nightandthelight · 28/07/2015 08:24

Yay congrats glitter :) A very lucky bus here!

Southy84 · 28/07/2015 08:27

I forgot to update my stats after last months short cycle, now due 6th August and cycle 28. I now have a OV date on ff of cd 18 two days later than last month so hopefully a normal length cycle :)

MsGlitterJunkie · 28/07/2015 09:17

Thank you all, lovely lovely ladies Grin July seems to be a bumper month for BFPs! Here's hoping August is super lucky for the rest of us Smile

I've now got to spend the next 8 hours at a team away day pretending like nothing has happened and dodging the free booze afterwards which will be interesting as I'm well known for my addiction to prosecco and for never ever turning down free booze

Have a great day everyone!

DizzyMerry · 28/07/2015 09:32

Many congratulations glitter.

We're on a roll here and fx tightly crossed for more bfp's.

Mummyofonesofar · 28/07/2015 09:50

Congratulations glitter !!!

3 BFPs in as many days. What a lucky bus!

Mummyofonesofar · 28/07/2015 09:56

Love how our stats are filling up with BFPs!! Grin

Southy84 · 28/07/2015 10:43

I juat phoned to see if there were any cancellations at the fertility clinic. They had one for not next week but the week after but DH won't be around so I couldn't take it. Feeling a bit gutted, I know it's not his fault but really frustrating. Sorry just needed a rant and have no one else to moan to!

DizzyMerry · 28/07/2015 10:49

That's really frustrating southy. Hopefully another cancellation will come up again.

Southy84 · 28/07/2015 11:03

Fx :) it's made me feel more confident about getting one though

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 28/07/2015 11:34

southy that's not nice, pet. Maybe phone again. Bother them so much that they try and fit you in just to get you off the phone? Grin
Lovely megabusladies, I'm going awol for a few days but will be back to look in you all in a while again. Stay positive and get yourselves on progesterone immediately and hope to see lots more BFPs when I come back! :)

MsGlitterJunkie · 28/07/2015 19:02

Argh southy what a pain in the bum! Still, it shows that cancellations do come up so just keep phoning, daily if necessary. Will keep my fingers crossed for you.
See you soon auf!

FrancoisLaPrune · 29/07/2015 14:00

I love this bus, I don't come on for a week and when I come back there are more BFP's! Congratulations Mummy,Dizzy and Glitter so happy for you!

I agree with the others Southy keep pestering them until they see you, I hope you get your appointment soon.

I have my booking in appointment with the midwife on Monday. I am feeling a bit weird about it all. It'll be 2 years this Friday since we lost my son so my emotions are all over the place anyway. Because of the complications with my last pregnancy they told me at the time I would be under consultant care next time round so I guess that is a good thing, I'll be looked after but my head's a bit of a mess and the thought of anything going wrong this time is clouding what should be a happy time, enjoying being pregnant. Maybe its my hormones, just feeling really crap today Sad

DizzyMerry · 29/07/2015 14:46

Thanks francois. Big hugs to you lovely. So sorry you lost your son. I can't even begin to imagine what you've been through. I'm sure you will be looked after and monitored closely this time.

wish1406 · 29/07/2015 17:30

Wow guys!!! You've all been very busy!!! Massive congrats to all the BFP! dizzy mummy glitter fantastic news! This is a lucky bus!!!
Stay positive fran it's all you can do! It's what I keep telling myself too! I'm under consultant too. However I'll not see anyone until after 12w scan as that's when they deem a pregnancy viable I guess! Hang in there you will be fine! How far along are you now?
Keep pestering them southy persistence always pays off! You will get your BFP too!!! Keep smiling!
I'm 10w now! Feels like 100w tho! Starting to show so having to wear really baggy clothes! My 4yo nephew asked my why I was a fatty belly! Aaaaagh! Kids are so kind! Lol

Thanks wish & fran !

southy mega annoying about the appt but at least it shows they do get cancellations!

fran they will keep a close eye on you so try not to worry lovely x

AF was due today and not a hint of spotting so may ring the midwife tomorrow and get a date to work towards! Lots of pains/cramping though so hoping it's still implantation!

DizzyMerry · 30/07/2015 09:57

Thanks wish. I forgot how time goes so slowly in pregnancy and when others tell me how far along they are I keep saying time flies but I've just realised it actually doesn't! We found out on Monday and it seems like time is at a standstill.

nightandthelight · 30/07/2015 11:31

It crawls doesn't it merry :( I almost went insane. It will pass though lovely :)

Mummyofonesofar · 30/07/2015 11:57

Very slow! 5 days since I found out. Midwife on 24th Aug. trying to get a scan before we fly to Bulgaria at 8+3 but they have said no. May have to feign spotting it pain to get one.

DizzyMerry · 30/07/2015 12:16

Hopefully night. I completely forgot what it's like and remember how I just wanted the first trimester over with. When ttc I always said I would enjoy enjoy every moment of pregnancy when it happens but I want to hurry it along now as the early days are so worrying. How are you doing?

Mummy it's unbelievable they won't offer you an early scan considering what you've been through. I do hope you manage to get one.

I don't know whether to have a private scan at 7/8 weeks. I know DH wouldn't want to but I knew nothing about this when pregnant with DD and was so nervous about the first scan. So everyone who's had one, did you find it reassuring?

MissSMartin · 30/07/2015 13:44

mummy agreed its unfair especially after last time. . can't you go private? just to reassure yourself x

i actually feel like my pregnancy is going pretty damn fast im 15weeks tomorrow. . nearly half way! got my gender scan in 12 days.. every morning i wake up and tell dp the count down till we know what our little blob is Grin

southy hope you get an appt soon hun Smile x

MissSMartin · 30/07/2015 13:46

Dizzy yep! most definitely.. especially after I'd had bleeding twice before the scan and they thought i may have mc'd.. it was amazing! i would if I was you so worth the money Smile x

Mummyofonesofar · 30/07/2015 14:00

I live up north. Like really far north. No scan places nearby. I would travel 1-2 hours and they are all £100+

MsGlitterJunkie · 30/07/2015 17:59

Thank you francois & wish Grin

And big hug to you francois, it's such a tricky time so remember to be kind to yourself. There are no rules, you feel how you feel, totally normal and understandable.

Completely agree that time feels as if it's going at a snail's pace. I can't believe it's only been two days since I found out, feels like weeks! These early days are the worst as it feels as if everything is literally balancing on a knife edge but I'm really really trying to keep my mind positive......

I find it absolutely scandalous that they won't scan you mummy, I have to say I'm really, really surprised, terrible that you're forced to put your hand in your pocket and go private.......but I guess it's the NHS postcode lottery sadly.

I live in London and because of my previous MCs they offer scans and blood tests from 6 weeks onwards I think and I can get an appointment within 2 or 3 days.

I'm going to wait and ask for my first scan at 7 weeks because I think the baby's heartbeat will be visible by then. No use in being seen too early as I think that will send my stress levels through the roof! Would definitely go privately if it wasn't offered on the NHS though!

Mummyofonesofar · 31/07/2015 07:46

Glitter they said if I had experienced 3 mcs they would scan me but not after 1. Will try asking my GP to refer me. I work with one of them so with any luck she won't say no.
