TTC - anxious over early pregnancy possible symptoms?

Hi,
First time post so please be kind :)
Been TTC for 4 months now (though month 1 we missed my fertile window)
I'm around 5ish days from AF being due but wondering if I could be pregnant for a few reasons: I e been really struggling to sleep the past few nights and when I manage to I have really vivid dreams (the kind when you aren't sure if they have actually happened when you wake up) I've been peeing almost double what I normally would and every now and then I get a weird feeling in my stomach, in a similar place to where I have period pains but it's not pain, it's more like when you over extend a muscle, just a twinge then it's gone.
Was wondering if anyone had similar symptoms? Sorry to pour all this in here (you've probably heard it a million times before) but nobody knows we are TTC so I'm kinda on my own with this!
Thanks

Tiggery really? Ooh that's made me a little excited! But obvs don't want to get my hopes up. And I am gonna try very hard not to test early! Haha

I've just had a nap, still very tired and just don't feel very sparkling is how I will describe it xx

neetie1 · 18/07/2015 19:24

Just goes to show though how wrong my period trackers were ..one was four days out :O

PrtyPsn · 18/07/2015 19:57

I'm still tracking my CM and DTD on Clue but I'm not believing a word it says about my fertile window or when it thinks AF is due Hmm

LifeIsGood14 · 18/07/2015 21:16

Yea I don't believe a word my tracker says either...i will prob test thurs morning as we go away Thursday night. With family who have no idea we are TTC! If AF arrives I will have a drink, if not it will be more excuses lol.

Annie2311 · 19/07/2015 00:13

prty, life, neetie I think my tracker app is well off the mark too. AF went off on her merry way today so I'm going to try and persuade my OH to DTD every other day for the next three weeks and see if that works! Feels like a bit of a mission though, and not hugely romantic! Ah well, worse things to inflict on them hey?!

PrtyPsn · 19/07/2015 08:47

Haha know what you mean Annie this cycle I've not told other half anything about when I'm ovulating cos I'm starting to think it's putting him under pressure and sometimes it does feel a bit like we DTD cos we have to - don't get me wrong, we always want to or we wouldn't but some times feel less romantic or passionate than others if that makes sense? I'm just gonna use my womanly wiles to try and ensure regular DTD without arousing (hehe) suspicion of when it really matters
Like you say, there's worse things we could make then do lol!

This was the first month it was accurate for OV so perhaps OH was feeling slightly more under pressure bless him. Dtd twice over last couple of days and each time he said it was just a little bit of CM , this morning however much better ;)
As this was day two of positive OV we are pretty much into out two week wait now, unless we dtd tonight, poor hubby said he was worn out though lol

PrtyPsn · 19/07/2015 11:00

Haha neetie big up for the CM!! Poor hubby though, maybe he does deserve a rest... or not!!
Just as an aside, as I entered my data into Clue this morning I noticed the difference between their 'protected DTD' and 'unprotected DTD' I never realised they were different before but the 'protected' icon guy has a tie on!!! Not sure how much protection a tie affords but if any of you ladies are DTD straight from the office then make sure he gets fully undressed first Wink

Haha LOVE the contraceptive tie haha. That's brilliant

My poor DH had the opposite of no pressure bless him! Cos I was in no way anticipating ovulating at ALL my first cycle off the pill, given my PCOS, DTD was only really for recreational purposes rather than SWI (shagging with intent!) - given the 9 month anovulatory cycle last time I came off the pill figured have been bloody knackered if had tried to follow a schedule before starting the Clomid!. So given it was the hottest week of the year, DTD hadn't really been top recreational activity, and without any fertile CM my body showed no indication of deciding to kick into gear.

Until I was caught on the hop with a peak reading and I ran in waving the CBFM yelling 'holy shit we have a smiley face, all systems are go! We need to get on it asap!!!" - If that's not alluring (no pressure!) I don't know what is?!! Lol

LifeIsGood14 · 19/07/2015 22:06

We DTD every other day for first 2 weeks and every day of fertile window. I haven't used O tests, just tried to see the signs listen to my body. I'm pretty confident we didn't miss it.

