It annoys me that I am expected to indulge his football intetest but he looks at my thing I want to do. TBH I just feel in a bit of a fettle this morning. I probably need to get a grip.

Me this time last year as we left clinic after check-up. Must have been about 20 weeks. Feels like forever ago.

It feels like forever ago I was pregnant! It's mad isn't it. A few weeks ago one of them Facebook memories came up, it was ds 20 week scan and was a year ago

My maternity ends in a couple of days scary thought!

Aw that's a lovely bump for 20 weeks! I'm literally a massive whale now :) honestly my bump is huge and weirdly, it's dropped dramatically the past couple of days!

Ducky I have this app called Timehop and it was weird seeing a status from 2 years ago saying I was about to go and be induced and was soon to see my baby boy!
Now he's 2 years old and it's crazy! And I'm about to have another! time goes by so fast!

Well for lunch I made boiled eggs and ham salad. Usually I do scrambled for DS but I thought oo let's try him with a boiled egg. An egg is an egg right? Not to DS! He saw it and said 'err yuck' and hasn't eaten it! Such a fussy child!

I spent ages when ds was asleep making him a pizza kind of thing (dairy free bread, tomato, dairy free cheese and a little ham on top and put it in the oven for a bit) he picked it apart and chucked it

Ha cupcake he didn't appreciate it! He ate a little bit of his dinner which was fajitas

I'm a bit worried, earlier when he had a nap when I put him down his head was sweaty. I didn't know if it was because he was against me but I have put him to bed and his head that wasn't touching me felt sweaty and his hair is wet I took his temp and its fine. Just a bit worried

I wouldn't worry Ducky , my DS is mega sweaty he's always been! Especially the back of his head. He's never got a high temp tho so I think it is just a thing.

That's good to hear cupcake I get so worried about everything!

DS had boiled egg and soldiers for his tea and some stawberries and yoghurt. He has just had some milk and porridge and is cuddled into DH and very sleepy. MIL thinks he should go to bed earlier.

This is DH last night - he though he looked very cool. I don't like the shirt.

He did come and look at Sylvia Plath's grave - she was a poet who killed herself in the 1960s- suffered terrible depression and PPD. She gassed herself after her husband - Ted Hughes - left her. She sealed the kitchen doir ao her two small children were not affected. Amazing poetry. My dissertation at uni was about her. She was American but her husband, also a poet, was from the village where DH's parents live near. There is a good film about her and Ted Hughes called 'Sylvia' with Daniel whanot from James Bond and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Ducky, DS has been sweaty for a few days, I think it is the heat and humidity and downfalls. The rain here today has been warm and pouring.

Dh looks very cool lulu! I think as long as ds is happy and you are happy it doesn't matter what time he goes to bed! Whatever works for you
Sounds very interesting, especially if you did a dissertation on her. Is it the first time you have been there?

Ducky my DS used to leave wet patches on the sheets from his head sweating he still does! I probably should have been worried but I just thought he was a strange baby with this weird thing haha!

I'll try and get a bump pic today I promise. I forgot last night and was in my pjs n I don't wear pj bottoms as they are too tight now and hurt the bottom of my bump where my scar is

The poet sounds interesting. Does DH not like her or was it more the fact he couldn't be bothered to go?
I've never managed to be interested in poets etc, I wish I was tho. The only one I know Is Shakespeare.
I've always been interested in music, from a young age. That's my thing :) loved when I did my music gcse because we got to compose our own songs. Was brilliant.

DS woke early today. 5:30am and wanted to go downstairs! Now he's put a video on his iPad of some cartoon characters singing that chicken song. It's very irritating!

Chicken song! Did he stay in his own bed?

