That's mad lulu, I had no idea. Is it all the children he will be going to nursery with? It must be nice for you to be able to spend some time with him there too.

Fingers crossed hour ds sleeps well for you cupcake, sounds like he has had a busy day and lots to eat so hopefully he will Smile

My ds has been in a very strange mood today, he woke up, wouldn't eat his breakfast, then he threw his lunch across the room, for dessert he had rasberrys and grapes but seemed to find it more entertaining to smush them in my hair while I was cleaning up lunch. Then he ate a small dinner, wouldn't eat his dessert and wouldn't eat his porridge. If I put him down he was just hysterical and would crawl over to me and just put his hands up, then when I pick him up he would start laughing so much Blush

LuluJakey1 · 09/09/2015 22:42

Cupcake- let's hope he sleeps for 12 hours straight through! FX
Tea was nice. It is something we often used to have in France when we went out for 6 weeks in the summer- the crepes that is. I love tarte tatin and had not made it for ages. DS had a little bit of that too- the apple.

DH gave up on work at 9 Ducky. He is lying here exhausted with his mind whirring. He needs some sleep I think. He says he needs to do something to de-stress.I said he had better not be looking at me because the answer is no. Grin He said he'll wake me up early when he's got a bit more energy. He'd better not. DS and I can sleep for another hour after he gets up. It's bliss. Peaceful, quiet. I have the bed to myself.

Your DS sounds like he has had a quirky day! Ds does not often throw food because he stuffs it in his mouth. He likes almost anything- except rice cakes and tuna. Little glutton!

Ducky my DS has days like that for no reason.
How is ur DS today?

Lulu hope ur having a nice day and have some nice plans!

DS woke at 2am coughing and then finally stopped coughing at about 3am and fell back to sleep Grin
Took him to nursery at 8am..... He waved to me and said 'bye' ..... My, not so, little baby waved me off to go into nursery! :O
Such a good boy and I'm so so shocked how fast he's settling. I could not be any prouder :)
I nipped into town to buy DS his winter clothes, trousers, long tops and some new shoes. Also some after pregnancy pjs for me Grin I got baby his newborn nappies finally too!! :) so that's everything brought now. All done for all children haha.

The house is still tidy from yesterday and I hoovered last night so don't need to do that today! All I've done is sprayed some febreeze on the furniture to spruce it up a bit :) so I'm now gonna go out for some quiet lunch with my mom and pick DS up later :)

zombiemeow · 10/09/2015 14:40

Hope dh got a good rest lulu. Da loves throwing food Grin he likes watching the dogs eat it.

Agh cupcake that sounds so cute!!! I went out looking for warmer clothes for ds today but couldn't find any nice things, looks like they haven't put it all out yet as there were still mainly short sleeve t shirts.

LuluJakey1 · 10/09/2015 20:59

I have not even thought about winter clothes for DS. He has a coat with a furry hood that I bought in a sale at Easter - it is 12-18months, and a cool fleece-from a surf shop near us- DH bought it one Saturday morning in the village. I'll have to get him some trousers and boots for bad weather and some jumpers/warm tops.

DH has just come in from work. He looks so tired. He is having his tea and a bottle of Stella and sitting by himself in the dining room. When he came in, he came into the kitchen and just gave me a big hug. I think he just needs a bit of time to chill out. Poor DH, he left for work at 7 this morning- that is a 14 hour day. I have said he is not doing any more work tonight. I think he is going to have a bath.

Well, I went to put something in the wheelie bin before and a fox trotted past me. Just glanced sideways as if it had things to do and places to go and hadn't time to even look at me- off across the cricket pitch, along the edge of the green, down the avenue of trees to the dene. I love seeing them.

Cupcake, I am very impressed with your DS and nursery. It is as if it suddenly fell into place for him. I can leave DS for a hour next time. I thought I would just walk down the village shops and back and see how he had done. It is not long enough to go anywhere else. How many weeks are you now Cupcake?

zombiemeow · 10/09/2015 21:10

Ohh I love foxs lulu! We have two by us, I put them a tin of food out every few days.

It's meant to go very cold here this weekend, ds has two jumpers but needs some more long sleeve tops and a coat.

Cupcake92 · 10/09/2015 21:11

There's not a lot of baby winter clothes so far! But the toddler ones there was a few that had just been put out so I grabbed them :)
DS has got an amazing winter coat it's lovely and thick and so cosy! Can't wait till he can wear it!

Aw Lulu ur poor DH :( I hope he manages a good nights sleep tonight and unwinds.
Oo when do u leave DS for an hour? I do believe nursery is a great place for children, or even a child minder. They just learn so much.
I'm also impressed at DS to Lulu he's doing very well. He ate some dinner again today and even tried some snack. Oh and he fell asleep on a nursery nurses lap this morning bless him!
I'm 33 weeks now Lulu. I'm ready for him to come out now I think. I've had enough now, it's getting very difficult now he's so big in there.