My nipples are sore to touch now and breasts feel big and I feel bloated. I do however suffer from IBS so could be that. I've had cramps all weekend on and off. Dizziness has gone now but still very tired. 1 week past ovulation now and AF due around Thursday/Friday

Getting very impatient now!!

PrtyPsn · 19/07/2015 22:18

Wow, sounds to me like you pretty much covered every feasible time of O life also sounds like you might need a new bed lol!
Not long to wait til Friday (if you hold back that long!) some good-ish symptoms though, FX'd x

LifeIsGood14 · 19/07/2015 22:31

Haha we def gave it our best shot! Lol still telling myself that all the symptoms I do have could be my mind playing tricks or could be changes in my body since stopping the pill... who knows!! Thanks!

Annie2311 · 20/07/2015 16:51

Sounds pretty good life! Crossing everything for you.

Ha ha ha prty that's hilarious! I will insist DH takes his tie off... You'd have thought it would be an icon with a hat on, no?!

PrtyPsn · 20/07/2015 16:59

Pahahahahaha annie that would probably have made more sense! A bloody tie of all things!!
Another pregnancy announcement today, just a friend of a friend but my friend went on and on about how stupid this person was to fall pregnant and that she didn't deserve it because she's so selfish... was hard to know how to feel and I'm now worried how my friend will react when I get my BFP - lets just say she's jumped from the middle of my list of people to tell to the very bottom Hmm

OP posts:
Annie2311 · 20/07/2015 18:37

Oh prty, sorry to hear your friend is being negative. It may well be that she's just projecting her own negative feelings onto the situation because she's either terrified of having kids herself or jealous in some way.
When you get your BFP, however anyone else feels or responds to it doesn't matter, if they want to be grumpy/miserable that's their problem... Plus if you're anything like I think I might be, you'll be so over the moon you won't give a toss!
If her response is making you blue though, maybe just ask her a bit more about why she feels like that, it might make her think before sounding off again! xxx

PrtyPsn · 20/07/2015 20:50

I suspect she's jealous annie she has one child and wants another but isn't currently in a relationship :/
Also she seems to think she's the only persons who's ever had a child before and nobody ever realises how hard it is and that if people knew they probably wouldn't get pregnant so quickly (or ever!) she's a pretty toxic person when she wants to be, maybe I just don't need her in my life right now.
And it seems you've got me pegged - I won't give a shit about people's reactions, that's very much me, other half however is more sensitive and I'm not prepared to let anyone ruin it for him or make it negative.

LifeIsGood14 · 21/07/2015 11:20

2 days till AF due and all my symptoms have gone :-/ haha apart from back ache, that's still there ....Hmm

Annie2311 · 21/07/2015 15:13

Bleurgh, it's waiting that's the worst bit! Crossing everything for you life xx

PrtyPsn · 21/07/2015 19:22

How frustrating life keep us updated!
I'm starting to get disheartened by my OPK - by my calculations (and the app) I should be ovulating but keep getting negatives. Could be cos they are IC's, could be cos I can't hold my pee for 4 bloody hours, could be I'm not ovulating but it's getting pretty shitty seeing a negative result every time, don't think it's helping me :/

OP posts:
Stripes1983 · 21/07/2015 19:36

I had that Prty , tested every day in my fertile window and got negatives, but when out of curiosity I checked my period tracker app which roughly tells you when you should ovulate it was almost a week earlier! What is it so hard to pinpoint!?

LifeIsGood14 · 21/07/2015 19:55

Thank you, will do! sorry to hear your having problems calculating Ovulation. I may have to start trying to calculate if I don't get a BFP this month. Why is baby making so complicated?! Why does it not happen when you desperately want it to? sigh

PrtyPsn · 21/07/2015 20:00

Problem is I didn't want to get obsessed over it but at CD14 I'm already pulling my hair out over it! I don't know what to do over it - I'm thinking of ditching the sticks but even now I'm thinking, shall I just test and see? But the BFNs are hard to take Hmm

OP posts:
Stripes1983 · 21/07/2015 20:08

I know how you feel and I'm thinking I'll be worse next cycle - I was testing twice a day some days but like you say it's disheartening, I kind of thought it would be simple with the OPK's but apparently not! How long have you got left in your fertile window ?