I feel awful, yesterday I was up at 4.30 and down stairs at 4.45. I went to bed at 11 after I'd finished cleaning etc. ds woke for his dummy at 3, 3.30 then at 3.45 he was just awake crying. I was so tired I cried I gave him some calpol and tried to feed him to sleep but he was awake until 5.30 or something. Then I put him back to bed I'm hoping he'll get better once he gets used to his sleepy tot, the parcel turned up yesterday and they sent the wrong thing so now I have to post it back Monday and wait for another one

Yeah he managed to stay in his own bed which is good :)

Oh no Ducky :( I've cried a few times when DS hasn't slept. Not good about his sleeytot! How long will it take to get the right one back?

I think DS is teething he's got most of his teeth but there's a few he hasn't got. He keeps putting his hand in his mouth and sitting there chewing it for ages and the amount of dribble and slobber is ridiculous!
Didn't think a 2 year old could dribble so much!

I have no idea because the message says they're out the office now until September

Oh no teething at 2?! Ds hasn't got any sign of any teeth yet.

And I'm a bit worried for when h gets out of bed. We'd been getting on so well recently but I flipped at him last night. Most the time I was up with ds he was snoring away in bed, then at one point he woke up and said 'it's ok' trying to be nice and I flipped I was like 'no it's not o fucking kay, I hardly slept yesterday and I've only had a couple of hours tonight' and he went 'I'm only trying to help' and I went 'don't bother' I was so tired and was a mega bitch

Ducky, just say sorry you were so grumpy to DH and explain. I am sure he'll understand.

Yes, DH has a few odd shirts- he loves them. There is one in particular I hate and fortunately, it now has a tear in it which is the end of it.

DS has two teeth now which he is very pleased with.

Cupcake, I think DS would not go to sleep earlier- he goes when he is tired. If we made him go earlier, surely he would be waking up at 5am whereas he sleeps until half 7 and sometimes 8 some mornings. But MIL os right in that when I am back at work, him trotting round until half -9 or 10 at night will mean I can't get any marking done. I might start seeing if I can train him to earlier as the nights get darker.

He us 34 weeks on Tuesday. Can't believe it. 18 weeks until he is 1

What time is ds last nap lulu? Ds could do with staying up longer but he's usually just so tired!

And two teeth! How was he when they were coming through? Was it the bottom ones?

Saw my mom today, she's been on holiday alllllllll week so was nice to see her :) then to make things even greater she took DS to see my nan and grandad with her! I got about an hours peace it was so weird

Great that dm had ds my dm took ds for a couple of hours today. H was fine when he woke up when dm took ds I went to the hair dressers for the first time in years! They have a tiny car park and I was driving round for ages and there were no spaces so I had to drive and park down the road. When I came out it was sunny, I popped in the shop next door and when I came out it was torrential rain and thunder I had no jacket or anything and it was a 15/20 min walk back to my car. I was not impressed.

Took 2 hours to get ds to sleep tonight. He hadn't napped all day so was tired at 6, managed to get him down at 8. He doesn't like this weather I hate it, bring on the cold so I can get my warm jumpers and blankets out.... But not too cold

I don't think DS2 will be in there much longer lol!

Yes I had my physio, I have another appt on 9th September. She's wanting me to wear a proper support band but because of all my braxton hicks she needs to check with the doctor as it could bring on early labour. So I may not be able to have it :(

Oo lucky u! I need a good haircut :) I really wanna dye my hair but waiting till ds2 is born. I wanna go a deep purple again, I loved it purple!
I'm not surprised DS didn't wanna sleep the weather is horrible!! So humid and hot :(
I want cold weather too! My jumpers and ugg boots are calling me!

I made his room nice and cool but the rest of the house is like an oven, he won't go to sleep without his sleeping bag on and he won't fall asleep unless he's down stairs, I tried holding him but we both were just getting sweaty so I took him upstairs and he wouldn't fall asleep in the end I put him in his sleeping bag but unzipped it and had it open with a muslin on my arm to try and stop his head sweating so much.

I don't know if it's a one off but he's only had 3 bottles today I don't know if it's just because of the heat though
