TTC - anxious over early pregnancy possible symptoms?

Hi,
First time post so please be kind :)
Been TTC for 4 months now (though month 1 we missed my fertile window)
I'm around 5ish days from AF being due but wondering if I could be pregnant for a few reasons: I e been really struggling to sleep the past few nights and when I manage to I have really vivid dreams (the kind when you aren't sure if they have actually happened when you wake up) I've been peeing almost double what I normally would and every now and then I get a weird feeling in my stomach, in a similar place to where I have period pains but it's not pain, it's more like when you over extend a muscle, just a twinge then it's gone.
Was wondering if anyone had similar symptoms? Sorry to pour all this in here (you've probably heard it a million times before) but nobody knows we are TTC so I'm kinda on my own with this!

Hi ladies :) just read through the thread and you all seem really lovely and supportive of each other. I'm on attempt 13 for bambino #1, and tbh, ive been quite relaxed till this month, spent pretty much all of Mon/Tues crying for ridiculous reasons-even in public, (eg in sainsbos cos i passed a dog with a jacket on,- owners really loved him) weds started bleeding, (quite heavy for me with pain which I never get,) which stopped this morning, my af isn't due till weds. I've done a test-bfn. Boobs are fine, no nausea, just really emotional, ups n downs, which really really isn't like me. I feel frikkin mental! Do you guys think its my AF early (never had before) or implantation? If I've suddenly developed pmt from the depths of hell, I'm gonna be well peed off! Sorry for the rambling post. Xx

Bit of a rant.

First month off implanon (4 weeks to be precise).

The last week or two I've had stomach cramps, nausea, changes to my nipples, a very bloated stomach and light spotting which looked very much like an implantation bleed.

However I've had BFNs on all of my OPKs this month and now on my HPT as well. Still no AF.

So frustrating not knowing if I could still be PG, or if my symptoms are just down to implanon withdrawal side effects, or even the dreaded AF.

At least if AF came I could start tracking again properly instead of being in this horrible limbo. Doesn't help that DH seems convinced I am PG, feel like I'll have disappointed him if I'm not.

Hi suzie welcome :) thanks for sharing your story, we are pretty supportive and here to help as much as we can!
I would say if it was heavy enough to need a sanitary towel them it probably wasn't implantation but who knows? Could just be an odd cycle. I wouldn't worry too much until actual date of AF had passed.

Oh, and I'm 30 (another selfish career woman!) it's sunny in Generically Yorkshire and it better bloody last!!

I'm more of a 'didn't find anyone until I was 33 and then it took 10 years to convince him' type of person lol

Hey, thanks for the reply, just so hard innit? I reckon if its a bfn this month then its time for the docs. I'm 34 & my dh is 39. Never thought it would take this long!! (I'm a scot in Surrey) formerly sane, but slightly questionable now... ;)

Have you not spoke to your doc yet suzie? Though a year isn't a massively long time it would be crossing my mind to get checked out. Don't worry - when it comes to TTC none of us are sane!
Heartburn has gone for those keeping track, DBAFD 4 and feeling... well, decidedly normal :/ ho hum!

I'm 30 too and bagged a toy boy husband! Paaaahahaha! He irritates the life out of me at times mind! Far from a career woman - 3 days a week at work is a struggle!

MummyBex I had those exact symptoms recently, usually AF is as regular as clockwork but the month I decide to start 'trying' it messes around and is 5 days late. Now I'm having the MOTHER of all AF's..... Fun! Oh and the sun has come out just to make it even more uncomfortable!

We need some bfp's to cheer us all up! Mind you it's Friday so lets just get p!ssed!! Well, those of us who aren't still waiting to test! I'll have a cheeky pimms for you all! xxx

Crap that you're having such a rough (and unwanted!) AF pinky have more than one Pimms for me - sober since March (except 1 week on hols) and I'm missing Pimms and Proseco in the sun!! Think of me with my Becks Blue tonight!

Hey all, just catching up after a busy couple of days! Godmother - hope your cystitis clears up - had it a few times over the years and it's awful so hopefully you can get it sorted quickly !
I'm almost 32, wasn't in my "life plan" TTC at this age but neither was a lot of things and actually can't imagine myself as a mom before now anyway ! I'm still having BFN on the obv tests -I'm yet to get a BFP yet- 2nd cycle of using them
Prty- have you started temping ?

Not yet stripes didn't want to start until a new cycle and DBAFD 3 at the min. Having my doubts about temping - it's very rigid and has to be done at 'full rest' which is apparently at least 3 hours of unbroken sleep but I wake several times a night :/ I'm a little worried I'll get obsessed too since you have to do it every day and it's the first thing you do. OPK was too frustrating for me though so temping might be my only option

Hi bex and suzie, welcome! Hope everyone is doing ok today. DBAFD 8 here and zero symptoms- probs a bit early really. Oh, and I'm 33.

I woke up a little nauseous today but think it's just hunger plus heat! Really regretting flushing my FMU now though

Before I started TTC I used to see adverts for tests and be like 'who the hell wants a tests that can tell 2 days before you even miss a period? Who would think they were pregnant before missing a period? Why would you test that early anyway?' I can quite seriously answer all of those rhetorical questions now!

Morning all! OH and DDon't have gone food shopping so i'my wallowing in all my AF gloriousness good luck to those testing, the next 4 weeks can't pass quick enough for me!

Prty if only there was a test you could use the following day! I'd pay £200 for one just to know! The waiting drives me scatty!

I'm feeling so rough today, dizzy and feel like I'm gonna through up! Can't wait for AF to clear off so we can get going again!! Hehe

Ok so I peed on an OPK to see if it picked up a spike in oestrogen try and cure my urge to test!! It came back negative which means... nothing really!! I did some research and apparently OPK can be used as an unreliable pg test in a pinch as it detects both hormones but doesn't differentiate! But I am still 3 days away and I didn't get a positive OPK when I supposedly was ovulating so I don't know!!

Lol pinky so I have the mother of all AFs to look forward to then?!

Still no AF but seem to have a delightfully dodgy stomach

Awww mummybex, you never know! I had the same symptoms when I first fell preggo with #1 so it' really hard to tell until your bfp!