Cupcake92 · 10/09/2015 21:13

Ducky it's meant to be raining all weekend here!

LuluJakey1 · 10/09/2015 22:00

I don't know how I would feel about Ds cuddling up on someone else's knee to sleep. The idea is quite upsetting! I have never thought about it before. He likes other people but does not get that close except to me and DH. He will cuddle up to MIL and FIL actually but that is about it. I am comfortable with that. He is very relaxed with SIL and BIL but not cuddley with them. He can go for an hour next week. I might take him for an hour and stay one day ad leave him the next.

DH is in the bath in the dark.

OP posts:
zombiemeow · 10/09/2015 22:20

He's doing great cupcake! Ds has ate loads today too. He's been asleep since around 7.30 and not made a peep. I have this horrible feeling though if he has a good night we will get a false alarm on his monitor, I don't think I can take any more!

Lulu dh sounds like he has has a tough day today. I think I would be a bit uneasy about ds cuddling up on someone's lap but I suppose ours are still young Smile

Cupcake92 · 11/09/2015 04:37

Lulu, ducky, if DS was still under 1 I would feel uneasy for sure! I had very big issues letting DS go to people when he was small. I hated it! I remember I would much rather battle through tiredness than let DS go and be looked after by family. Tho I was okay with my mom having him.
I'm still a bit like that now but I feel fine with nursery as its down the road from I know the staff there n DS seems comfortable.
I think I'll be very much like that when DS2 is born.
ExH's sister used to asked every week to have DS by herself for the day and I'd make every excuse under the sun not to go leave him with her. I just felt uneasy, glad I didn't as she's been awful to me and haven't seen or spoke to DS in about a year now. Not even on his birthday n no card either.

Ducky how was DS through the night? He sounded like he started well! :) hope u didn't get a false alarm from his monitor tho!

My DS went to sleep at 9:30 due to a late nap as he had an early one in the morning he was unable to stay awake all day. He's still asleep now and not coughed tonight :) sounds like he's finally better ! Woo!

zombiemeow · 11/09/2015 07:37

Is it because of all the stuff with exh she hasn't spoke to you? Or is she just a bit like that anyway?

Ds was ok, he woke at 3 for his dummy, then woke at 4. H said he would sort him but he's currently refusing to take a bottle from anyone but me. He wouldn't eat so h put him back in his cot with his dummy. His cot has got books under one end because he has a cold and he started standing and shaking it, I'm worried about it slipping off the books so I went and sorted him though he didn't really go back to sleep properly.
He woke up this morning with lots of snot tho, he's still happy and when he laughs he gets big snot bubbles Blush

Cupcake92 · 11/09/2015 19:33

Yep ducky. It all started when me n exH started arguing bad and then I said it was over. She's not even spoken to him either. She's a bit funny anyway.
Oh no not snot! How has he been today? I hope he's less snotty tonight!

I feel like I do way too much each day.
Constantly tidying up! Eughhhhhhhhh

zombiemeow · 11/09/2015 20:19

He seemed a bit better before bed but was snoring a bit. Hope he sleeps ok!

Ergh just ignore her cupcake, I really don't understand people like that. She is missing out on your lovely ds over something small. Her loss!

LuluJakey1 · 12/09/2015 16:19

We took DS up to the country park today and walked miles. He was very excited by the birds, particularly the geese and ducks. Then we had sandwiches and hot chocolate outside at the cafe. He had egg and tomato and some juice and apple slices. There was a downpour so we have come home.

He is going to SIL's tonight and they are babysitting him overnight. DH and I are going out for a meal at some friends. They are good company and we haven't seen them for a while so that should be nice. We're taxiing so we can have a drink. He needs to have a weekend where he does nice things and relaxes. Tomorrow we are collecting DS just before lunch and taking SIL and BIL out for lunch as a thank you. They think a night with DS is a huge treat Grin They might feel differently tomorrow.

DH is taking DS round there now so we've got a few hours to ourselves before we go out. He says we deserve a sleep. I don't think he means sleep at all. Smile

Cupcake92 · 12/09/2015 16:29

Ducky did DS end up sleeping okay?

