close friends) so you can guarantee they'll be next lol.

Unless we all fell together which would be awesome! Haha.

PrtyPsn · 01/08/2015 14:12

Jeez life I'm bloody sweating now haha!! I've been and bought some Asda cheapies (I say cheap but it was £3.50 for 2!) purely cos they said they can be used from 4 days before your missed period. Wanna be but now I kinda don't wanna cos I know it's too early!! I'm officially obsessed!!

It does your head in when you know you have tests stashed ready! I did 7 in total! That'sounds about £40 worth! Can't resist though! Xxx

PrtyPsn · 01/08/2015 20:57

Literally pissing our money away hahahaha!!

Feeling tired and emotional. Second day in a row I've woken at half five not half six ( early starts for agility comp) but this morning it comes with bad cramping/period style yesterday and now today have felt sick as well.
Apologies if this is tmi but just before af is due I use a cotton bud like a tampon/ swab and check for any blood , yesterday morning totally clear and fine, last night brownish and the same this morning. Coupled with the cramping I think this might be another disappointing month :(

neetie1 · 02/08/2015 06:24

Lol that was meant to say due to be getting up at half six for comp but woke an hr early and couldn't get back to sleep.

Annie2311 · 02/08/2015 10:17

prty! don't be downhearted- you're still early and I'm sure we saw an early bfn followed by a BFP on this thread just a few weeks ago. Big love to you sweets.

neetie- never TMI, remember that. Fx'd for you it's just spotting/implantation, if not shitbuggerbollocksbum! Have a good cry/scream and reach for the cake/wine/gin xxx

LifeIsGood14 · 02/08/2015 13:31

There's still hope prty keep positive Hun xx

PrtyPsn · 02/08/2015 16:08

Thanks ladies, I knew it was early but plans today meant I had to check just in case. I know I'm not down and out til the red lady sing lol just hard to see another BFN Sad

LifeIsGood14 · 02/08/2015 16:59

Oww Sad thinking of you and keeping everything crossed prty xx

pinky17 · 02/08/2015 17:37

I'm making it my mission to only test on af due date. It's so hard to resist but the disappointment is too much.

You're not out yet prty, don't look into an early bfn too much Sad I just want the next few weeks to fly by so I can get to testing time. I'll be back to being a symptom psycho!

neetie1 · 02/08/2015 20:25

Def no spotting (well fairly sure it's not) starting bleeding earlier and it's brown but a fair bit so taking it that af is here :(
On the plus side when I told DH he said "well it wasn't for want of trying" lol
bless him ...for him that is such a lovely comment.

PrtyPsn · 02/08/2015 20:39

Awww neetie that's crap news :( at least OH can soften the blow - trust a man to crack a joke! I've got some cramping going on so think I'll be joining you...

OP posts:
neetie1 · 02/08/2015 20:52

It's a really big step for him to be so open and talk about it so optimistic about things x

AlwaystheGodmother · 02/08/2015 21:07

Neetie & Prty - thinking of you gals, hope you both doing as well as you can do. Know what you mean about the sucker punch of BFNs & hope they don't continue, remember it ain't over til it's in full flow & symptoms can be similar.... Keep us updated ladies. X
Alcohol free weekend for me & plenty of water/paracetamol seems to have warded off the cystitis so have been back on the horse (cheers Annie for the encouragement in spite of foof illness) as (I think) this was ovulation wkend. Also booze free - Prty your good influence is spreading....(even in spite of my thoughtless friends BFP On Her First Month of Trying for DC2 announcement of last week! I need a frickin medal.)

Stripes1983 · 02/08/2015 21:23

Thinking of you neetie and Prty sending negative vibes to warn AF off!:) x

PrtyPsn · 02/08/2015 21:32

Hahahaha not only am I making you all symptom spitting crazies but now I'm turning you all against booze!! What I wouldn't give for a decent any glass of red wine!!! To be fair I thought I'd struggle more than I have being sober, most of the time it doesn't bother me but every now and then I could really do with it!!

OP posts:
Annie2311 · 03/08/2015 08:15

Oh bollocks, sorry to hear that AF is here neetie, what a bummer. Sounds like your OH is a treasure though - that is a brilliant response!

Good for you Godmother! We will not be defeated by bladder infections! Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better.

Over here it's DBAFD 6, symptoms 0. Is it weird to want to have sore boobs? WHAT HAS BECOME OF ME?!

LifeIsGood14 · 03/08/2015 09:05

Annie hahahahaha! I was like that last month! Please boobs!! Just a little tingle! Haha Fx'd for you love xx