Lulu that's lovely :) bet ur SIL and BIL will have a lovely time looking after ur DS! :)
I hope u and DH have a good night out and let ur hair down!
:)

I started potty training DS today. He's been refusing to wear his nappy and it's always a battle to put one on him. I only
Started this afternoon as went out this morning to buy some food lol. So far he's not weed in 2 and a half hours!! I think he's holding it in as its all new to sit on the potty Grin

LuluJakey1 · 12/09/2015 19:11

We will Cupcake. We have had a couple of hours in bed Grin and I am ready to go out. DH has had a shower and is getting dressed (he needed a little sleep while I was in the bath and getting ready). We usually have a real laugh with these friends so I am hoping it is one of those nights. Apparently DS never batted an eyelid when DH left him. Hmm

Toilet training......all that is to come. Not keen on the thought. I hope Your DS is easily trained.

Hope you have a good sleep tonight. Not long now until the baby comes so get some sleep stored up.

OP posts:
zombiemeow · 12/09/2015 19:29

Hope you have a nice time lulu Smile dh sounds like he needs a break too!

He slept ok cupcake, he woke around 4.30 and I fed him to sleep then he went til 7. Hes not in a good mood as we had to go mil'a today.

Hope the training goes well, does he not wear a nappy at all now? Or is it pull ups?

Cupcake92 · 12/09/2015 20:31

Ur DS has improved so much on sleep ducky! :) oh no about the mil's!! Hope it wasn't too torturous!
Well I've done a no nappy or pants, just a top on afternoon Grin he's peed on the floor LOADS! But managed 2 wees in the potty and was treated to a square of chocolate for each wee haha :)
I won't be putting him in pull ups as I was reading an article where it said they confused them and it was best to go into pants. So he'll wear pants whenever we go out lol. The plus side is I have nursery now to help me train him and give me some tips! Which I need Grin
I rele wanted to wait till at least Christmas but DS is so ready now

Cupcake92 · 12/09/2015 20:33

I'm quite jealous Lulu! Wish I had some friends like that to go out and have laughs and fun with :) have a really good time !

zombiemeow · 12/09/2015 20:59

I think potty training is going to be one of them things that just totally baffles me!! What will he wear during the night?

Since ds was 5 mo, my hair started falling out, I put it down to post pArtum hair loss and left it, then I got full on bald patches dotted all over Sad I finally booked an appt after I woke up one day with a couple of bald patches and really really bad skin so I finally went to the Drs. They think it's just due to stress as I've had a few other things going on, but I have an apt Monday for blood tests to see if there's anything else going on. Luckily the patches have grown back since I started taking vitamins but the hairs short

Cupcake92 · 13/09/2015 08:13

It baffles me ducky! I don't get it lol
He'll wear nappies at night until he's learnt to go to the potty and have no accidents all day. And then once he's having dry nappies at night I'll take the nappy off at night.
It's bloody hard.
They could be right by sayin it's stress related. Stress can do awful things. U will have to let us know how the blood test goes.

LuluJakey1 · 13/09/2015 09:19

Morning. Hope DS is quickly on that potty Cupcake. Do you have to follow him round. all the time?

Ducky, my hair is just getting back to normal but it's not there yet. It's a horrible feeling isn't it? Did you say you have dark hair too? Mine is blonde and short so it was not that noticeable except to me. I was obsessed with it and so self-conscious- although DH could not see any difference (or so he said).

We had such a nice night. It was really good fun. There was a point where I was laughing so much I had to go to the loo. DH was completely relaxed. The food was great too and there were no children. Grin We got a taxi home and he stayed awake. He was very awake again this morning when he woke up and is now snoozing happily feeling very pleased with himself. Thinks he is a sex god.

I am going to get up, get ready and go to Sainsbury's to do the shopping and leave him asleep.

One of the cats went out last night and has come in full of himself this morning because he has been hunting and killing- 3 mouse heads on patio and a dead sparrow. He also has a scratched ear. He is also exhausted and fast asleep.

The males of this world are still Neanderthal really aren't they - sex, hunting, fighting, sleep.

OP posts:
zombiemeow · 13/09/2015 11:17

Well I hope he gets the hang of it cupcake! When he goes out is he just wearing pants?

Lulu, glad you had a good time. Bet it's done you some good after how you have been feeling recently. I hope ds had a good time too!

My hair is naturally very very light but I am very pale so I thought it was really noticeable. The Dr said with dd, her funeral, ttc, movement anxiety, giving birth and ds being ill when he was so little it's very likely it's just stress, we will see.

LuluJakey1 · 13/09/2015 11:52

It's no wonder really is it Ducky- you have had so much stress to deal with in a very short space of time, then all the hormonal changes as well.

I definitely think Vitamin D and calcium and a good multivitamin have helped me. Plus fresh air and exercise. It means I get lots of sunlight and that helps with Vitamin D . I walk DS miles- I think up to 50 miles a week. That has changed my shape as well. I am back to flatter tummy, no waist, medium boobs, sort of straight up and down with longish legs and not curvy. I have no real bum either. I would like a bum. My middle has thinned down most.
